Big portions for the price and it's an easy meal to take to-go. The plates have pickled veggies and japchae. They also have sides such as spam musubi that we like. There are 3 tables with chairs for eating there.

Late lunch at this small food stall literally outside of a Home Depot by our house. Finally got to try it out today. I had the spicy chicken plate which wasn't really spicy for me. Chicken was cooked nicely and very flavorful. The side salad was fresh, japchae and fruits on the side was a great balance to the meal. The hubby had the beed plate which also had the same sides as mine. We shared both and the portion was big for us so we took home our leftovers. The lady who took our order was very nice and food came out fast too. Definitely coming back to try other things on their menu.

Such a hole in the wall, the plate is a perfect portion with a lot of meat for a great value! The owners are super nice too. A great spot to have lunch before doing my garden errands runs!

The spot is located on the premises of the Garden Grove Home Depot. They have three tables set up right by their spot with a total of seven chairs. The staff, which included a man and a woman were nice. I had the beef teriyaki bowl and I was surprised it was so delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection, the teriyaki sauce was not too rich in consistency or watery, and not overwhelmingly sweet, it was perfect. The rice had the perfect texture too. 5/5 I also had a corn dog and it was the first thing I ate. Hehe he, I was pretty hungry. It was indeed better than other corn dogs I've had. 3.5/5 I also witnessed a belligerent woman who was being so rude and disrespectful to the staff and the staff remained calm and very respectful after the woman was making all sorts of rude comments. Props to them for handling the situation with the utmost professionalism and respect despite the way they were being mistreated. Overall, I had a positive experience with some delicious beef teriyaki and I'll be going for more. If you have not visited them I highly recommend you do.

We ordered the chicken bowl, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful, and sliced into thin pieces. It came with the teriyaki sauce on the side. It's simple yet delicious. The lady running the place was super friendly. 10/10 would go again.

Delicious teriyaki. Very friendly Korean owners, don't seem like they're always open but this place is amazing. Highly recommend, right in front of Home Depot entrance, pricing is reasonable for the amount of for you're getting. Not many tables to eat. Better to order for takeout. About 15m wait for them to cook your food. But the plates come with a good amount of delicious side dishes as well.

This was better than I expected. The shrimp tempura was delicious. My chicken bowl was great i quickly regretted not getting a plate instead. The staff was quick to take our order and we didn't wait long to get called to pick up. We will be back for more whenever in the area or shopping at Home Depot .

Awesome teriyaki spot right outside of the Garden Grove Home Depot. It's Korean owned so the spicy chicken is made with gochujang, which I love. The beef teriyaki was also delicious. The teriyaki sauce is not too sweet and they don't drown the meat in it like other teri spots tend to do. It also comes with a side salad and some japchae (stir fried potato starch noodles). Also ordered a corn dog which was surprisingly good too - tastes just like Hot Dog On a Stick at your local mall. Now that I know this place is good, I would not hesitate to go back. So if you were on the fence about trying this place out, this is your sign to go and pull the trigger. You won't be disappointed!

WOW! what a surprise- decided to grab lunch since i was hungry after home depot. I didn't have high expectations but my beef and chicken plate was delicious. generous portion, fresh and great value. it's a husband wife team and the lady was very friendly. this walk up window is located right in front of the entrance to home depot. there are a few tables out front. Great teriyaki bowls/plates. look forward to my next HD visit so i can grab lunch here again.

    1. The Garden Plate was packed with meat, seafood, veggies, rice, and fruit! The coffee was silky and made well! 2. The spot has fun busy vibes as it is located in front of Home Depot! 3. The staff were friendly and timely with my order! It took about 10-15 mins! Note: There are only three tables outside! Photo: ICE COFFEE, Garden Plate, and Musubis

Service was good. Thai tea was really sweet. Chicken didn't have much flavor and was a little dry not that fresh. I didn't try any of the frozen beverages. The spicy chicken had a good kick to it but I wanted it to be spicy. Overall would maybe try a different place next time since I'm new to the area I am looking for my new chicken bowl spot.

Good food, decent price. Nice Teriyaki shop at Homedepot GG. Their bowls are great options for lunch if you're near Costco or the area.

This restaurant is outside of a Home Depot. I ordered the egg rolls to try them out. The eggs rolls came out quickly. The eggs roll had a good flavor and I enjoyed them. The prices are fair.

What brings the experience to another level is their pickled vegetables, kimchi, and scallion salad, which brings acidity to balance out the fatty pork. Then you also have some nice seasonings (soybean paste, wasabi, salt, and seasoned soy) to give some other flavor variations to the meat. We asked for a side of rice, which was perfectly steamed. The servers are aunties that won't check on you after every bite but will come over the second you raise your hand. I took my mom for lunch and we dug in a little too quick - photos were snapped after we've made a small dent on the food. We got the Seolleongtang and soondae platter which was plenty to share between two people. We ended up taking half of the soondae platter home and enjoying it for breakfast the day after. For those not familiar with Seolleongtang, the soup comes out very basic. You're given a bucket of scallions, a little pot of salt, and shaker of ground pepper to season the broth as you please. I recommend adding a few spoonfuls of the radish kimchi sauce. Speaking of the banchan, Jong Ro prepares some of the freshest and most flavorful banchans on the street. I wish they offered a menu option that was just a bowl of rice and bottomless banchan. The soondae was perfectly springy, paired with a salted shrimp sauce and flavored salt dip. The platter also came with boiled (or steamed?) pork belly, pig ear, and other pork innards that were nicely cooked. I love restaurants like this because they are simply good at what they do. Nothing is over-the-top. There is always a constant stream of customers. The times I've gone have been during your typical slow hours and the place was always 60% full. We prefer the chicken katsu over the pork katsu, the chicken is still soft and juicy, while the outside is crispy. Everyone is nice, they're always on the move, but always willing to help when needed. Food, I never had a bad thing here. And oh my goodness, a one page menu, decision fatigue has lessened! The simple go to for a lot of us has been the Katsu Curry. It's big, but never skimps on flavor. The texture is perfectly crispy, and the meat is juicy! The curry is full of flavor, and all of that with rice, is served in a big stone bowl. So it stays warm your whole meal. Garlic Su Yuk has been a comfort dish since say 1 for me. It's just comfy, with the toppings, I just need to add rice and that's my happy meal. Tofu Stew is that thing I get if I'm either craving soup, or I really need to open my chest because asthma is a pain in the booty. You get that bowl of rice, so I like to add the fried egg to that, let me say that yolk from the egg is an enhancement. The dish is perfect, but egg elevates it! So overall, this one of my comfy food spots. I know the Katsu is viral, but try the other delicious foods here too! You won't regret it!
