I rate a 4****! I ordered through grub hub, they were on time and courteous! My order was 100% correct & good! My only concern is the breadsticks were a bit burnt on the bottom and a few were not rolled/closed correctly, although it didn't stop me from eating them! I would recommend AND order again though!

They offer a 10% discount for senior citizens 60 and over. They are located on the south east side, in a strip of businesses that share a parking lot. They have ample parking for now, multiple business are being built around the area like a Chick-fil-A and crew carwash. Service was good. They seat you at a table or booth, provide you with a fork in a "queen buffet" sleeve, and get your drink order. I couldn't find the plates at first, but they are in the buffet are underneath the food items. Each station has some and there were plenty. I always like to scan all the choices before deciding what I want. It was like a typical Asian/ American buffet. They have a variety of food during lunch time. They also had a sushi bar, hibachi, and desserts with ice cream and popsicles. I really enjoyed the plantains, chicken and broccoli, lo mein, and the fruit.

I've been several times and they are a solid choice for buffet style Asian cuisine. I think the buffet runs about $18.99 for dinner. I'm not sure what it is for lunch. You can find all of your usual suspects: fried rice, general tso, chicken with broccoli, pepper, steak, and an extended choice of seafood. In addition, you will also find the hibachi grill and a decent selection of sushi. The hibachi area has chicken beef, and I think shrimp. Also, a larger selection of vegetables to go along with it. The service is always great and it's super clean.

Sleepy Hollow Gourmet Deli & Cafe - 'Cause I got potentials to blow up a Winchell's Donut

However, as I parked I spied Sleepy Hollow Gourmet Deli & Cafe along with a Jack's Donuts. I was curious. So, I wheeled over and realized they were like conjoined culinary twins. I detoured my plans and decided to hang out at Sleepy Hollow, a delightfully named establishment (though I do wish they'd lean into the decor a bit more) for this Irvington-set restaurant. Jack's does seem to be the dominant force here. There are donuts, bagels, cookies, and even kolaches. The prices are surprisingly affordable. Drinks include hot coffee, iced coffee, lattes, boba energy, and Pepsi products. They do have both sweet and unsweetened iced tea. The menu also includes Choc-ola! The deli menu includes toasted subs (every sub has 1/4-pound of meat and you can go double for an extra price). They use Boar's Head meats. You can get chips and a soft drink to make it a combo. This strip center is always a little hit-and-miss in terms of access, however, with some nearby road construction it seems just a bit slower and I was able to find a spot that improved my accessibility. If you go to the door by the entrance, the curb has a bit of a step to it. If you go to the end of the aisle, there's a smooth and level section to make it all easily work. The interior itself is nicely laid out and easily accessible. The employees were super friendly. They also offer catering. There's a combination of higher-top tables and regular tables. Business was fairly steady, however, I had no issue finding a place to sit. I ended up ordering a chicken salad sandwich that was a healthy size and quite tasty. I grabbed a bag of chips and my usual unsweetened iced tea. Pricing was right about $13. Overall, I was quite pleased and I would easily return. Whether you're seeking donuts or a deli sandwich, Sleepy Hollow (or Jack's) is an ideal place to stop in.

Thankfully, there was no wait, so we were seated immediately. We chose to sit outside since the weather was perfect. The outdoor seating was under a canopy, and the ground had this rocky/rubble vibe that gave it a cool outdoor patio feel. We grabbed a table near the TV so we could watch the basketball game. One thing I really liked was the activity table where you could color, play board games, or do trivia. They also had ping-pong, cornhole, and other cute activities for little kids, which made the atmosphere feel really fun and family-friendly. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to order, but I went with the Cobb salad. It was good, but I definitely needed extra dressing plus some salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. I'd come back for sure, but next time I'll probably try something different since the salad was just okay. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to bringing my family back to check this place out!

Even though they were busy the wait was not very long and the host was so nice and I wish I could remember his name. Our server was so nice and kind and made great recommendations. I had the mocktail Nohito and it was sooo cute and delicious! The others had cocktails and a bottle of coke (yes glass bottle)- cute right?! Now we had the Karange tofu and I need that recipe! The crispiest most flavorful tofu outside and nice and soft inside. Couldn't tell it wasn't chicken! We also had oysters. For dinner I had the Katsu Curry and it was on point! And the leftovers were just as delicious. My sister had the Tantanmen and it was sooo good!! I could drink that broth. They do give you options for rice instead of noodles and broth if you like options. We also shared the Glazed tofu and yall it will change your LIFE!!! Cute monkeys hanging out everywhere with beautiful string lights and a classy understated tiki vibe. Please go here if you haven't yet. You'll thank me later

The drinks, the ramen, the dessert...we love it all, and we love spending our money at a local business. For years now, the kitchen has substituted rice for ramen for me because I have gluten intolerance. I have always asked respectfully, explained why, and said thank you, every single time. Tonight my husband and I walked down to Strangebird for dinner, ordered drinks and dinner, and I had *just* said to my husband that Strangebird has come to feel like a second home. Then the server came out and told us that the chef has decided they will no longer permit any modifications, including those that meet dietary needs. We were out on the quiet patio surrounded by other customers, so on top of being totally blindsided, it was actually pretty embarrassing, too. Folks, let me tell you how much I wish I could just eat the ramen noodles like everybody else. So much food that I love (and in some cases spent years learning to make myself) went out the window forever when my body stopped being able to handle wheat. But at Strangebird, I could still go in and enjoy the depth of flavor in every other component of a bowl of ramen. And that meant the absolute world to me. I'm heartbroken.
