Tons of flavor without being drenched in excessive sauces. The meat itself was perfectly cooked. We got: Bulgogi rice bowl: cooked to perfection, will be thinking of this for a while Korean short ribs: I don't even like ribs but this was my favorite item! Seriously so flavorful! Korean spicy wings: excellent rub, unique taste! Chicken Katsu Rice Bowl: loved the fried chicken and the dipping sauce it came with Kids chicken fried rice: very tasty and the kids liked it! Best part of it is everything is HALAL! We're really missing halal Korean in California. Now that I've tried it I'm going to be craving it all the time. The second time I went, I got the Hibachi Style Fried Rice Bowl with chicken and that tasted delicious. The portion size was good and it was so flavorful. For dessert, I tried their Honey Toast with Tiramisu and I absolutely loved it. It tasted just as good as it looks. The crust had a nice little crunch to it and it was soft on the inside. Once you are ready, you can step up to the counter to order. The staff will bring your food out once it is ready. Everything is made to order, so we had to wait about 15 mins or so! We were given complimentary miso soups with our meals. I ordered the chicken bowl with a variety of stir fried veggies. My husband ordered the basil chicken bowl. Ambiance: the restaurant is very pretty on the inside, and you can honestly take pictures of yourself too. It has ample seating and lighting. Service: the service is very nice and the employees are kind. There was also a free complimentary drink they offered with health benefits! Pricing: for a halal restaurant, the pricing is actually very good! Food: I got the beef bulgogi bowl and the chicken bowl (I forgot the name). Both of them were very nice. My family is in love with this place! I was shopping at the World Market and decided to grab a quick bite somewhere in the area. My boys love rice and wanted to eat something that had rice as a component in the meal, so we went with Bibimbap. Upon entering we were kindly greeted by one of the ladies working behind the register. She offered a few suggestions based on our taste preferences. Her top suggestion was the Spicy Basil chicken dish so we went with that. We couldn't have been more pleased; the dish was simply delicious. The portion sizes threw us off, there was enough food in each dish for two people! We went during lunch so each dish was about $11 or so with tax. We also got a complementary order of soup with the dishes and it was pretty tasty as well. The complementary pandan water was unexpected, but very refreshing. I have never had pandan water, I usually would get it as a bubble tea. I drank a few cups while we waited for the food to come out. I liked the paper/cardboard to go food containers; I wish more places would use these types of containers to prevent plastic from leeching into the foods. Upon being sat, I told the girl who sat us we didn't need a highchair for our baby and she just says "yeah" and walks away. Odd response. She took our order and the entire time from seating us to taking our order to the moment we paid and walked out, she did not smile once or any kind of positive emotion. She genuinely looked like she hated being there and it was absolutely showing. Also, we ordered the Korean chili fries as an app, and we told her that, and it came out AFTER our mains. It's an appetizer.....it comes out BEFORE the meal. This restaurant doesn't have to be a full-service dining type of establishment for you to provide good customer service.
