I ordered the mama Geraldi's garden salad to go after working in the yard all day. I was starving. I got the large was 14.95 I believe and it was delicious. I got it with the blue cheese dressing. It came with little tiny, sliced grape tomatoes, sliced black olives, red onions ,artichoke hearts and a dusting of feta which was plenty.. it was Perfect except I could've used a couple more pieces of the artichokes. It was just some of the leaves I think .other than that, it was really good.!! that's gonna be my go to place from now on for salads! read more

Stopped at Geraldi's (at their new location) on the way to the beach today! It was packed, but everyone was patient, the food came out timely and the staff was hustling. Had a Toasted Spicy Geraldi sandwich and it was perfect; crunchy fresh bread, plenty of tasty meat, melted swiss, all the veggies and the right amount of mayo, mustard and Italian dressing. The rest of my family's orders were just as good. Spoke with the owner, Joe and he's very proud of his staff, the new location and his offerings. You can tell by how clean it was, run really well and great food! We had the most amazing experience as a family! The owner of this location is phenomenal! Being a former restaurant owner I understand that you can get great food at a lot of spots. The big deciding factor in a restaurants rating is then left to the service that you receive while their. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We just moved and were exhausted and hungry. The second we wandered in to Geraldi's, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming staff. We both had spaghetti with meatballs, and man oh man! SOOO good. Geraldi's is top notch! We ( my husband, son, mother, and I) were on vacation from the San Francisco Bay area where we have the best of all cuisines available at anytime. The moment we walked into Geraldi's we knew it was something special. My husband and son immediately ordered a slice of pizza for lunch, and we're not disappointed! I was more hesitant as I have an allergy to gluten. That evening my mother and son returned to Giraldi's to have dinner while my husband and I are elsewhere. The next day, after listening to my whole family carry on about how wonderful the food was, I decided to give it a try. We all went in for dinner. I ordered the Caprese salad with an addition of salame and pepperoni. All I can say is "WOW!" During our many trips to Geraldi's while we were in town on vacation, owner, Joe was beyond hospitable. He shared with us the history of Geraldi's (originally founded by his grandfather,) how it was sold off, and how he came to buy it back and now run it himself. The atmosphere was cozy, had a good number of tables for dine-in (take-out was really bustling there too) and the staff was really friendly. The owner mentioned the meatballs were fresh out of the oven, so we ordered 2 meatball heros, spaghetti & meatballs, and anti pasta salad. We stopped here tonight on our way to the coast. Because, In short, it was the only appropriate place in McMinnville to take our three kids, where it wasn't going to cost $150. Food is 4 stars (4 stars based on it being what it is... a low key sandwich/pizza place... I'm not comparing it to trendy/more expensive restaurants). It's good and inexpensive. But I'm a Chicago beef snob. And their beef isn't a Chicago beef. Don't get me wrong. It's really good. But it is not a Chicago Beef. Their giardiniera is good. Portions are HUGE. After stuffing yourself you still go home with an entire meal. So that was awesome for us. Their spaghetti was good for my kids. They were very happy. But it wasn't adult spaghetti good. My husband really enjoyed his pesto sandwich. But their service was great. Everyone was very personable. The owner was talking to customers, helping with orders, etc.... and I appreciate that. My mom owned a restaurant in Chicago for years. And it's very hard work. And it's nice that he makes himself visible to his customers. My husband and I agreed that when we are on our way from Portland to Depoe Bay this will be where we stop to eat (which is about once or twice a month). You didn't blink an eye accommodating special dietary requests. I like your ideas for some new menu options. It should be really interesting. I saw you hand throwing pizza pie dough for some of the pizzas we had. Not many places do that anymore, but YOU DO! Also the giant lasagna was a big hit. There was plenty of food to go around. Was given high recommendations to come here for food. We ordered the lasagna with meat balls and chicken Alfredo. Needless to say the food is over priced for something that tastes less than something from the freezer or can. Service was quick but food not so great. I was sad to be given less than great food from what we had been told by friends.
