We had an employee that has worked for us for 15 yrs. He invited his family and friends. It was about 45 people attended. It was not a pay by the company. This was a celebration. We didn't know that you could only do one ticket if over 10. Lots of the people there had different ways of paying. We only had a credit card and had to take the biggest bulk of the ticket because they don't allow individual families to pay. There were several plant managers there that said they would never come back. Because it would have took us hours to figure what people owed us. It was embarrassing and we just decided to pay the bulk so we could leave. The ticket was over $800. The food was ok. Our broccoli was so salty. Georgia Blue took what should have been a great celebration and ended it in a crash. Because no one knew what to do and pay. If you want to have a group of 10 or more. Get ready to make sure everyone has cash app and your calculator. What a great day to do a meal. They are doing a great job of getting a horrible recommendation. And don't care. read more

I will amend this review once I actually show up and get fed. Got a table for 5 adults and 1 toddler for lunch. Because they do not really abide by social distancing here, we opted to eat outside on the patio to cut our exposure down. We were sat in the middle of the patio where we had no shade underneath the Mississippi midday heat. I understand that we chose this accommodation, but then we were barely served or attended by our server, and had a hot 3 year old wilting in the sun. When I stepped back to the hosting stand, I had to wait several Minutes while two hosts chatted by a kitchen door before addressing me to ask my question. We at least got a round of waters, but then never saw the server again, and had little choice but to call it, apologize for wasting their time and leave to find a place that could serve us in a more family friendly time. I hope to be able to return and actually taste the food, as it looked wonderful on the menu, but I felt they were not worried about at this time. read more

I really enjoyed this place the first few times I visited. Over time, it seems like the service/seating has become insanely slow. The quality is OK but the pricing for quality is just OK. They just opened 2 days ago and were already understandably busy at lunch. We waited a little bit longer than I had hoped for the food to come out but again, I'm assuming the kitchen is working out their kinks. The food wasn't hot but it was fine. The biggest problem they have right now is the lack of parking. They really need their own parking lot. read more

It was a bit overpriced for the quality of food it offers and I do not recommend the shrimp and grits.

We stopped at Georgia Blue for a late lunch on our way through Starkville and had the Philadelphia Pot Roast Po Boy and the Fried Green Tomato BLT. Both were delicious, and our orders came out quickly. Our server, Layton, was friendly and helpful and made sure we always had drink refills without being asked. read more

First visit today. Review is only regarding quality and taste of food. Service and cleanliness of restaurant was acceptable. Price of food would have been fine if quality was there. Duck Wanton app was heavy on the cream cheese and the duck was non existent. Pot roast sandwich had lots of meat but was so dry the flavor had seemed to be cooked out of it. Their $15.00 hamburger was way over grilled with crusty burn on the meat. The fries were fried in old oil that you could easily taste. This is the best weekend meal spot in the GTR, hands down. Apps are awesome, meal selection is tantamount to most in the area, if you're looking for something beyond steak, burgers, or chicken. Great atmosphere, but it's popular so there's a wait to be expected. At the Starkville location, the outside porch is awesome on cool game nights. We went to this restaurant to celebrate our son's birthday. The food was ok. We probably won't go back because of how long the wait to get in was, how long it took to get our order, and the price of the food. The portions of food were ok but the flavor was not worth the price. $20 for three shrimp tacos was a little high considering there wasn't much else with it. Super cool new restaurant in Starkville that is a local MS chain but doesn't feel like it. Atmosphere is fun but still welcoming to families and the live music in the bar area was a nice touch for the weekend. The fried shrimp tacos were super well seasoned and so so tasty. The waitstaff is still getting used to the busy weekend nights but all had a great attitude. Excited to have this spot in Starkville!! read more

I have eaten here multiple times and at different locations as well. I have raved to my friends how great the food is. However, today was not it. We ordered the spinach dip, Mardi Gras, and the grits. When the spinach dip and Mardi Gras came out, it was good. However when the grits came out, the shrimp was completely undercooked and translucent. As I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, my boyfriend ate a bite of it and he said it was "slimy and watery". We told the waitress; she then grabbed the plate and told us they will remake it. We could hear rumbling and loud talk in the back after sending it back. I was not comfortable on eating the food. So we told the hostess to not bring it back and to take it off the check. We didn't not get an apology or anything about how the food came out. The waitress came out with sort of an attitude and dropped the check on the table. Then I saw her talk to her other table asking if they were paying together or separate. She never came back to check on us and didn't refill our drinks. The restaurant was not busy at all. I believe there were only two tables. We ended just just paying and leaving. I am saying this so it won't happen with another PAYING customer. Please be more aware of what you are serving, it can be dangerous; and if a customer has a complaint the waitress/waiter should be able to handle it in a more mature way. read more
