My first-time experience for Hotel restaurant dining, didn't expect it's that good. When the 5-star service mixing with great-tasting food, it's an exceptional start for your enjoyable trip! Come here and you'll be greeted by lovely vibe of San Antonio from The St. Anthony! (Don't forget to reserve your spot ahead of time)

I was greeted with a smile and by last name for our breakfast reservation. I thought it was a nice attention to detail and unique that later into our dining experience the staff remembered my name when I was lost trying to find the restroom to direct me. I started with a latte and Ahi Tostada for my main meal and the Watermelon Salad to share. The Ahi Tostada was alright, but the chips were a little stale and the Ahi was fresh, but lacked flavor a bit. I think I wanted more spicy. The Watermelon Salad on the other hand was packed with flavor and paired exceptionally well with the arugula. The service was impeccable and I appreciated that they let us stay at our table for quite a long while as we held a meeting. The dining space itself is absolutely stunning. I love the green chairs and views out onto the park. Very tranquil ambiance. I'd check it out again!

Sadly, the most aesthetically pleasing dining experience at the St. Anthony was our most disappointing meal. However, due to my status at Marriott, we were granted a $40 credit for the meal. At $42 before tip, I cant complain too much. Our server whose name I know but won't disclose, seemed to be having a bad day. The restaurant was 3/4 empty but our coffee and OJ took nearly 10 minutes. My husband asked for cream when he ordered his coffee and again when the coffee arrived. 5 minutes later I took matters into my own hands. Another 5 minutes passed before our waitress brought a side of milk. The coffee was served from a water pitcher. It was barely warm from the second it was served. The food was good. It took longer than I would have expected given the low capacity of the restaurant. I noticed that the table next to us was very upset after they inquired on the status of their meal. I assume the same server forgot to put their order in. Someone from the kitchen graciously approached with an apology and a cinnamon role on the house. Perhaps we would try it again for lunch or dinner. I would be more upset if we had paid out of pocket for the meal. However, with the cost of the hotel room, we technically did pay for it.

I don't like giving bad reviews... but this was so underwhelming especially for it being in a luxury hotel. Once we ordered, it took almost 45 min for our food to come out. When it did, the portions were small and the prices were high. My husbands dish lacked flavor. The poached eggs on my benedict were way over cooked. The yolk was completely hard. It also had no flavor. I would walk a block over to la panaderia for breakfast if you're staying at the st anthony.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant with mediocre food and service. Visited for brunch and ordered some drinks and the eggs benedict plate. The drinks were good but took a very long time to come out, and it looked like it wasn't busy. The food also took a while to come to the table. The natural lighting with tall windows definitely made the experience better! It was beautiful to look out at Travis park and the beautiful indoor decor around

The food was okay, but it was definitely food I could've made at home with more seasoning. Service was decent, depends on who you get. The tables and chairs were very close to each other, so not the best for personal conversation. The pancakes weren't great but it was okay. The best thing we ordered was the orange juice.

It was a sweet surprise finding this gem after a Health and Wellness Expo spent in Travis Park as a vendor! Came famished and the place was elegant, we were served well and the staff was nice even when we felt we were not dressed appropriately! We had brunch and the food was delish. A pride in San Antonio! Recommended!

Small breakfast and brunch restaurant in the St. Anthony Hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The service is very good and even asked if we want any coffee to go. We liked the food and enjoyed The Duke burger and fries, Brisket Eggs Benedict (with jalapeño biscuit), salads, and cinnamon roll. We love the ambience and the nice big windows with a park view.

While staying at the St Anthony we stopped in here for breakfast one morning. We were quick to be greeted and seated, but once seated, it took about 15 mins for our server to greet us, which gave us more than ample time to review the menu. She apologized, saying that she didn't know we were seated, oh well. They have a typical menu for the area, from basic items to biscuits & gravy to a Mexican breakfast. Coffee was good. The biscuits and gravy were really good. The avocado toast was bland and wasn't plated to look very appetizing. Overall, it's not bad for a "hotel breakfast" but with La Panaderia next door, that would be my preferred breakfast joint.

We were staying at the St. Anthony and was given a breakfast credit so we ate here. The area is nice and you have a direct view of Travis Park across the street. It's honestly not bad, but definitely not that great either, they pretty much only exist because they are connected to the hotel. I got the food for free, but I would've been a little annoyed if I actually paid for it.

Steak frites at the Gallery at the Park restaurant at the St. Anthony Hotel

An elegant perch to eat breakfast or lunches with views of the luxurious lobby of the St. Anthony Hotel and lively Travis Park. We visited for lunch, and there was a jazz festival underway at the park. The Gallery is also open for breakfast now, and may start dinner service soon. The St. Anthony is a historic hotel that looks better than ever. The Gallery is in a long, narrow room with north-facing arched windows. Between the arches are paintings for sale from the Felder Gallery. The lunch menu has classic takes on salads, chicken, fish, etc. The drink menu includes a protein shake. We chose the steak frites and the hamburger, and both were excellent. The burger is comparable to the ones at top local steakhouses. We also enjoyed the fries, which were dusted with flaky salt and chopped fresh herbs. We finished with a chocolate-espresso cake that was rich and satisfying. A nice feature of the St. Anthony Hotel is the free valet parking. Just drive eastbound on Travis and pull up to the valet stand. Parking is available for diners at the Gallery, Rebelle, and Haunt, so add at stop to your evening itinerary.

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I ordered the veal Schnitzel with mushroom gravy (Jägerschnitzel) and red cabbage. The red cabbage was also very undercooked and completely lacked flavor. Overall, I personally did not find the food authentic or representative of true German cooking. What truly saved this experience was the outstanding customer service. Our server, Joseph, was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the meal. I also greatly appreciated Mr. Adam, the kitchen manager, who personally came out to discuss my concerns. They offered no other accommodation or help. Not worth it. Very uncomfortable and upset because this will ruin our vacation. Edit: 1 to 3 stars.
