So I went in here based off the amazing reviews on the amount of retro games this place carries and was a bit disappointed. I mean they have everything under the sun here, retro games, new games, consoles, computers, but most of it you can't even buy. For example: I was looking for some N64 controllers and was thrilled to see 4 in the glass case, all different colors! When I asked the price the guy behind the counter said they only have grey ones for sale.. I was like "what about these 4 right here?" And he told me they aren't for sale. Huh? I look closer and they have stickers on them that say "display only" or "not for sale" I look again and most of the appealing stuff in the cases have these same stickers.. Why display them if you aren't going to sell them? Also, I'm not sure which retro games people are most interested in but for me it's N64, and the glass cases have a shelf or two with N64 on them but no titles you'd really be looking for. Sadly, no Mario games, no Smash or Zelda games, and nothing fantastic in the game boy side either. No Pokemon titles, or Zelda there either. I drove 30 minutes to get to this place and I regret the decision. Live and learn :( read more

I'm thankful to have found this place! They fixed our water damaged nitendo 3ds at a fair and affordable price! A week ago, I accidentally washed my husband's nitendo 3ds in a blanket. We immediately tried to save it by putting it in the sun and drying it inside rice. We waited at least 4 days before attempting to turn it on. To my dismay, it never turned on. But, after calling a few places and getting recommended to try this place, Game Geeks offered a free check up and told us they would see about fixing it. If the price to fix it went above the price of the game system or if it was too damaged to fix, they promise to let us know. I was very skeptical that this could be fixed! However, after 3 days, Game Geeks notified us stating that the 3ds was fixed with all the memory even intact! It was pretty much a miracle and dream for both me and my husband! Thank you Game Geeks! I highly recommend you come here for any system or phone repairs. They even said they do computer repairs. The team and staff are very knowledgeable and good at what they do. This place is awesome! I took in my PS4 due to it over heating and damaging the system's bluetooth and wireless adapter, along with 2 controllers that had issues with the D-pad and headphone jack. They fixed it within a week and that's with them being pretty busy with all the systems they get per day. Once I came in to pick up my system, they explained to me everything that was damaged and how to prevent it from happening again, along with other ways to keep my system running smoothly. Their pricing is very fair and they really take the time to talk to you about your systems and show you at the store that your system is up and running well. I'll definitely be back to this place for maintenance, if I have any other issues with other consoles, or to buy some games for my older systems! read more

Alright, so my saga continues... I bring in my PS3 again to the store for warranty repairs. I speak with a tech named Jonathan. Thank God he spoke decent English. I explained my situation about the YLOD and he explained to me that, if the system shows symptoms of the YLOD after repairs, that generally it isn't repairable. I tell him ok, so what's the next step? He tells me that he will have to notify the store manager, write up his report, and request a full refund. He said that it would take a few days and that they would contact me if I was a GO for a refund. Fast forward to a few days later and I receive a text message(surprisingly) that I was granted a refund. I went back to the store a week later, just this past Saturday, and Jonathan swiped my card and issued a full refund. Although I was a bit frustrated with my experience with this establishment at first, a business that hold's up their end of the bargain is a-ok in my book. Since my PS3 is now partially dead, time to start shopping for a PS4. read more

My daughter has been talking about her old Spiro game for months now, about how she misses playing it etc. So I started with the big guys and called Gamestop they did not have any so they referred me to GameGeeks. I called and the guy that answered checked his computer and yes they had the game and the console in stock; yay me! I told them I would be in later that week to get it. Fast forward 2 months I go in to pick it up and hooray they still had what I needed. Joe was great, I tell him what I need and he starts getting everything together, we enjoy a little small talk as he finds an additional game that he thinks my daughter will like (Sonic) after I tell him we like cute things not scary things.
