The only reason this place gets an "A-OK" is the name. How can you give a "Meh" to a restaurant named after one of the biggest badasses ever? Answer: you can't. My boyfriend and I went here for lunch one Saturday afternoon and after pretty much trying EVERYTHING that they had to offer, the only thing we ended up liking were the french fries! The Sushi was decent ... however its freshness was questionable. The fruits were old. As I was getting my food, I saw one of the workers go through the oranges, pick out the old and dry ones and throw them out. The mussels and oysters were disgusting and tasted too sour. The fried shrimps, BBQ pork and some orange chicken type thing were all cold and not that tasty. Damn you Yelp for not having half stars. This is really 2.5, but I rounded up to 3. I went here for lunch buffet. A lot of options, can't say many of them were tasty. They have standard sushi (CA rolls) and a whole bunch of fried Chinese plates dumped in a lot of oyster like sauce. The one thing that made this place decent though was the stirfry bar, where you choose a bunch of noodles, beef, and veggies, put it in a bowl, and they'll stir fry it for you right there. BEST BUFFET EVER!! Loved it! Everything from the fresh-off-the-grill Mongolian BBQ to the french fries! They have an assortment of seafood for a minimal price. Where else can you get all you can eat crab, clams, shrimp, oysters, tilapia, salmon, and cod for only $10.99!! The staff was friendly and there was a wide selection of ready made food plus the Mongolian BBQ. It is an all you can eat buffet and the price for lunch is $9.45. It's not only a bargain but the food was pretty tasty. They have a sushi station, a salad station, dessert station on one side. Then they have the prepared Chinese food section, that includes soup, broccoli beef, chow mein, egg rolls, potstickers etc. They also have fried chicken wings, roast chicken and something I don't see often in these kind of places, they have roast duck, bbq ribs, fried fish - sand dab i believe, mackerel, smelt etc. They also have shrimps and clams. At the end of this station is the Mongolian BBQ fixings. I enjoyed everything with the exception of the wonton soup, i am not a fan of their broth but they had 2 kinds of soups and i only tasted the wanton soup. Also, i liked the Mongolian BBQ but they didnt have a huge selection of things to put in it; for example the lack of baby corn as my son pointed out. Came here at around 7:30pm on a Thursday, only a few heads inside but the ones who came in while we were eating seemed to be very familiar with the staff, always a good sign. Food that was out when we arrived was relatively fresh, and the small portions belay an experienced buffet staff- fresh sushi came out a few tines during our stay, and the Mongolian bbq side is a real treat, good variety considering the relatively small selection.
