    Mamma's Baklava Pancakes

I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this place already! This spot is an absolute stand out in downtown Kirkland. I've been here for breakfast more often than I can remember (2-3 times a month going back to 2022), and I've always come away happy. I usually get the Keto plate or one of the omelets, but enjoy this picture I took of the baklava pancakes! For dinner, I've had both their gyro and their smash burger and loved them. It's worth pointing out also that their french fries are possibly the best you'll get at any spot in the area. If all of that weren't enough, their staff are delightful and charming!

Has become a place to go in Kirkland for old fashioned breakfast that's non pretentious. I like to go here myself, just taking a walk, and order basic breakfast. Service is pretty quick and I usually get a table.

Yo, how's this place not at least 4? 5/5 for sure! there were so many more things we wanted to get but we didn't want to go overboard!! Started off with a cup of OJ and an iced caramel machattio. I got the garden benedict, while my fiance got the lumberjack scramble with a Belgian waffle (& of course he had to add strawberries) we were going to stop there, but couldn't resist and ordered a side of poutine. There were so many good things on the menu, we were debating of getting ALL OF THE THINGS, but it'll be even more reason to come back. Service was speedy & spectacular. Food came out quick and honestly didn't need much checking in because the food was so god dang good. Classic diner vibes with the Mediterranean inspiration and also a bar?! 10/10, 5/5 - I ain't got nothing left to say besides that I'll 100% be back and be regulars!

Highly recommended. This is a great place for breakfast. Love the ambiance. Service is 5/5. Food is 5/5 and there is parking in front of building if you arrive early. There is a pay parking around the corner. Loved the breakfast I had for my birthday . Totally amazing, so much food . Love the coffee, I ordered a fiesta omelette with sour dough bread. Everything was amazing. I will be back for sure. They have a bar and happy hour I think I saw on the menu. Prices very reasonable. Overall rating 5/5 no issues everything excellent!

Uncertain of what we wanted for lunch, we stumbled upon George's in Kirkland. As we walked by and saw that it was busy and plates were empty were indicators we should go in. We were not disappointed. Hubby and I family styled the pot roast melt with crispy tots and the Greek hash. Both were delicious and we both agreed the pot roast melt was our favorite because of the tender beef that was melt in your mouth delicious! Hubby also appreciated that the French roll that it was served on did not cut the roof of his mouth. The caramelized onions were a little underdone and on the crunchy side. We were seated right away, food came quickly and we were outta there in time for our next stop. Service was friendly and our water glasses were always filled. George's has a vast menu - there is something for everyone. It's a great spot for breakfast, brunch/lunch and is family friendly. Parking was not an issue on a Saturday afternoon.

Stopped by this place for weekday brunch after an early morning errand. This place has a cute vintage vibe to it, with tables & booths with a bar seating area as well! The service was wonderful, the staff were kind and efficient and let us hang out for a bit after we finished eating, which was nice as it let us catch up a bit. It seemed that there were many Greek food influence in their menu yet some typical popular choices as well. I went with the baklava pancakes as it sounded good & i haven't had pancakes or a baklava in awhile :) Some of the other dishes chosen were the greek omelette and the chorizo benedict; both seemed to be well received too! I would definitely come out again & hope to soon!

Always good food, good service. Appreciate that these days! They are also doing a very good job being open but still social distancing.

We got the lemon poppyseed cake and it was the biggest slice of cake I've ever seen (photos don't do it justice, it was bigger than our heads!) - it was a bit too sweet for my liking but the savory dishes were really delicious. I would love to try other items on their menu. We got seated at the outside bar table. Our servers were sweet and friendly. Parking lot in front with limited spots. Come early because it gets busy!

Had a total party size of two. We even added our names, but when we got led to our seats, we were put at the barstools. There were plenty of other parties of two that arrived after us that got tables plus there were some empty tables for two that we saw as well. So we requested a table instead of the bar area, but the server told us the manager didn't want us sitting there. Didn't make much sense when there were empty tables. Maybe they had some reasoning or structure for weekend crowds they they had to follow, not sure, but we had to stay seated at the bar area. We ordered a Margherita pizza to split as well as a slice of carrot cake as I've heard a lot of good things about these items. The pizza had really fresh ingredients and the sauce and tomatoes were tasty, however the dough was incredibly salty and made it difficult to eat. This was my first time at Deru Market, but I assume it isn't always this salty and could have been a one-time thing. The slice of carrot cake was pretty expensive (around $14) but it's huge and good to split amongst 2-3 people. I liked the generous serving of nuts and shredded carrot inside. Cream cheese frosting was still a bit too sweet for me (think I prefer Deep Sea Sugar and Salt's to this) and I had to remove most of it, but the cake was overall pretty good though a little on the dry side. I get why this place is popular, but I don't think I had the best first time experience here. With the high number of positive reviews though, maybe they were just having a bad day since it was a Saturday and pretty crowded, so I'm hoping to come back again in the future, during like a seasonal special if they have any.

The giant pretzel is a must-order, and the cheese curds are exactly how they should be--crispy on the outside with the perfect amount of chewy cheese inside. Our server was very friendly and helpful. They have an extensive menu of pub style foods. My wife settled on the fish sandwich, while I went for the breakfast burrito. Hey, it's 9 am somewhere, right? The fish got a thumbs up for taste, with a crunchy batter, but the portion size was lacking, especially for the price, which I felt was on the high side. My burrito, on the other hand, was a big portion and very flavorful. I thought it was priced appropriately. I also had a 12 oz beer - I liked their eclectic list of choices, but I was very disappointed to be charged $9 for this small pour. All in all, a good place, and great for a group.
