This is my go-to pizza. I order once a week on average. They have the tomato pie style pizzas, and some brilliant specialty pies. My only gripe is the lack of a Sicilian pie, but everything I've tried is top notch. Yes, there are a lot of great pizza places on/near Route 33 in Robbinsville/Hamilton, but this one shouldn't be missed. (Try the bianco pie.) read more

We are from out-of-town, staying a couple days on our summer adventure. Pulled in to parking lot, and we almost left, as the parking lot was mostly empty. So glad we didn't, what a surprise! Food is great, service is great but the noise level is high. Don't go if they are having a big party of people inside. They have no way to wall off a party so all the diners are bombarded by the noise. My wife and I took old friends on Wednesday night and you could hardly hold your own conversation. The decor does nothing to absorb the noise it just bounces off the walls. Next time we will be sure to ask beforehand if they are having a large party and if so pick another night. Came here 45 mins before close and they told me they were no longer making slices... as someone who's been here multiple times and worked as a server for 8+ years, I was disappointed in their customer service and rudeness. My boyfriend and I were appalled their only solution was to "order a pie to go" when my bf only wanted 2 slices. Left and went to Manninos who happily served us slices. My family and I were so upset, we felt the need to let you know how poorly we were cared for. We've been to Gennaro's 8-10 times, and we would like to continue coming to you. Jamie was our waitress. She was very aloof, non-caring, and seemed like she was preoccupied on something other than us. She made our experience LESS than perfect as it always has been. This is my 3rd time at Gennaro's. 1st time excellent, 2nd time, ok, but our last visit was pretty bad. Ordered all 3 specials; Asparagus Soup - just meh, it tasted like asparagus and salt. Salad was Grilled watermelon on arugula with goat cheese, candied pecans and balsamic vinaigrette. There was scant amount of goat cheese, watermelon was not sweet. Entree was Tuscan shrimp pasta with Parmesan cream sauce. Unfortunately, no sooner were our salads taken away that we rec'd our entree which was so obvious that it was sitting. The pasta had already dried out and the sauce congealed. Shrimp was favorable, but not enough to save this dish. We passed on the dessert. Perhaps this was an off night but that off night cost me over $50, which included 20% tip and I left hungry. read more

The food & tomato pies are always wonderful. Unfortunately, the service is "IFFY". I wanted to speak with the owner that very night, a few months ago on our LAST visit, but my husband suggested that I let it go, and write up a review instead. A few times, we had "Jamie" as our server. Every time we've had her, it seems that she walks with a "chip on her shoulder". She is rude and has terrible manners. My husband and I haven't been there for a few months, and the other night, we figured we'd give it a try, in hopes that things would've been different. The food was WONDERFUL, thank you, however, as you may have guessed it, the service SUCKED!! There was a "private party" inside the restaurant, so we had to sit outside. That wasn't too bad, but "Jamie" was our server, again. She didn't pay any attention to details, thus causing numerous mistakes. Well, Mr. Gennaro, you have lost our patronage because of "Jamie's" rudeness and terrible service. We have recommended your restaurant to many of our friends, and unfortunately, the ones who have had "Jamie" serving them, many of them have the same or similar comments: "great service, but 'Jamie'....." We feel that we need to bring this to her attention, and especially to your attention, Mr. Gennaro, so that this may hopefully be taken care of. After this last awful experience, my husband suggested that I write this review, hopefully our concerns will be taken SERIOUSLY. Until something can be done about this, from now on, if we decide that we want your food, we'll order it for DELIVERY!!! This way, we wont have to deal with "Jamie's" horrendous service. read more

We were craving Italian food and had never been here before so we decided to stop in. They have a really nice covered patio so we decided to eat outside. Everything on the menu looked good so it was hard to choose something but we ended up getting spaghetti and meatballs, potato pizza, and the side of truffles. Everything was delicious! I am very picky about meatballs and I have to say that these were really good. The pizza crust was thin and crisp even at the end of dinner. The best thing was the polenta. It had mushrooms and truffle oil in it and it was so creamy and delicious. The next time I come here I will definitely be getting the polenta again. The only negative was the flies that were hovering around but that's not the restaurants fault. read more

First time ordering here, ordered cheesesteak sandwiches and mozzarella sticks and man...very disappointed! The bread tasted like it came from wawa down the street, cheap quality? And it was not even toasted at all, who hates soggy bread? Yea everyone. The steak inside had no flavor either and it had peppers and onions...it just tasted like a subway steak sandwich with 80% bread 20% steak. It wasn't cheap either, it was like $8-up for sandwich. Subway is cheaper. Man, cheesesteak sandwiches in Hamilton just all suck! Mozzarella sticks? Easy to not F this up right? Yea I ate better mozz sticks from the shop rite freezer section, Even Burger king mozz sticks have more flavor! The good reviews are mostly the pizza here, so I may give them 1 more chance there and order there pizza, but if its just another disappointment this will be my last visit. read more

Service was wonderful, nice atmosphere, a little noisy but overall cozy. The tomato pie was tasty--but way too much oregano. The fried calamari was crunchy and fresh, but a little too salty. Have dined here several times over the last few months as it is very convenient to our daughter's dance school. Usually just stop in for some tomato pie - which is just as good as, if not better, than, their competitors (DeLorenzo's) up the road. Excellent crust & the sauce is very tasty!! We also order salads or soup - very good on both. Last recently ordered dinners here. Beware the specials!! Don't get me wrong - they were excellent in terms of taste & quality, but shame on us for not asking the prices beforehand!! Veal special was $32 and an asparagus appetizer was $14!! This restaurant is fantastic. I got this mozzarella ball on top of tomato and fried eggplant with balsamic, a basil oil and fine prosciutto ... changed my life forever, mmmm. So good, so fresh! This red truant serves good Classic Italian good. The Pasta (ESPECIALLY the Pene Vodka) is to die for, and the pizza is, above average. The salads, are Ok but the servers are efficient. Have ordered pizza when they were a very small venue. They have expanded to a full dinning room. Pizza was good, so the other night decided to give the full menu a try. Service was excellent, the young lady who waited on us did a fine job and she was a fill in.. was to be hosting that night.
