We got the Sugar Free Pistachio, Strawberry (Vegan), and Ferrero Rocher flavor gelato. That was a TOUGH decision. The sugar free pistachio tasted just as the "normal" one would until we sampled it against the regular pistachio and you could tell a slight difference, but still went with the sugar free option. Strawberry Vegan, couldn't tell it was vegan. And Ferrero was the crowd pleaser!! So creamy! Extremely friendly staff, so grateful they let us sample because there were so many delicious choices. Rating 3.5 Stoped by for desert since it was in the area. They were also serving free sample upfront. It's an gelato specialized store serving various flavors and also some drink, food and pastry options as well. It's a decent size store with good amount of seats in the front and back. When we got there there was some signs so we could ended up waiting in line to get some gelatos. They let you try flavors as well. They were understaffed so there was only 2 people there to handle big line of customers. We couldn't spend too much time deciding because there was long line. I ended up getting Ferrero Rocher flavor gelato. Flavor was not bad but consistency of the gelato was weird. It was oddly soft and was like eating whipped cream. The gelato was ok. I've had better gelatos. Service was ok. It was but slow because of understaffing. Overall it's an ok place for gelato. Won't likely come back. read more

I was delighted to find that Gelatoville had opened a branch near my gym. In this auspicious or what? Exercise and chilled nirvana of the ice cream kind. As Jen had not eaten this gelato we came here on Wednesday after working out. This location is quite big and had plenty of flavors. Jen chose her two favorites of pistachio and hazelnut. I had the Bueno Cream and hazelnut l. Having found the Bueno Cream memorable on east 10th Street, I had to have it again. We sat at a table to enjoy it. Jen thought the portion size was quite small but I was happy with mine. Who else gives you a large helping nowadays unless it's in your own home? Upon entering there was many seatings, place is spacious. Great amount of gelato flavors . They also have coffee, matcha and lattes on their menu. You can help yourself to try some flavors before getting your scoop. I got the pistachio and hazelnut. Both flavor were very strong, soft and creamy. Visited for their grand opening on national ice cream day and LOVED IT!! The ice cream was delicious and so fresh tasting. Service was amazing, they were all so sweet and took care of every customer even though there was a long line and many people to get through. I thought all of the flavors looked delicious but this fruity combo hit the spot and was super refreshing on a hot day. Very nice and helpful staff. I feel like the gelato is overly sweet. Some flavors tasted like normal gelato but others were so decadent that it made my teeth hurt lol Maybe it's just me. Glad that the location is a gelato spot and not a weed shop anymore. Will definitely go back but just stick to the fruit flavors. read more

I had the tiramisu with the milk chocolate. It was outstanding. So incredibly creamy and Rich and very nice extra large serving. The mini is enough for two people. I know it's eight dollars but it is New York City and I definitely think it was well worth it. Next time I'm trying the dark chocolate and pistachio.! i'm not a vegan, but it seems like people thought those were really rich and flavorful as well. Laurie loved the lemon, which was very tart and perfect for what she was looking for. Service is wonderful as they were more than willing to let you try as many items as you want. I'd love to tell you how the gelato was. We were a party of 3, ready to spend $40-50 on gelato, to help support a neighborhood business and have a treat. After waiting about 15 minutes (there were only 3 other customers, and service was slow, despite 2 employees on deck), we were never acknowledged or glanced upon. They didn't even say anything when we walked out. Despite this nasty lack of communication or even acknowledgement, we did not let this ruin our otherwise wonderful day - plus we saved some money and calories. read more

Overcharge you and they don't even understand the laws. $8.50 posted price has to be credit card price and cash can be cheaper. $8.50*sales tax = $9.25 but they are skimming on the top somehow. Check your receipts and math -- they do not know what they are doing. read more
