Don't wanna bash this place to bad cuz they got the job done but these people have no care for brand new wheels. I brought a wherl I had that kept losing air due to bad sealant. They did the job by resealing the bead but scratched and nicked up my brand new rims I just bought which weren't cheap. Just a heads up if you do bring new rims make sure to tell them to be carful with the lips of the wheel. I made the mistake by assuming they would take care of them since they are new but they didn't even bother. Even if they were stock wheels no one wants a scratched or nicked wheel. read more

I bought new rims and tires for my Toyota 4Runner and I was shopping around for a good deal to balance and install them. After reading all the awesome reviews I decided to try this place out since it's about 5 minutes from my house. I was not disappointed. The employees were all very nice and they got the job done quick. I waited onsite and the waiting room was very clean but like I said I only had to wait about 20-30 min. I also spoke to them about installing new struts for my truck and the gentleman helping me was very informative and seems very honest. Went through 5 tire shops before landing to Gener tire and auto. Should've came here the first! Other tire shops like pacific around the corner were rude had to customer service and lied about their listings. Manager at Gener was helpful gave advice for new tires and didn't try make deals for new tires like all the other places. Gener tire does it again! I decided it was time for some different tires on my Chevy but I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. Palemon took the time to show me some different options of what I could get. After some time showing me different brands and tire types he found some I really liked. They were special order so it was gonna take a couple of days for him to receive them. Fast forward to Friday 9/6/16. I drop the truck off in the morning and I told him that I wouldn't be able to pick the truck up until mid afternoon so to take his time to put the new tires on and perform the alignment for the newer larger tires. He called me up about 3:00 to inform me the truck was ready to be picked up. As I'm on my way he calls me to tell me there's a slight cosmetic issue on the sidewall on one of there tires(they couldn't see it upon delivery because of blue paint that comes on) he noticed it as he was cleaning it off upon my pickup. It was nothing that caused a safety issue, it was just that part of name on the tire had been ruined upon molding of the tire. So when I got there he showed it to me and explained he wouldn't be able to have a new tire until Tuesday because of the holiday. I really needed the truck over the weekend though as I had a trip to Burro canyon planned. Palemom said not to worry and that he was going to take care of it. Being that they were special order tires they weren't exactly local. He was able to find a warehouse that had them and drove all the way over there just to get me another tire. Not only that, but he stuck around until after 7:30 on Friday night just to make sure I had my vehicle for the holiday weekend! I honestly believe a lot of tire shops would not have said anything and just hoped I wouldn't notice but not Palemon, he did everything he could to make sure I continue receiving great service from them. I am soooo glad that I found this place! I don't really know much about cars, so when I got a flat tire and heard strange noises coming from my car, I was super worried. Especially since I need to travel the next day. I found this place here on yelp and saw they had great reviews so I called ahead to ask questions and to get a quote, sounded very reasonable. As soon as I got there they answered all my questions, were very accommodating, and did not try to up-sell me. I felt like the workers here were really honest. My tire was changed in 10 minutes. Super quick! I had mentioned to them that I needed an oil change, they didn't have the oil in stock, but they kindly referred me to the business right next door to them, and they were able to do it right away. They have a nice air conditioned lobby with chairs, water, and cable tv for you to wait in. I want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for being so helpful. These guys are serious life-savers!
