This place is ran really poorly tho more trainging is needed especially by their manager, Chad is rude and wants to argue with you about showing proof that you got financing in which you have already showed him and also claims he's gonna pay off your equipment in a timely manner which we are past a 10 day payout and it's still not paid off it has been over two weeks.Chad tries to flex he's been working in the powersports Business for over 30 years. He had me fool because he looks like a dang rookie .The dealership never has parts in stock instead of buying a service kit where you can save money, you have to buy the parts individual. The light bar that they put on my side by side wasnt even new it was the that was displayed on their wall of all the light bars near parts but still charge me full price . My new side-by-side came to me extremely dirty and not wash.POLARIS was doing OEM COUPON for Cab accessories, or dealer install which I didnt get the credit and is causing me to lose out on $150 to $200 bucks.Wish I would of bought from a more competent dealership. read more

The service department is horrible. The entire service department (most importantly the service manager) should be FIRED. This place will jump through hoops to sell you a motorycle, but if you need parts of service forget it. I've been to this place three times after buying my bike. I call, they say they have the part, I drive there and then I'm told they don't have the part. This happened twice. The third time I called to get service, they tell me to bring my bike in on a Friday. I get there and I'm told I'm not in the system. So again, I have to leave without getting the service I need. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND GABLE MOTORSPORTS OF WESLEY CHAPEL. I'm actually going to sell my Honda Goldwing and go back to Harley Davidson. This place truly sucks. read more

Getting a brand new 2024 Gold Wing DCT should have be a great experience For both, the buyer and seller. Even more if the bike is paid right off on the spot. The product was excellent. Although, service and consumer service from the sales manager was not what it should be. Very costumer care unpleasant. Salesman was nice and polite. But manager absolutely the opposite. They are not straight forward with their pricing. We were ready to buy with a draft in hand, and they agreed to the price on the Internet. When we were about to buy the motorcycle, they were going to add on crazy, excessive fees...they were not upfront about anything and I got a really bad vibe about this dealership. They are decieving about the hidden fees. If we bought the motorcycle, we would spend 25% of the price on fees. Very deceiving and the salesman seemed very unprofessional and even called when we left the dealership. Instead of trying to save the deal or explain, he was argumentative and even admitted he was stuck at this dealership and acknowledged that he works at not the greatest place. read more

First off they did a good job replacing my air cleaner in my goldwing but 21.50 for shop supplies when I supplied the air cleaner and then they charge 7.50 to to bring my bike to the back to do the repair and to bring it back up front. When I showed up in the mourning I drove it towards the back since I saw the Honda service sign in the back and got yelled at for doing so and it was my first time there for service. They did get the bike done in the same day which was nice but it's only listed for 1.2 hrs to replace. read more

Very disappointing. I live in St Pete and was looking for a specific model which this dealer said they had in stock. I drove 50 minutes and arrived when they opened at 9am. I walked around the showroom but it wasn't there. I asked the salesman (who didn't even have the manners to standup from behind his massive desk to greet me) and he said they haven't had that model for several weeks and were not expecting any more any time soon. So I got back in my car and drove 50 minutes home. I hate when a business pull this kind of stuff... old school sales tactic of get the person to come in and sell them something else. Well in today's economy when most customers research the product in advance and already know what they want this tactic is even more offensive. I literally had the cash in my pocket but couldn't get what I wanted / they said they had. I've owned a lot of motorcycles in my life and dealt with a lot of dealers. Some good and some not so good. My experience with this business puts them at the bottom. Time is my most valuable commodity and I will not give this business a chance to waste more of mine ink the future. read more

These guys wouldn't give me the time of day. I asked for an appraisal on my trade in and they told me it was worth nothing at all and that they didn't want it. Mind you I bought the bike new from them ( when they were reputable as performance honda) two years ago. I decided instead to go to Tampa Bay Powersports where I was given $4500 for my trade and a better out the door price on the new bike. Those guys will have my business from now on. Gables has RAPIDLY gone down hill since the loss of key employees Jonah, Ryan, and Anthony. Vicky in parts is great, but everyone else is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Do yourself a favor and go up a couple of exits to TBM. Had issue with my rear tire for our scooter. Walked right in and was able to speak with Efrain. He seemed very knowledgeable and was able to give me a price and set expectations. He did let me know the due to the amount of current work, that my tire may not get looked at until tomorrow. This was fine. A few hours later, I got a call and was told it was ready to pick up. This was great news and better than the original promise date. The price was the same that he gave me when I dropped it off. My first time at this location, very nice and well kept inside. read more

I was looking for a place to get my motorcycle serviced and they were extremely helpful. The guys at the front desk were very friendly and got me in and out in no time. They are extremely knowledgeable about motorcycle and you can tell as they explain to customers what's going on with their bikes. Luckily I didn't have any issues just an oil change but I overheard others who were there. They did a great job and took care of my motorcycle. Will definitely come back to them if I need any further service, or if anything goes wrong with my bike. read more

Bought a new boat from them, stored on high and dry since purchased, seen water maybe a dozen times, always meticulously cleaned. Detailed often. Got stuck on island last time took out as trim motor went out. Have Platinum warranty and service refused to even file a claim, states it was due to "corrosion" even though there is no sign of corrosion on any part of the engine, motor, boat besides the trim motor. Somethings can be understood, and yes corrosion is excluded when it is due to negligence, but I've only been there twice once to buy it where they were extremely professional and happy to take nearly 60k from me, then this time when they don't make any effort to help. Sorry to say that I will not be supporting this business with any more purchases or service. They are great to buy from, just don't expect any service after that, and apparently you should avoid buying any type of service/extended warranties as they won't be honored. I really wish they did better, I am usually a big supporter of local businesses. read more

Because it's like dealing with mental midget children. I walked in gave instructions on what needed to be fixed as well as an entire overlook of my bike telling them it was overheating and the fan wasn't kicking on. I told them whatever was wrong, fix and tell me what I owe. $1309.16 plus $50 delivery. They did a  sevice and I paid to have them delivered to my house. They dropped it off in the barn as I requested except they left the key in and never closed the doors to the barn. I only knew they dropped it off because my daughter saw them leaving. They never knocked on the door and I got no receipt. When I got home I made it 2 miles down the road and had a massive overheat because they did a service but never inspected why I was overheating as I requested. When I showed back up to find out why they didn't do as I asked, they never wrote down my request about the overheating. I requested to talk to the service manager who magically disappeared when I showed up. I requested a call from him which I never got as well. Don't walk, run.. read more

I called to ask about getting a yearly service done on my generator. The person I spoke with let me know when I could bring it in and he gave me an estimated price . A week later I brought my generator in and the staff was very professional and friendly. They answered all of my questions and I left there paying about $250 less than what I was quoted. I brought it in at 9am and they called me around 3 that it was all done!! My generator was attached to my trailer so the guy had to bring my trailer back out. He hitched everything up realized my Jack was needing some wd40 he told me to hold on a sec and he went and got some and fixed the stiffness of the Jack. I was impressed with the service and the friendliness of everyone working there. I will be back in a year for yearly maintenance!! read more

There is a Honda Dealership closer to my house (Tampa Bay Powersports) but decided to drive the 40 minutes to this location because one time my wife and I went in and the gentleman that greeted us was able to answer every question we had, so decided to take my business here from now on in the future because of the great customer service. Took my TRX450R in on Friday afternoon (06/10/16), was told I would have a call by Saturday 5pm with an estimated repair cost, etc. Called around 2pm-3pm Saturday (06/11/16) and was told they were short staffed and that the service manager would look at my bike next and that I would receive a call at 5pm. 5:45pm Saturday 06/11/16: Did not receive a call so I called and again was told that they were not able to look at the bike and would get a call on Monday (today). I told them from the beginning that I am very patient and that there's no rush, however the expectations that they are setting is not being met so far. 8:00am Monday 06/13/16: No call received. 10:16am Tuesday 06/14/16: Called, spoke with the gentleman and told me that to call back in an hour to get better info. Told him that I was tired of being given the excuse, that I told him from the beginning that I'm very patient but to give me a realistic time frame. 12:40am Tuesday 06/14/16: Called back, spoke with same gentleman and was told the kit wasn't on this shipment this morning and that it should come in around 3pm and that he would give me a call tomorrow. I asked him that if he really is going to give me a call or if it's like previous times where I don't hear from him. 1:30pm Tuesday 06/14/16: Received call from service manager, explaining the delay and was apologetic. After speaking with him I feel that this will turn into a positive review. Just the fact that he acknowledged the issue is an important factor in my book. He advised that I will get a call sometime tomorrow morning with a estimate total and more information. Will update this review as the days go on to provide a fair and accurate review. read more

I needed a rear tire installed on my bike so brought the tire and bike to this location... When I first walked in I could see the workers were sitting down having lunch but upon seeing me one of them promptly got up and was ready to assist me... I told the worker what I needed... he was pleasant and said "no problem". After entering my info into the system he said he would call me when the bike was done... To my surprise within an hour I received a call saying the bike was ready for pick up... The price for the tire install was slightly more than I was expecting to pay but the overall experience was smooth and hassle free... the worker said he even tightened my chain for me... I am anticipating this to be my shop of choice moving forward and as long as my experience here continues to be as smooth as my first, I would definitely recommend coming here. read more

We stopped in on 3/15/21 to purchase a boat and the equipment to go along with the boat to be safe. We walked around and looked at every boat they had then went inside. We had been there for about 20 minutes before going inside ave looking around. I told the wife this place is beyond the best joke I have seen as not one soul spoke to us or greeted us. It was like they were all in Trans or too busy on their phones or youtube. Not one soul said anything. So we left without buying a boat or anything and will never return there even if it was the last place on earth and they were giving away free boats and motorsports. My father took our brand new boat with a out of the box Honda 20 hp boat motor in for what we thought was a warranty issue. After an "adjustment" they charged him $160. Took the boat back for same issue after one trip out and this time it was "fuel and carburetor issue". They told him it ran smooth again. He asked to show him and it wouldn't crank! Horrible customer service. VERY unprofessional !!! If the rest of the place is like the parts department they won't stay in business for long. The guy behind the counter was sitting with his back against the wall. The guy I was talking to had his elbow on the counter and his chin in his hand (Manager). Neither smiled nor seemed to care if they helped me or not. I took in a carburetor and asked if they could put a kit in it for me. He told me if they couldn't do ALL the work they wasn't going to do any. Meaning take the carb off, rebuild it and put it back on. I told the guy I was not concerned with him warranting the work I just wanted the right kit in it and the work done by a professional. He refused unapologetically, uncaringly and simply did not want to discusses it any longer. He was unconcerned that I had no way to get it there and had the carb in my hand. When I asked to speak to a manager he said "I am a manager". Imagine that!! These guys could care less about there customers all they want is to squeeze out as much $$$ as they possibly can from anyone that walks thru that door. I wouldn't recommend anyone to waste their time with these guys. I could only imagine buying a bike or boat from them and trying to get it serviced. Beware before having your bike service at this dealership. The make promises and can't deliver. They had more excuses why work was completed when they promised. My bike was in for smoke and heat damage due to a fire in my garage. They were to replace the saddle bags - they only replaced one. However, the one they did replaced wasn't new - it was used. Now that I have paid my bill, you can't get anyone to call you back (Service Manager or General Manager). Had to write a letter to owner. If unable to get satisfaction from him, the next step will be small claims court. read more

Took my bike in a little under 5 weeks ago due to it not starting. Dropped it off about 1 in the morning at gables. I called 9 am the next day and explained what happened and that I needed it fixed. They ensured me it would be taken care of and they would call me back in about an hour. The entire day goes by and I call them back around 5:30 to find out that they haven't touched my bike yet and I was told it was just now getting plugged in to charge and I would get a call in the morning wIth a diagnosis. The following day I received no call. Another day passed and I decided to call them back. They tell me that my regulator/rectifier has gone bad and I needed a new one. I told them to order the part. A week has now gone by and I received a phone call from gables. I'm excited to hear that my bike is ready but that's not the case. They tell me that my stator is also bad. I told them to order that part as well. 3 days later I called to check on my part status. They told me they received the part but it was wrong. I was told they would be expiditing the correct part. 2 days later they called and told me that the seal for the stator came in but not the stator itself. We're now 3 weeks into this process and no progress has been made. A few more days pass and I got a call saying the parts were in and it needed another 24 hours and it should be ready. That 24 hours turned into 2 days. I'm now 4 weeks in. I got another phone call around 5:30pm saying my bike will be ready for pickup the following morning by 10:30. I showed up to gables at 10:30 that morning. Excited to have my bike back, I paid my 500$ bill for the parts and service. I was told to give them 20-30 minutes and it Will be ready to ride off the lot. I went to lunch across the street. 30 minutes pass and they call me back. I'm excited for the news that my bike is ready, but once again that's not the case. Instead, they inform me my bike is improperly charging. They told me it was charging at 11.9v. I quickly found out that 11.9 v means the battery is NOT charging at all, not undercharging like they claimed. They told me to wait till the end of the day and they will tell me what had happened. I got no call back. I went home very discouraged. The next day, I called them back, they told me they DID NOT KNOW what was the issue with the bike and they were going to reach out to Kawasaki for answers. I didn't know I was paying somebody to call around and ask questions to other businesses, I can do that on my own time. 2 more days pass. I'm now 500$ and 5 weeks into this process. Come to find out they still have not called Kawasaki. I went to them in person and requested my keys and my bike and I had a buddy tow it off the lot tO a different location. I gave 5 weeks of my time and 500$ for a bike that still does not run. I will not be returning to gables and I advise others who need bike work done to find a different mechanic. read more

On May 15th 2018 I dropped of my bike for service. I was told that they would call me within four days with an estimate. Time passed no one ever called. When I called for the status of my bike I was always given different excuses. They stated that they were short of staff and had a backlog. On may 31st I went in person spoke to the service manager Andy Perez for an update. He stated that it would be another two or three days before they could even start to evaluate my bike to give me a repair estimate. I asked him why is it taking so long, he was honest to say the the dealer's owner priority at this time are the "SLINGSHOTS" since they are selling like hot cakes the dealer's OWNER HAS ALL THE TECHNICIANS working on getting the Slingshots ready for delivery and unfortunately those who take there motorcycles for service a placed on the back burner service work taking four time five weeks. Well that is unexceptionable for me I picked up my bike and took it to a private shop for service. Will never again do business with Gables Motorsporsts & Marine. The staff over there are great and were very patient with me when I asked many many questions about the bike and gear and what not.
