Kris B and G Circle are absolutely the best! Kris is incredibly talented, and her attention to detail is unmatched. I usually get a pixie cut, which can be hard to pull off, especially with my thick Asian hair that doesn't always lay nicely, and I've had some bad experiences elsewhere. But Kris has nailed it every single time. Her cuts are precise, stylish, and always flattering. She also takes the time to style my hair and makes sure everything looks amazing before I leave. Whether I wanted a shorter cut or needed advice on growing out my hair, I've always been very happy with the results. On top of that, Kris is super friendly and easy to chat with, so I'm always looking forward to my next haircut! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel at ease with her warm, genuine personality. Recently visited G Circle Barber Lounge tucked in the heart of Oakland: atmosphere is relaxed, but polished, and the professionalism stands out. My cousin Jaycob has his station set up in the rear, right corner of the shop, so I brought my little brother in for a haircut. He's been growing his hair out for a while and wanted something tailored and contemporary without losing too much length. Jaycob absolutely delivered. Kris is the only barber I have had a cut from at the circle barber lounge and that is because she is amazing with her clients. Although I will say from my time in the shop it seems like everybody is good at what they do. Kris takes the time to make sure that your cut looks great while engaging with her client. When I factor in the entire experience in I can easily say that Kris's chair is the best cut and customer focused barber I have encountered. I wish I lived closer so Kris could be my consistent barber but I still stop in whenever I can. read more

Kris is the best barber I've ever had! She is detail oriented, kind, and multi-talented. I usually get a shadow fade with a bald taper and have her blend my beard.
