I ordered a chicken Marsala to go and it was listed as $25 on the menu and the spaghetti came with the meal and they charged me $3 dollars extra for the Marsala sauce that comes with the dish, I ordered marsala and Marsala comes with Marsala sauce right??!!! I didn't order additional red or any other sauce and I didn't order anything else. The spaghetti was dry. Had no sauce on it at all very disappointed. I went up back up to The Galleria & spoke about the the $3 dollar extra up charge on a meal which is ridiculous (it's never happened to me in any restaurant). I've never had been charged $3 dollars for the sauce that they're using to put on your dish. They didn't even notify me that they were going to charge me extra $3 till after I paid the bill. Deceptive 100%. I'd never gotten notified. I just paid for it and then realized after I got the receipt that something was very wrong . It also did not taste like Chicken Marsala but tasted like Hungarian goulash close to what my mom made years ago. I didn't order red sauce. It's a rip off and I called him on it and he gave me back my $3 dollars. Be careful because they're probably doing this to a lot of people if you order chicken marsala or anything with red sauce and there's marsala sauce in it that should not be an up charge so very disappointed and I'm not really sure if I'm gonna go back there anymore and order food. So for that meal was $29.33 with nothing extra on takeout, Unbelievable!! They probably are charging extra for red sauce. If you ask for red sauce, which should come with the dish, Also if you order pizza Sicilian or regular the pizza has been burnt crust and bottom if you like it that way then you are good, if not ask for it less well done. As for as the upchsrhe for sauce which is what you ordered your dish for, I've never had a restaurant do that and that's gonna be in the back of my mind from now on I won't go there. read more

Food was tasty. However, this place would work better as take out only, as their staff is not properly trained on restaurant etiquette. First of all, the cutlery placed on the table was partially wet, not wrapped in napkins and placed directly on the dirty menus. We requested a cup of hot water to sanitize the cutlery. We had to ask about the water 4 times before it arrived. It arrived after the main dishes were served. We also heard the table next to us requesting cutlery after their food was served. We ordered 2 appetizers and the main courses came out first. We were half way through our main dishes when the first appetizer came. We finished our main dishes and the second appetizer never arrived. We had to cancel it. My husband asked for napkins and the waiter brought 2 for him only. We were a table of 5. We had to specify that we needed napkins for the entire table. They need to work on customer service and invest in training their staff, otherwise they will lose business. read more

We ordered a pasta and sausage and got meatballs instead and paid $14 for a large Caesar salad which was either a small or the smallest large I've ever see. Side of ordered spaghetti came with spaghetti and some ziti in the same bowl. Used to come with string beans as a side as well but now that is an up charge. What a great vodka slice! Some of these slices looked like works of art, like the one with the big mozzarella ball. Also, I love that they are using the pepperoni that cups itself therefore making it nice and crispy!! This is our local go to Italian spot for take out, but tonight was our first time dining in and i must say the hospitality and food was amazing. I saw the new menu items on instagram from devour power showing off the Spicy Rigatoni with Breaded Chicken Cutlet and a Burrata on top drizzled with Honey, and babyyyyyyyyy it was the bomb. We also had the Scarpariello Wings which was delicious and a wonderful Caesar Salad. Since the father, Tommy, passed away and the son has taken control of Galleria it is definitely not the same. They have kids working there as servers and are clueless. While otter restaurants have switched over completely, except regular pizza, to fresh mozzarella for there dinners he is still using commercial mozzarella. The renovations look great but the quality is not there. The sauce has become acidic and lost the smooth traditional tomato taste. This place is amazing. I drive 45 minutes to get food from here. The pizza and pasta are all incredible.

I'd passed Galleria many times and finally stopped in a few nights ago. to say it was disappointing is an understatement. When I asked of they had any mushroom slices, I was told no, but they could add some to two plain slices. I said fine thinking they'd put them on the slices as they were reheated in the oven. instead, they just took some raw mushrooms and threw them on top when the slices came out. Then I asked for Come and was told that of the five flavors in the dispenser, they were out of Coke. all they had was Diet Coke (yecch), Sprite and something else. The pizza was OK, not awful but not even close to the level of Umberto's in New Hyde Park. The worst thing was that every table in the place was dirty. Each one I tried to sit at looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. I went with the least filthy option. This place was overall pretty sucky. With all the pizzerias on Long Island, there are dozens of better options. I will continue to just pass by this place in the future. read more

Ciro has experimented with a wide variety of innovative slices - as well as a fantastic selection of traditional menu staples. We were patiently waiting for our waiter to come and take our orders, and we understand how busy it was, but on the down side... he took that long to come over to us and tell us that if all we're going to buy is pizza then he has no time to look at what pizzas are available. I understand it was super busy but it takes two seconds to just look over to see. Me and my friend wanted a couple of pizzas for our order in the meantime however I was going to add something towards the middle of our stay and a possible dessert.
