Came here for the AYCE lunch on Christmas Eve recently to catch up with some friends. But since it was Christmas Eve, most of us had dinner plans so we opted for the basic KBBQ AYCE option. It was solid but nothing special

Galbi (or Kalbi) is a popular Korean dish of grilled, marinated ribs, with "galbi" meaning "rib" in Korean. Imagine our surprise when we came here for lunch and galbi/kalbi was not offered on their lunch menu. What!? The AYCE lunch KBBQ option is $22 but you can add-on the AYCE hot pot part for $5 more. The whole table has to agree whichever option. And since majority of our table had holiday dinners later on in the day (we went on Christmas Eve), we only did the KBBQ part. Options were limited, as their lunch menu is obviously more abbreviated, and quality was okay. I like that they have a salad, dessert and sauce bar you can help yourself to. You order with a server and a kitty cat robot brings you your food. I'm not really big on AYCE places in general since I'm not a big eater but at $22, you really can't complain.

Amazing AYCE BBQ and Hotpot spot!! Absolutely love the neon lighting and fun atmosphere. Honestly have been looking for a place like this for awhile. Prices are super fair, and the selection of available meats and seafood are top tier. Service was great and I loved how the establishment was laid out. We will definitely be repeat customers!

This was our first visit to Galbi BBQ & Hotpot, and we had a great time! We each ordered the hotpot and Korean BBQ Combo for $35 per person, and WOW, it was well worth it!! You can order a ton of different starters like fried chicken, gozya, popcorn chicken, shrimp tempura, rice, and several other items, with four different meats of your choice each time. They also have a large selection of sides. Our server was awesome, and the little robot that brings out the meat is adorable. There are a ton of neon lights, and the whole experience is fun! Definitely check them out, but I would recommend making a reservation as they get really busy in the evenings. Oh, and they are closed on Tuesdays.

First time visiting and definitely enjoyed have the options for both hot pot and Korean BBQ. I do feel like they didn't have everything I usually like for my hot pot available as options. Not sure if they were out that day or just don't have them available but overall the broths were good and they had a good variety of meats. They have a little robot that comes to you with your meats which can be a little confusing if there's multiple tables' orders but otherwise had a good experience.

We only did kbbq and not the hot pot. Pros: 1.) Aesthetic is fun with all the neon signs. 2.) There were a lot of options for making your own dipping sauces. 3.). The finger short rib & beef short ribs were good & flavorful. Cons: 1.) when we 1st walked in, the place was pretty empty but you still have to "sign in" into the kiosk even though there was a lady ignoring you behind the counter then she sat us. 2.) The "self serve" cold buffet area was mainly for hot pot, very few options for banchan for kbbq. They didn't even have Japchae but there was seaweed salad & squid salad that you normally see at buffets next to the sushi bar. 3.) Our waiter was not very attentive, he came by to ask if we wanted to order again for meats but didn't even clear out the dirty dishes from the previous raw meats that was piled up on the table. 4.). Meat options were okay, I didn't care for the marinade that was on the spicy garlic pork belly, it had way too much garlic . IMO this is more for hot pot vs kbbq and the flavored meats/meat option just wasn't satisfying to me.

Update : We went tonight again for my mom's birthday. I brought my 2 kids this time around. Unfortunately was very disappointed that we didn't get to stay and have dinner. They wanted to charge my 7 and 8 year olds adult price because of their height ! That's ridiculous. Just because of their height you think they can eat like an adult at 7 and 8?! My kids are not big eaters to begin with. So if you bring Kids, if they are taller than 4'8" they will be charged adult price at $30/pp!!

Went to try this out with family because who doesn't want hotpot AND KBBQ all in one go? Of course, I'd suggest you go if you have a BIG appetite because you do get quite full and you have many meat options to choose from. Before I moved to AZ, we had a place that offered KBBQ, sushi and hotpot.. which was definitely a triple threat LOL so to see something similar in AZ made my heart happy. The good: The prices are great. The place is buffet-style-- you order the good cuts of meat (beef/pork) on the menu but you also have some seafood to choose from in the buffet area that you can either put into your hotpot or on the grill. The services are GREAT, staff is very attentive, the place is beautiful with plenty of seating. You get dessert options too that you would usually find in buffets but thought it was cool this place offered mochi~! The bad: The food really isn't that great, in my opinion as a lot things are bland. Compared to KBBQ places like Manna, I would prefer to get the meat from Manna than here. This is also one of the few KBBQ places that offer rice paper (which I love) but they were stale/previously frozen... or not steamed well? It definitely was not chewy and rather stiff.

Came here twice and had completely different experiences. First time, service was amazing!! Food was delicious. Server was super attentive on a busy Friday night. We loved the variety of options where you get to select the meats you want at the buffet stations or order from the menu. We loved it so much we wanted to show others how amazing this place is. You can do either hot pot or kbbq. If you pay $5 more, you can do both. Honestly doing both was a fun variety, but it was just so much going on. I would say one would be best. Only thing is the whole table needs to do the same option. Second time, service was terrible. We waited for a very very very long time for them to even bring our soups for hot pot. We had to ask for water and napkins multiple times. They forgot our meat order a few times, not just once. The meat came out with lots of bones and not much meat and some meats were super chewy. We will probably give this place a try again for the variety of options. Clean restaurant. The booths were a bit tight though.

Tried this place today for the first time. 2 adults, 2 young kids = $75 (30/p + $15 child 40-50inches, under 40 inch free). We were able to select a pot of broth each (each adult). We chose the beef broth. Very flavorful and seems to have been made with bone broth - very oily (but in a good way). The soup smelled like grandmas home cooking - fresh, fragrant, and wholesome). We chose only hot pot today, and I was not happy with the meat. The beef disintegrated after 15-20 seconds in the broth, tasting like freezer burned low quality beef. I avoided the meat, but was pleasantly surprised by the vast range of options at the self-serve bar. There were more options than my eyes could handle. There were also included desserts! The appetizers were unlimited and the popcorn chicken was fresh and hand breaded, not frozen. Service was friendly and kind. Ambiance was WOW. If you are looking to impress friends or family with a place to dine out, you'll want to try this place. Beware! Person in our group has a tree nut allergy, and signs ask you to advise your server/restaurant staff, but they were unhelpful and said it was best just to avoid all the desserts and the broth for the hotpot. Parents: there is no baby changing station in the restroom. I saw a lady struggling with her baby, with no baby changing table in the women's restroom.

Arrived here around 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon and got a table for 6. The entire party has to be present to be seated. The place used to be CFu Restaurant. The place is big, has plenty of tables and is filled with neon lights along the wall. A 6 person table here seemed bigger than the other kbbqp/hot pot place I went to last week. Personally, I liked that we could go grab our own veggies/seafood on our own plate rather than having to order off a tablet/through a person. This way we can pile on as much as we want. The only things we order through the waiter are drinks, appetizer, and meats. They do have a big selection of marinated meats that you can grab but I didn't try any of those though. I mostly ate chuck eye roll for hot pot. I ordered the Thai tom yum (spicy level: extra spicy). For me, it wasn't spicy but the tom yum flavor here is better than the other place I went to. I brought my hot drops and added that to both my broth and dipping sauce. I also liked the beef broth flavor. Not a big miso broth person but that wasn't bad. Meat quality was okay to me but I mainly only ate 1 kind. Had a few pieces of beef belly but I don't really like that cuz it's more fatty. Kimchi here was better than the other place. Sauce bar wasn't bad but they didn't have any green onion. Thai tea wasn't bad but was a little too creamy. Our waiter was great and checked on us often. For both hot pot and kbbq, price is $35 which is a good deal for both! FYI- I'm a bit biased when it comes to many AYCE kbbq place because I prefer non-AYCE kbbq place. So, you might like it more!

Dare I say this might be the best KBBQ + HotPot place I've ever been to? And I've been to A LOT! There is plenty of parking in front, and it was very easy to find the restaurant. We came here as a party of 2 on a Sunday around 5 PM, and we were seated immediately. The service here was amazing! Our server approached our table as we were seated, and we were able to order our first round. At this restaurant, you can choose either KBBQ or hotpot for $30 during dinner time, or if you want both, you'll pay an extra $5/person. Everyone at the table must pay the extra $5. There are some higher quality meats that you order with your server for both KBBQ and hot pot, and the rest of the meats/toppings are all self serve. This restaurant offers pretty much anything and everything you could ever need for KBBQ and hot pot. I've never seen a restaurant that had so many options! They even have a dessert section and a cooler full of to-go ice cream that you can take home if you're too full to eat it after your meal. Everything was delicious and I didn't even have enough room in my tummy to try everything. Service was amazing also, we were checked up on multiple times throughout our dinner. With this place being open for only 1.5 months, they're doing an incredible job.

Came here on a Wednesday evening and was seated right away. The floors are sticky, so definitely be careful walking to get your sauces and vegetables and meat. We opted to do both bbq and hotpot as it was just an additional $5. ($30 for kbbq, $35 for both kbbq and hotpot). They did have a wide selection of sauces, which i liked. However, they didn't have the typical ssamjang or brisket sauce so that was disappointing. As for the kbbq meats, the galbi and pork cheek were really tasty and i was glad to see that they didn't have a limit of the galbi as most other AYCE places have. I do not recommend the ribeye steak. It came frozen and it was not tasty. The quality of the meat isn't the best. It's way better at Jin Shabu. However, the best part of doing both bbq and hotpot is that while you're waiting for your meat to grill, you can enjoy your hotpot on the side. For the soup base, i got the Japanese miso. I was disappointed that they didn't have sukiyaki. It does get super loud inside with all the music and if it's someone's birthday, they bring a lit up sign and a group of servers will come dance and sing. It's like a nightclub in there and a bit dark. Too loud, IMO.

After looking at the receipt again I was irritated by the insane cost of the worst ribs ever. $63 for a rack of babyback ribs is the highest in town. Most places get $32 to $38 a rack. I admit that I made the mistake of going here, but never again! My efforts to try their smoked prime rib was a worthless journey. I call about 10 times looking for medium rare prime rib, and they never had it. They didn't have it the day they told me they did. I asked for a pound and a half of prime rib, and I got 3/4 that was only slightly pink in the very center. It was cold and had no aju, and no juice whatsoever in the meat! There wasn't even much smoke flavor at all. Worst prime rib ever! There's much better BBQ around for much less money!
