Sweet and Sour Pork order. No follow directions, I request no vegetables, no pineapple and extra sweet sour sauce. What do I get? Vegetables, pineapple, and regular sauce. Wow, kinda expensive to not follow directions. Not in the drive in and not over the phone Repeat . Hmmmmm

Sweet & Sour Prawn Mongolian Beef, and Steam Rice. Mmmmmm yummmmy! Recommend!

Went in for the lunch special today got the kung pao chicken, white rice, chaowmaing and i must say i was very disappointed. The food was absolutely tasteless the chicken had no flavor at all and the chowmang was cold and nasty. Will not be coming back.

This is my favorite and best go to spot for authentic CHINESE rice plates in the east bay. Definitely a hidden gem. -CLEAN restaurant and friendly staff -fast service and generous portions -The food is fresh tasting, fresh ingredients, and good rice. (I mentioned the rice because not all places make it the right way!!) -Flavors and seasonings are always consistently good.

we came here for a quick bite. My daughter was craving some Chinese food after her basketball game. Give me the food super fast, and it was very delicious. Lady , super polite. Ambience is for to go place. They can definitely tidy up a little bit. But perfect to grab and go.

We were in the mood for some ABC Chinese food. Basically we were nostalgic for those Chinese American dishes we grew up with. Xing Yuan fits the bill. They serve solid food at decent prices. What we ordered: + Chinese chicken salad (5/10) - my least favorite. Chicken should be shredded, but instead it was battered and dried. Did not detect that Chinese mustard zing and no peanuts. I suppose everyone has their own recipe, but this didn't resemble the Chinese chicken salad I grew up with. + Mongolian beef (8/10) - the flavor was good and had a little heat. The meat was very soft. + Dry braised green beans (8/10) - good + Sweet and sour pork (7/10) - good flavor, but batter on the pork was a little soggy (maybe just a problem with takeout) and pork was a little dry. Very few pineapples. + House special chow mein (9/10) - thick noodles just like I remembered + Honey walnut prawns (10/10) - so good. They give you extra mayo dressing on the side, but I didn't find that necessary. I like the prawns underdressed and still a little crispy. Overall a good place for casual Chinese American food.

Ordered chicken w/vegetables, very bland no flavor & no taste, I never add salt to my food but had to this time. This place use to have really good food until new owners took over & food has went downhill. I took a few bites and left. $16 down the drain.

We came to the area for Carls but decided to look around in the plaza and ended up at this place, which I'm glad we did! We sat ourselves down because it wasn't busy, which i dont mind. We ordered our food and i didn't expect for it to come out so fast. I can actually say that i enjoyed the food. We ordered - *prawns with lobster sauce- it was amazing i loved it! *chow fun with pork- it was good nothing special *pork fried rice- it was good *bbq pork-delicious for an appetizer. *Sweet and sour pork-my bf loved it, i couldn't eat it because of personal reasons lol The price was pretty good and affordable.

I've been here a few times and one time the owner or cook came up to our table to recommend some items and talk about the type of food he serves. They're very nice people and very generous, especially when I came by on a slow Wednesday for a solo dinner and I was pretty hungry so I ordered a few new dishes I haven't tried before. I ordered the spicy tingly beef noodle soup, the lamb in sauce dumplings, and the ruo jia mo stewed pork slider and I was also offered a bit of their liang pi cold noodle on the house which I commend on them for going beyond their service and hospitality. The noodle soup was presented so well and the dumplings sauce was so good that I poured some into my broth for extra flavor. The slider was so moist and fresh, juice was literally dripping off each bite and the cucumbers in it gave it a good crunchy texture. In the end I would come back anytime and order the same and perhaps try their malatang!

The restaurant regularly hosts community event and cultural gatherings . It is also good for wedding venue , 100 days baby red egg and ginger party , birthday party, etc . It serves authentic Cantonese cuisine. Today we came here for lunch dim sum. Seafood fried rice was flavorful, the rice was not too wet and was stir fry to perfection. Lots of seafood and the presentation was a A plus . ( see photo ) Tea marinated chicken was $12.99 for half chicken , meat tender and juicy . Chicken was marinated to rich flat. Steamed beef balls were hand craft to a good texture , fluffy and chewy. Another 5/5 . I loved the black bean sauce chicken feet , pork Siu Mai with big chunks of shrimp inside to enrich the taste , fried chives dumpling was tasty . All the dim sum were delicious and served hot . I saw the roasted pork with crispy skin . We were too full to order more . But I could tell that was an excellent dish . Service was good and very attentive . This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had on the island…read more I was shuffled between at least five different employees just to get seated, place an order, get a drink, and finally receive my food. I was dining alone and ordered only shrimp dumplings and a glass of Chardonnay, yet the wait was excessive. The wine arrived in what looked like a tasting-sized pour, and at $16 a glass, it felt particularly disappointing--especially since it was the only white wine option available. The restaurant itself felt neglected. The tables were wobbly, the décor was dated, there was a noticeable cigarette smell, and I even had to replace my own chopsticks after noticing lipstick on the pair initially provided. After waiting so long for my food, I stood up to ask for my check and cancel the order. At that point, the dumplings suddenly appeared, along with an offer of a fried bun as compensation. I declined and suggested they at least comp the wine given the experience, but they did not. The final bill was nearly $30 for a mediocre glass of wine and shrimp dumplings that were undercooked and unappetizing enough that I threw them away after a few bites. If you're looking for a quick meal before a movie, I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere. This was a disappointing waste of both time and money.
