The service, communication, and professionalism from Mark and the guys @ Garcia Windows is 2nd to NONE. We recently had our front window broken and where desperately looking for a company to replace in a timely manner. Not only was Mark able to get the glass we needed faster than ANY OTHER company here on yelp, he was able to do it a great price, and accommodated our schedule with fantastic communication throughout. This is the third time we have used Garcia's Windows and More (found them on Yelp). Mark came out today (Independence Day) to install a window that came in late yesterday. Most companies would have waited until a non-holiday to do so. He previously replaced a window pane for us and installed screens on all of our windows. Horrible follow through. I called to ask for a quote. Mark told me he could make it to my house in 3 days in the afternoon. He never showed up and never called to explain why. I finally called and left a message and texted him which prompted a call back from Mark. He apologized and set up a new day to come by. AGAIN he never showed up or called to explain why. After a couple of estimates and a lot of research, I finally decided to give Mark a call because of the many great reviews on yelp. I have to say that they are well deserved. After contacting Mark by email, I received a call within a couple of hours. We talked about what I needed, sent him a couple of pictures, and received a quote. Made the appointment with no issues, got windows measured for sun screens and got a resonable quote. I told the service guy that I would call him back to make an appt for installation. He left me the owners card with owner info on it. I called 2 times and left voice mails and even emailed and STILL have not gotten a response. So.. I am off to find another screen person. I had a cracked pane of glass in an old 1950's window. I had contacted another company who came out after I had explained there was a Security Grate over the window.They not only said they couldn't do it because of that, (when they did know this prior to coming) but they had forgotten putty....wow. So I tried again, looked on Yelp and found Garcia's Windows and More. I emailed them, they contacted me 20 minutes later. I then received a txt and sent pics, they gave me a quote that day. I finalized an appointment with them. They gave me good heads up with time, and arrived when stated. They were very knowledgeable, fast and friendly and answered all my questions. They worked around the Security Grate and did a fabulous job. I couldn't be happier. I will recommend them to anyone looking for professional, friendly, fast, glass repair. We recently purchased a home in South Mountain that had a broken window. I contacted Garcia's based on positive Yelp reviews. Mark Garcia, the owner, came right away and measured the broken window plus all our windows for a screen replacement quote, and while measuring he noted that the glass in a large picture window in our dining room was completely coming out of the frame. Somehow the home inspector missed this dangerous situation. The slightest monsoon wind and the window could have fallen out. Mark ended up replacing both windows at a very reasonable price. He kept us apprised of the status of our order and he always arrived on time. During the installation, he was meticulous with his work and we are very pleased with the end result. I had to work so let him into the condo and told him to lock up and depart through the garage door. He text me when he completed the job. He answered with a low/fair quote and was at my house the next morning to confirm thedimensions I had taken , clean up glass fragment debris AND remove the temporary cardboard I put up and installed a nice temporary single pane window while the dual pane permanent glass window was made up back at his shop !!! I would highly recommend Garcia's Windows & More! My daughter accidentally broke her bedroom window on Monday evening around 6:15 pm. I found Garcia's Windows & More online. He answered my call immediately, and although it was late, promised to come out and fix the window that night. The window was fixed before 8:30, cleaned up, and ready to go! Our house had a window broken in the middle of the night. I called and left a message for Mr. Garcia and he called me immediately at 7:00 when his business hours began the following morning. He had a full day but said that he would stop by after all of his other appointments if we were available. In the meantime, we did call around to other window companies and were unable to find any that were able to even come and look at the window within the following two days. Mr. Garcia ended up coming by that same evening (working a 14 hour work day). He got started on what he was able to right away. He ordered the glass and returned to install it a few days later, working until 7:00 pm. He was quick, professional, and very knowledgable about different types of glass. I am so disappointed. Like others on this site, we had a leak that popped up at my son's condo during one of the recent storms. We always want to support small, local businesses and chose to call Garcia's because of the positive ratings on Yelp. I had a good conversation with them on Monday and gave them my son's information so they could set up the time to come check out the windows on Saturday. When he hadn't heard anything by Friday, I assumed they got busy because of the storms, so I sent a reminder text and then left a voicemail that evening. I got no return text, no call back, nothing. It would have been perfectly fine if we needed to reschedule due to it being a busy week...but no call or return text is such a disappointment. It is unprofessional and just bad business, not the customer service I expected from all of the great reviews. I will start asking friends for references for others to help do the work. read more
