Complete waste of my time. New 2026 models, 4-cylinder are going for 31k. Explain to me why 60k would ever make sense. Bait/switch, pricing was never clarified over the phone. For starters I am truly sad I'm having such a horrible experience with this new lease we have been a galpin family for over 30 years. This last experience has been traumatizing. I leased a 2020 Ford edge in July of 2020. When we purchase the vehicle it took days for us to receive because of an issue with the hood. The first drive off the lot the vehicle smelled as if something was burning. I called the dealer and was informed that this was normal because breakes were new. The vehicle also smelled like gas and still does to this day. Gas pump always has issues. Trunk door never latches properly Bluetooth when answering calls never works we are unable to hear caller. Since I believe it was April of this year 2022 I've been terrified of driving my vehicle. This due to my first system failure incident i was on the freeway during rush hour whe the 2020 ford edge died on the freeway everything locked after about 5 mins I was able to turn car back on. I thank God traffic was bumper to bumper if not I would have forsure been rear ended. Last night 09/18/2022 my husband, my 5 year old, my one year old and my 5 month pregnant self were driving home on the freeway when suddenly and alert comes up on the dashboard and radio screen that read "system failure reboot " then all the lights inside the car went black. The radio screen read vehicle network communications error The speedometer and all other dashboard items dropped to 0 The windows didn't have power The ac didn't turn on Wipers wouldn't turn on Blinkers wouldn't turn on Car was still mobile so I continued driving about 20 mins to out home exit. It was getting really stuffy in the car and all the windows were foggy but there was no way of opening a window or turning on the ac. Once off the freeway at our first red light the car completely locked.The shift circle moved to park and locked but the dash board still marked car in drive. The interior ceiling lights were the only working light and the radio also worked. Everything was completely locked car would not start. I couldn't push down on the break. The start button felt locked and to top it all off the emergency lights wouldn't turn on. I was terrified of being rear ended by the on coming traffic. My husband had to stand behind the vehicle and wave away the on coming traffic. A tow truck was driving by and when the driver saw my girls in the car he pulled iver to get us off the road. We called AAA when they arrived they tried putting car in neutral but shift circle was locked and not turnable. AAA then attempted to jump start the vehicle but vehicle was still locked and not responding. They towed the car to our home but the car is completely non responsive. We can't lock the vehicle its supposedly still on drive but the light on park is flashing. Honestly I'm done with this lease. Everyday I'm scared to drive this car, to take my girls to school to drive to work because of the fear of getting in an accident because of the car shutting down. Not only has this vehicle been a burden on my mental health but also financially. Both my husband and I had to miss work today to deal with this. I'm truly disappointed with this lease and I can't believe galpin would have such a damaged vehicle on their lot. read more

I was given an economy car but I'm a big guy and it just wouldn't work for an extended period. Oscar was sympathetic to my needs and was able to upgrade me to an SUV at no additional charge. Yesterday, I purchased 2021 Jaguar F-Type from Galpin dealer. Service was poor, sales person dishonest about the features and he had very little knowledge about the car. Time spent was 3.5 hours. Sales person promised 45 mins to an hour. They don't let you see the window sticker until you sign the contract and they will pressure you to pay extra for warranties that should be standard. No spare tire. No Bell or whistles. The rear safety camera is snowy not a clear picture. The ride is rough. 2 seater ; which means no truck space for anything. The seats are narrow and uncomfortable. The price represents the name only not the quality of the car... Don't buy this car and don't buy from this dealership. read more

I would not recommend this dealer. No ethics and follow through. Galping Volkswagen ran a Promo Offer for a free iPad over Presidents day weekend 2/15/20 to 2/17/20 if you were able to beat their price or buy from another dealer they would give you a free iPad. Turns out I beat their price and their General Manager was not able to beat the price I showed him from a competitor. The GM proceeded to foment that the competitor's price was too good to be true and that the competitor might be doing something irregular. Needless to say as a consumer I had to do my research and beat their best deal. Guess what, I beat the Galpin price and they have not responded. I called and left a voicemail to the GM, and dropped off a copy my purchase contract showing that I beat them. They have not responded, and I'm guessing they will not honor up their "free iPad" offer. Talk about no accountability for their "sales promotions." Highly discourage anyone from buying from them. This review is for galpin wholesale parts, long hold times and they never know where the part is. I hav been driving to galpin for many years for parts for the family business for about 12 years. Every single time I'm told I need to stop by the Orion warehouse my body goes into a "oh shit mode" and I cringe because 90% of the time they'll tell me they have the part and when I show up it's not there. It's like their wholesale parts is stuck in the 1990s pre computers. For being such a big dealer we customers expect and deserve correct information because time is money!! Used to be a great service center. Be careful. Bait and switch and overcharge. My husband went in with my 2012 Ford Fusion and was charged $97 for an oil change. My car has always used the synthetic blend - all they had to do was check my digital record. They put in synthetic which is not needed and much more expensive. He called and they gave a $30 credit but it should have been a $47 credit. I will never go there again. read more

Our car was totaled and we needed a new one ASAP. I bought my last 2 used cars from here and they were awesome with no problems. We actually went to another dealership first to get some perspective and the sales people were so horrible we left after 10 minutes. The difference here at Galpin, is the great sales staff. Victor Ramirez and David Samir got us a great deal and were so helpful. We never felt pushed or rushed and ENJOYED our car buying experience.
