From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and celebrated. A special thank you to Jomel, who helped us with pre logistics questions and made sure everything was perfect. The suite was incredibly spacious, clean, and thoughtfully arranged--ideal for a space for a small bridal party to get ready. We were touched by the surprise gifts waiting for us in the room, which added such a personal and memorable touch to our wedding weekend. The beds were comfortable and most of the suite was relatively safe for our toddler to run around and explore. There was a mixup with reserving a parking spot, so make sure you confirm your spot while making a reservation. The elevators being out was tricky to coordinate with all of our luggage, and the parking spaces were quite small, but both were manageable and the staff was so helpful in bringing a few things up for us. They also accommodated us being late with our check out, which was incredibly kind. Please note that check out time is at 10am (not 11am or 12pm like other hotels) and plan accordingly! We're so thankful for the hospitality and care shown by the entire team. Highly recommend for anyone celebrating a special occasion in San Francisco!

As soon as you walk in, you see the beautiful Decor, Chandelier and seating area. We are welcomed in and checked into our room. They allowed us to take our luggage for our car to the room before taking it to the parking garage. They gave us a pass that allowed in and out privileges in the public parking garage Around the corner. That was pretty convenient. The hotel felt like I was transported back in the early 1900s, well restored and lovely decor. The elevator was neat where you pull the door and enter the small elevator. Good for about 5 to 6 people. Our accommodations were on the fifth floor with views of City Hall. The room was nicely updated, and it had all the amenities needed for a quick getaway. Includes a refrigerator, microwave, glassware, and plates. The area is very walkable. It's close to City Hall, the Asian art Museum, Opera House, and Hayes Valley, which is pretty cool on a Saturday evening to stroll around. They had live music. They block off two streets to allow for walking. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance in that area. There's an ice cream shop there on Hayes for a sweet treat. There's also some really cool Brunch spots around the hotel. We actually walked to brunch at Son and Gardens, which was about a 15 minute easy walk. There's also Peacock Pansy for good food. The hotel attendance are really nice. Always say hello and goodbye as you enter exit. They have self serve complementary coffee and tea by the front desk. And don't forget to ask for a fresh baked cookie. They are so good!

Check-in was a breeze and service was polite and friendly. Complimentary macarons and cookies are offered in the afternoon and fresh coffee, hot cocoa and teas 24/7. Rooms are located on 7 floors and can be accessed with the elevator or stairs. Our room was tiny which can only fit a queen size bed with no additional seating area. Room amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, dinnerware and glassware. Street parking can be difficult but there is a parking garage around the corner within walking distance. Definitely would stay here again and am highly recommending for anyone looking for a classy place to stay in SF!

Our very first experience with Worldmark and it made me glad i'm an owner!…read more The price for the room as owner is much cheaper than any decent hotels around. I've seen pictures and description ahead of time so kinda had some sort of expectations before coming here already. Being a historical building, there's only so much upgrades they can do without changing any structure of the room or the building. So the room here is much smaller (not surprising being in downtown SF) than most of Worldmark locations, but it still comes with options for separate bedroom and bathroom. The main thing the 1 bedroom suites missing is a kitchen. Both hotel rooms and suites are equipped with mini fridge and microwave, but having a full kitchen would still be nicer. Another plus is location, location, location! Literally around the block from China town, so this was a huge plus for me! Also walking distance to Union Square and most other popular places around. Since it's being in downtown, prepare to pay a good chunk of money for parking. My first night i got lucky with free street parking right in the front, but the next night not so much. Also got a parking ticket during the day for parking in the same spot that was free the night before. So make sure you read all the parking signs very carefully. There are tons of restrictions for different hours and days. All in all, we will definitely be back if we are in SF and can secure a last minute reservation!

We made a last…read moreminute reservation in Jun 2015, but were unable to stay in the apartment due to its condition. The entire place smelled from the "Dry Rot" being repaired in the bedroom. T he whole apartment is shabby (and not in a shabby chic kind of way!), but in a way that makes you want to take a hot shower. The kitchen, if you can call it that, is a room with a sink, refrigerator and table - maybe there was a stove but I have blocked it from my memory. The only bathroom is through the kitchen and by the time we got to this point in the tour, we didn't even go in to look at it. The apartment has heat, but Deirdre informed us that the heater which is in a hallway that serves as a bedroom, can't be used as it is behind the bed. The apartment was not ready when we arrived at the arranged check in time, and we waited 35 minutes for Deirdre to arrive to check us in. When she arrived Deirdre told us someone had stayed in the apartment the night before and it had not been cleaned or the beds changed. To be fair, Deirdre said she would stay and wash the sheets and dishes from the previous guest! When we told Deirdre we couldn't stay in the unprepared and under repair apartment, she refused to give us a refund. . This apartment is, in my opinion, not worth the hassle, and I would avoid it at all costs!! There are many vacation rentals which meet or exceed the advertisement, this is not one of them.
