We were a party of six and spent most of dinner fanning ourselves with dessert menus. We even asked for cups of ice and were literally holding them against ourselves to cool down! It became almost comical, but no one wants to spend dinner sweating. One bright spot was our server, who was warm, attentive, and very professional. The cocktail list was fairly limited, but the Passion cocktail was delicious--and thankfully served ice cold. As for the food, the cornbread was outstanding, and the tuna tartare was easily the star of the meal. The other women in our group enjoyed their entrees, but mine was a major disappointment. I ordered the fish tacos based on our server's recommendation. The portion was enormous--three tacos, each packed with fish--but the fish itself was incredibly dry and lacked flavor. I even asked for extra aioli, hoping it would help, but the tacos were still nearly inedible. I ate less than half of one taco. What was most disappointing was that no one acknowledged it. When my plate was cleared with almost the entire meal untouched, no one asked if anything was wrong. I didn't want to make a scene during a birthday dinner with friends, but I also don't think I should have had to pay for a meal that was barely edible. Dessert sounded much more exciting than it actually was. The chocolate brownie was dry, the "Cows in Quicksand" dessert looked unappetizing, the cookies were hard, and the champagne mangoes were underripe. We still had a fabulous evening celebrating with friends, but the dining experience itself fell well short of expectations. Between the uncomfortable heat and the disappointing food, this wasn't the memorable return visit I'd been looking forward to. Dining in a sauna simply isn't on most people's list of enjoyable dinner experiences.

However it did not appear to be cooked in a Paella pan so you didn't get some of those bites of crispy rice and the seasoning was off it had no saffron or tomatoes like I am used to. It was more like a plain rice that they added peas, carrots, and red pepper. Just didn't taste like any form of the paella that I have eaten previously. Jenna our server was awesome and attentive but not overbearing. She was fantastic and made for an enjoyable evening.

There are a few pizza places in the area which also make decent NY style pizzas and locally, they are now competing with Square Mfg on the Detroit style pizzas. Recently, I placed a scheduled online order through Toast for a Large Detroit Style Gambino Pizza ($28 plus tax). I headed over to Natick Center to pick up my Detroit style pizza. My pizza was coming out of the oven and being boxed when I arrived. I headed back to my vehicle, but I noticed the topped signature tomato sauce on the Detroit style pizza was missing. I walked back to Blue Square and informed them. They apologize and take back the pizza and top The Gambino with the signature thick tomato sauce. The Gambino has brick cheese, ezzo pepperoni, hand pinched sausage, ricotta, garlic oil, wild sicilian oregano, 18 mo parmigiano reggiano, and now topped with signature tomato sauce on a thick greased firm dough crust. Also, they hand me a second Detroit style pizza free of charge for the inconvenience, Hot Honey Pepperoni topped with brick cheese and tomato sauce. I enjoyed some tasty Detroit style pizza back at the vehicle. The slices were a bit messy and greasy as expected, and very tasty. I will have pizza for the next few days. They are still training at this location, which they just officially opened on June 22, 2026. I really appreciated the goodwill gesture and making things right. I also earned Toast points on my order and I will be back soon to redeem earned Toast cash at Blue Square Pizza.

He quickly pointed at the next button, don't know if he was going to press it for me or something but I press no thanks and he let out an audible sigh. The place is order at the counter or online and there is booth seating along the wall and table seating. I stopped by Killa Pizza recently, not sure what I was going to order. I walk in and look at the pizza slices. I was told that those slices were sitting in the glass case for over 6 hours and recommended ordering a fresh pie. They offer pickup specials here and I decided on a Large 16" Cheese Pizza ($11.49 plus tax- everyday pickup special). My pizza was baked in a very big pizza oven and ready in about 10 minutes. I enjoyed a couple of pizza slices in the shop and given paper plates. The pizza was topped with a decent tomato sauce and melted cheese (browned in a few spots) on top of a light soft thin crust including with soft firm edge crust. The pizza was not greasy and taste of the cheese pizza was pretty good. This NY style pizza was a good take here in Metrowest.
