I was incredibly impressed by the various businesses that popped up here to make this market, especially the prepared food foods, and food trucks. Almost everything was represented and seemingly done really well, but I caught my eye had to be the Hawaiian specialties and the grilled skewers. Unfortunately, I had just eaten and wasn't in the mood for a bite, but I was totally tempted to try it anyways. There was a nice little selection of produce, but I also love seeing all of the local makers and packaged goods that work for sale. I ended up enjoying the chili, crisp and other chili based condiment that were made by a local lady and I also really love the San Diego Pepper Company, and purchase their hot sauce to take home as well. Point Loma in San Diego you are super lucky to have this little market in your community and you can't beat the location next to liberty market and all the great food and drink and shopping to be had there. I made almost an entire day out of wandering around this whole area and it was the farmers market got it all started.

Brian at the front counter was friendly and very helpful. He answered my questions and gave me suggestions. I decided on the pink 50/50 with spinach and cheese ravioli...everything tasted fresh and flavorful and was exactly what I was looking for. Flavor not salt! The texture of the ravioli was chewy and perfect, the sauce was mildly creamy/tomatoey with a good garlic essence. I would definitely order this again

(I can't believe I forgot to take a photo of it!) The portion size is generous and very tasty. Homemade pasta is such a nice treat & I think Pasta Design does a solid job. I added parmigiana cheese & red pepper flakes to my dish to enhance the mild yet smooth pesto flavor & there was just the right amount of sauce. The young employee who helped me was very nice and helpful. The pasta can get pricey depending on how many add-ins you choose, but for the base pasta & sauce, it is $12.99. My dish ended up being a little over $20 with the chicken, broccoli, tax & tip. There's time of indoor & outdoor seating in the market. There's also a full bar in the building and very nice bathrooms. There's also plenty of free parking in the many adjacent lots & street parking as well. Grazie!

The store carries products from some of my favorite local vendors that I usually only find at the farmers market, along with a great selection of unique drinks and specialty items. One of the highlights was trying the banana water, which was marked as an employee favorite, and now I can see why. Truly taste like a banana, very interesting. The store was well organized, fully stocked, and easy to browse. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. While some items are a bit pricier than what you'd find at a traditional grocery store, the quality and clean ingredients make it well worth the cost. It's a great place to discover healthier options and support local brands at the same time. They also offer a membership for just $15 per year, which seems like a great value if you plan to shop there regularly. I'll definitely be stopping by again!

This is our first time here and we're so happily surprised to find a variety of coffee beans that you can fill up your own bag to get a sample size of each! They also have pour your own maple syrup and honey. You can also make your own peanut butter and almond butter! Really cool, first time I've seen that! The store also offers a variety of fruits and vegetables and other produce items. We only explored the first floor I would want to go check out the second floor next time. We signed up as members the same day so I will definitely be returning!

Other than its sister store, Iowa Meat Farms, Tip Top Meats in Carlsbad (yes, they have returned), and the Wise Ox, also in Carlsbad, there are hardly any real butcher shops around. But these guys know what they are doing. Try their burgers and meatloaf. They are easy to cook at home. Try their steaks. You can get a legitimately excellent steak here for a fraction of what you would pay at a steakhouse and it will be BETTER than the steakhouse version. Make sure you ask the counter guys to season it for you before they wrap it up. Try their freshly-made sandwiches. Make sure you try their beans behind the deli counter. Their pimento dip in the refrigerated area is legendary and more addictive than crack (or so I have read). They have interesting sodas, craft beers, different mustards, El Indio chips, fresh breads, and a small but very well-curated wine selection. Is there anything they do not do well here? "No," is the answer to that question. They do everything well here. They have their own parking lot but it fills up quickly. There is not much other parking in the area. In the past, I have walked several blocks away in the residential neighborhood to get to the store when there is no parking available. And it was worth it.
