I can see this place being the "it" place to go! So my husband surprised me with a date night to Gatsby ! This place is super chic and cute ! Upscale vibes with plenty of seating and open feel. The outside exterior has great curb appeal! Valet is $10 we went on Sunday and it was pretty dead so no point in valeting but as this place gets popular I definitely can see you needing to. Apps : Deluded Deviled Eggs: 8/10 loved the flavors ! Who doesn't like shrimp on top of their deviled eggs . Only issue I had was the bbq save was a little strong tasting compared to the whole app. And the egg was cold while the shrimp was hot . I wish it were both hot idk felt weird going into my mouth Scallops: 8/10 delicious! One had more seasoning then the other but delicious all together. For those who aren't use to scallops you only get 2 so yes that is the price for 2 Meal: Crab cakes : 8/10 delicious!!! Wasn't fishy , placed together nicely . Just over all good meal Steak : 7/10 it would have been rated higher but my husband ordered medium well and it was totally well done . He said it was still good . He added the jumbo shrimp and it was JUMBO! Delicious Sides: lobster Mac 7/10 it was good but cheese was a bit runny and wish it had a crunch topping Loaded mash : 9.5 /10 absolutely delicious !!! Dessert : creme brûlée 6/10 we had it to go so the playing look unappetizing and was extremely small Service 8/10 water never was empty , server was prompt and friendly , manager came to check on the table . What I loved the most is they serve your sides for you. I loved that! This place will definitely go far! Things to tweak - I would like them to serve bread or something because there was quite a time between apps and the meal. As the restaurant gets busy I can see ppl getting impatient and super hungry I've already expressed the concerns of the two temp eggs and the Mac and cheese needing a bread crumb finish I would also like to note the music needs to be a little different it kind of just plays whatever. I heard contemporary gospel at one point and then regular chill radio music it really didn't flow and the music can really help with the ambiance

I was really expecting a lot more just like their steakhouse restaurant on Montrose... really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I was expecting. 1. Customer service was great. Our waiter was very attentive. 2. The atmosphere was nice. 3. Deviled eggs are delicious must try. 4. Absolutely loved the bread pudding dessert. 5. We had crabcakes The size was great, but the taste wasn't there. Husband and I had the Seabass and my daughter had the salmon. Unfortunately, they just weren't good. Side note: maybe since they're new they're just finding their way, but for now I wouldn't recommend.

Gatsby Prime Seafood I came here last Tuesday evening for a friend's birthday dinner. Im they offered valet parking for a charge or I was given the option to park in the back of the lot for no charge. Upon entry, the restaurant is very nice and aesthetically pleasing. The furniture and ambiance is very cute as the lights are dim and it appears modernly elegant. There wasn't a lot of patrons in the restaurant when we went so I'm not sure if that's because it was a late Tuesday evening but that meant we hear a great customer service became we had a couple of waiters to assist with our party and a man whom I believe may have been the manager also checked on us frequently ad well so that was greatly appreciated. for my appetizer, I ordered what I believe was the spiedini oysters and I had the deluxe deviled eggs. The oysters were pretty good if that's your jam but the deviled eggs were freaking amazing!! Highly recommend! For my meal, I ordered the sea bass topped with the Oscar (which basically is crab meat and broccolini) and a side of Mac and cheese. This is where things got a little disappointing. There was absolutely NO TASTE in my sea bass AND my Mac and cheese. I felt like it was seasoned without any salt which is so unfortunate because it was cooked well but that means nothing if to doesn't taste good. The added crab meat and my request for table salt was the saving grace but I probably wouldn't order it again. A lot of the other guest enjoyed their food so this could just be a one off so I encourage you to give them a try for yourself as everything else about the establishment was nice.

Came here with a friend with a very last minute reservation on a Sunday night. We were surprised to find the restaurant almost completely empty. We did the $10 valet to avoid having to walk too far since there is no other available parking nearby. We were greeted promptly by our server who walked us through the menu as first timers and offered plenty of recommendations. We started off with cocktails and the jumbo shrimp. I ordered the The Charleston which is a gin based cucumber flavored drink. It was delicious and the presentation was amazing. Definitely recommend this drink to anyone visiting the restaurant! The gumbo shrimp was made in a garlic butter wine sauce and accompanied by a parmesan + garlic bread. This dish was super flavorful and the shrimp was cooked really well. For our entrees I ordered the sea bass and my friend ordered the 8 oz steak. We ordered the broccolini and loaded whipped potatoes for the sides. The sides are family style and they even serve them for you which was a nice touch. The seabass was cooked to perfection but the flavor was really inconsistent throughout. Some parts were seasoned well and others were not? As far as the sides, they were both perfect. The loaded mash was the star of the night. WOW! So creamy and flavorful. We loved it. My friends steak was cooked exactly to their liking and they really loved it. I got to taste it and can confirm it was cooked perfectly and super flavorful. We were too full for desserts but they do offer a wide variety of dessert dishes. Overall I think it was a great meal and the quality of the food was really good. The decor of the place is awesome and so is the ambiance. I have to agree with other reviews that this place is missing the 5-star dinning mark by just A LITTLE BIT! I noticed our waiter had at least 5/10 tables that were on the floor. Our drinks took about 15-20 minutes even though the restaurant was relatively empty. We always had to ask for refills, and empty plates took a while to be removed from the table. He did great all things considered but service can only be so great when your waiter is that busy. When we went to pick up our car, the valet brought the wrong car. They were completely confused as to which one was our car. We eventually sorted it out and the guys were super nice but I don't think that should ever happen especially on a slow night. I think with a little improvement on the little things this place has the potential to be great.

Longtime visitor of the steakhouse so me and the family decided to try their seafood variant. Was well worth the deviation. Food: The food here is on par or above the steakhouse. I hate to admit it but the steak was better. we ordered off menu and were thoroughly impressed with flavor and presentation. Service: AMAZING! Can not say enough about our waiter Jose, the Asst. Jerry, and the General Patrick. truly 5 star service. everyone was knowledgeable, pleasant, attentive. we came in with our baby and instead of sitting us at a high table they adjusted and gave us a corner booth. appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts, all came out in the appropriate order without me having to specify. Atmosphere: Took one star away for atmosphere. High price point (well worth it) but it was a less intimate setting than i would expected at that price point; being used to their steakhouse variant. Additionally, I originally went to the steakhouse variant to avoid some of the outlandish things that occur at Steak48. During one part of our service a group walked in with a photographer and started taking pictures inside and out. the flash and antics disturbed our meal immensely. Despite that i would still rate this place high and will be back for the service and food alone. i normally take a lot of pictures but only happened to get our dessert.

We found this place through social media since it looks so cute and trendy. Definitely one of those instagram-able places. The food however was not up to par. The service was okay, our server was not bad but we waited forever for our food. He looked like he was very busy and it seem as if they only had 2-3 servers circling the restaurant. Our drinks were really good though, I got the Mexican Coffee drink, the Carajillo which is just like an Espresso Martini, but more rich and sweet with the cinnamon they put in. My fiancé said the old fashion was also very good. Our food were okay, not amazing or great. Some were actually super dry. Our seafood tower was very sad looking, and the crab legs were extremely dry to where it had a weird, stringy texture to it. Lobster and oysters were okay. Honestly nothing special. Our salad came out after our appetizers and sides so that was odd. We got the maple bacon as our appetizer, and it really just tasted like burnt bacon in maple syrup. The bacon was awfully dry and burnt but according the manager, it was supposed to be super dry because it was cured meat...? The Mac n cheese was okay. The crème brûlée corn was good. Overall, the food were not good and I feel like the quality was very bad for such an upscale, and chic restaurant. We paid about $300 for the food and it was not worth it. I'd give the food 2 stars, and 3 stars for ambiance and decorations. Sadly we will not be coming back here. Totally a social media overhyped place.

We came here to celebrate a late Valentine's Day as I had to work on the 14th. We were surprised to see that the valet was not complementary, as there is nowhere else to park. I agree with a previous poster that says valet parking at establishments of this caliber is normally complementary. We were greeted immediately, and seated right away, prior to our reservation time. The service was excellent throughout the meal. Instead of receiving bread service, they set down someone else's dessert. That was weird. The seafood tower was exceptional, with huge prawns and perfectly cooked lobster. My wife wanted the crab cakes, but they were out. I got the steak and it was not seasoned very well and kind of blah. That's probably why they put such a hard sell on all of the toppings. If a steak can't stand on its own I don't want it. They did give us (another) complimentary key lime pie, plus the cheesecake we ordered. Total plus tip with a good bottle of wine was $400. Not bad, but for this price I'd expect a better steak and complimentary valet parking. We may be back for the seafood tower, but not anytime soon.

First time at this new Seafood place from the Gatsby Steakhouse owners, in the former Mandola's space. Well, when you walk in blue it hits you in every sense of the word. Not sure what they were trying to do or what the theme was. Blue, deep blue everything. Not my style, but hard to overlook. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the portions were large and easily shareable, and the prices were very reasonable. Like $12 for a big ass wedge,

Beautifully decorated, service was very good, we came for a girls night out with a party of 4 to celebrate a birthday. The sides are shareable, we each ordered a side and shared. The cocktails were good and had the right balance of liquor and sweet. We all agreed the food was delicious. All the meat and seafood were very fresh. Lobster Tails, Filet Mignon pictured. PS: They have valet parking and accept various payment options.

We went two days ago for our anniversary. We love Gatsby Prime Steak location so we had to try the Seafood location and they didn't disappoint. The staff was amazing and Mona took good care of us. The food was simply divine. The sautéed shrimp is what we started off with taste so fresh and came in a wine sauce that even after we were done the bread they served taste great in the wine sauce.. They were very large prawns that my husband and I could share. Next was the cream corn brûlée' . Man oh man. We had it at the Steak house before but this location perfected it . you must try it words can't even express . I had the 6oz crab cake which was soo yummy and you can buy two is you like. My husband had the filet mignon also very yummy. We are every bite of our food. And they surprised us with a real cream brûlée to celebrate ... again sooo tasty. Mona told us about brunch on Sundays so we will definitely be back.

I wasn't too impressed the first time, and this visit certainly confirmed my initial thoughts. For La Lucha's Happy Hour, you get a choice between 2 types of oysters ($1.50 each). These were great - do this on a weekday before 6pm and you should be able to grab a table without a reservation. Barely even after we started eating the oysters, the waitress was already asking if we wanted to order more, instead of allowing us to just enjoy our food without interruptions. The menus they gave at our table were inconsistent and had different menu items. I had to ask for clarification if the redfish was on the menu since it wasn't on two of the three menus given to us. So, quality control was a miss. Rest of the menu... is limited. Everything was so greasy, from the fried chicken, the redfish, and shrimp tacos. * Red fish with pecans - 6/10. The fish did not taste like it was seasoned with salt. It was well cooked, not dry at all, but it lacked any sort of seasoning aside from the butter and pecans on top. * Shrimp Tacos - 4/10. I think I prefer Taco Bell over this one. The shell was greasy, not crisp (felt like it was stale), and I was confused with the combination of American Cheese and shrimp. They also added hot sauce or spicy salsa in the tacos - so a warning if you can't handle spice (not mentioned on the menu). * Half Fried Chicken - 5/10. The chicken was moist. Been here once before and it was quite dry, so I'm glad this was cooked well. You get 2 thighs, a wing, and a drumstick (4pc). Again, there was a lack of any seasoning on the chicken itself & the exterior. Sadly, the sauce that we picked was not the best either - oyster mayo. It would've been nice to try the others, but the half order came with one sauce. The seasonal jam that was available was the peach jam. It went well with the biscuits (half order comes with 2 biscuits, any extra is $1.50). For my people who get cold in restaurants, I would recommend bringing a light jacket since they turn the A/C up.

I'd go back to eat baskets of just those biscuits. Highly recommend. My husband ordered the fried catfish platter - it was amazing. The catfish nuggets were crunchy and HOT (temperature), the fries were perfectly seasoned and the hush puppy was a crunch heard around the globe. Sadly, the shrimp and grits arrived to the table at room temp. The flavor was really good, but I was worried to mention the temp issue and have the kitchen nuke them in the microwave. The red beans and rice were similarly room temp and congealed. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely, the service was solid, and on a Tuesday evening we could have walked in and been seated quickly. Overall, it was a nice evening with our friends. Sometimes the company makes up for small disappointments.

The replacement was flat too, which makes me think the soda lines upstairs probably need attention. At that point we just focused on getting the kids' meals ordered. As the food started coming out, I noticed the kids weren't eating their shrimp and fries. After tasting the fries myself, it was obvious the fryer oil needed to be changed. I also asked for the restaurant's famous bread, only to be told this location didn't have any. My husband eventually just ordered a tea instead. The catfish my husband's friend ordered was not good at all, and while my dinner was okay, it definitely wasn't worth the price. The server dropped the check before even asking about dessert, and when we did decide we wanted dessert, it took another 15-20 minutes.
