Ahi burger, beef burger, sweet potato fries, Brussels sprouts
    Cris I.

Gott's very first SoCal location opened at the Original Farmer's Market in Fairfax. I go to the Grove a lot and had been here way too many times already. The first thing I tried was the ahi burger with sweet potato fries. The other items I love are the chicken sandwich and Brussels sprouts. The ahi taco is also very good. I loved everything so far that I kept coming back whenever I get the chance. They have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. I love the ambiance and atmosphere here. Staff are very friendly. They already know me by name because I'd been a regular customer.

Good neighborhood spot for soft serve. Pretty extensive menus for topics. Not the best quality on the world but scratches the itch for $4-$5. The win-dow at the grove has better soft serve IMO with larger portion size. Staff was very nice, I asked for more sprinkles and they did their best! Will need to come back to try the full Menu. Seating inside and outside is nice. Inside is casual. Validated parking for the farmers market parking lot.

Finally made it to the new location in SoCal and it was just as great as the NorCal locations. Zach (manager) and Whitney (server) provided great service to myself and those seated around me all evening. Super attentive, helpful, and personable. Got the absolutely perfect tuna tacos with their onion rings and the secret sauce + spicy mayo. Great combo paired with game 3 of the nba finals, couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to keep coming back.

On a quest to try all the menu items. This time it was the chicken tenders with a side of sweet potato fries. All good. Also, my dog loves coming here and sitting out on the patio.

The service here is excellent and all the staff are friendly and nice. At first I thought it was an East Coast restaurant, but found it was established in northern California. Today's special was softshell crab burgers, which were done just right. I'm not sure whether any sauce came with it, but having crab just plain was great. Something that surprised me was the Elote served, as it's not common for restaurants having Elote on a Continental type of cuisine. I am happy they did though because Elote is always good any time of day. It's located right next to Dupar's which I consider an anchor store for Farmer's Market!

Teriyaki chicken burger. Gruyère and caramelized onion burger.

I've been wanting to eat at this place for so long, ever since I saw the sign go up at the Farmer's Market at the grove. It opened a few weeks ago, but I was on a budget back then, so I didn't try it. However, I went today, and it absolutely did not disappoint. This place is amazing. The first thing I did was try the cheese fried, and the cheese they have melted on top of them doesn't taste like any other cheese fry that I've ever had. It's a bit more rich and the texture is different, but they put things like jalapeños and other things in it (not sure exactly as I picked the artichokes and just ate the fries because they were in front of me). Next, the artichokes were so good. Half of them came fried, and the other half came boiled with some rubs on them. It was so good and the artichokes paired well with their aioli, along with their Portland sourced ketchup and mustard, hot sauce, their mayo too and also their spicy mayo. I took a bite of my friend's chicken sandwich. I don't like teriyaki. It was ok. It wasn't as sweet as other teriyaki places. But I still didn't like it, because it's teriyaki... if that wasn't on it, I would've probably enjoyed it. The chicken was cooked well. While I was debating between a Cuban sandwich and the Gruyère and caramelized onion burger, I was encouraged to go with the burger. It was phenomenal. The first bite had all the flavor you want out of caramelized onions, mixed with the joys that come with melted Gruyere. The bun has a nice texture to it. They fill up the burger so some ingredients fall out of it, meaning they aren't skimping on ingredients. And the taste is exactly what you want from a burger like that. The service is cool. You order at the counter, they give you a buzzer and you pick up your food from the other side. They have a self service water filter, which I like. The ambiance is chill and big. You can bring pets, but don't let them sit on the chairs, or someone will say something. Probably because all their furniture is absolutely brand new, so I get it, but my friend was a little taken aback by that. But yeah, solid place overall. Definitely coming back.

Teriyaki Fried Chicken Sandwich. The bread was inedible.

Unfortunately Gott's LA is nothing like Napa. We ordered the Ahi burger, fried chicken sandwich, onion rings and a shake. The bread they use is this dry, crumbly, flavorless brioche. It ruined both sandwiches. Apparently they couldn't get the same bread down here so they are serving this. A potato bun would be far preferable or whatever bread they use at their other locations. The onion rings were like something you'd get at a miniature golf snack bar. Flavorless. I'm shocked that they opened without matching the quality of their other restaurants. I'd avoid for a year until they figure things out.

Gott's is definitely in it's soft opening still with some kinks to work out - they were rearranging condiment placements today and weren't sure what to do for carryout containers - but I'm so glad they've come to the Farmers Market! Official opening isn't until March 6th so let them keep working on service issues until then! :) I love the vibes of Gott's which is quick & easy eating with indoor & outdoor seating. It's nice and chill to sit in their outdoor seats doing a bit of classic Farmers Market people watching. Very friendly staff and very on top of cleaning things up around the restaurant! I love that they offer a plain hot dog for $10 as I'm a basic girl. It gives me vibes of being at a friend's backyard BBQ. The sweet potato fries were so good! They are dusted with chili spice and that packs a punch but they come with housemade ranch sauce to weaken the blow. Gott's is known for their burgers first and foremost, so had to try their Californian and just loved it. It was a solid burger - not smash, no pub - just a good ol' 'regular' style burger! It came with a fried egg, gruyère cheese, Zoe's bacon, arugula, balsamic onions & mayo on a toasted sesame brioche bun. That argula was so nice and fresh that it added a really nice balance to the burger. Most important advice = do not sleep on their desserts! Their soft serve is legendary! I actually went with their Cookies & Cream shake made with real Oreos. Their hand spun shakes use organic ice cream & milk and goodness is it good! I had to stop myself from guzzling it down before my food was ready! I also tried their chocolate chip cookie because it looked so darn good sitting by their registers. Loved that, too! Overall I'm so happy Gott's has come to LA! It's a great new option at the Farmers Market with good vibes.

I was so excited to finally try this place since my best friend from NorCal has been talking about it forever. It definitely lived up to the hype. It's such a great new quick-service option at the Farmers Market, and the prices are very reasonable. We tried:: Citrus & Avocado Chop-Romaine & red leaf lettuce tossed with grilled asado spice-rubbed chicken, cilantro-pumpkin seed dressing, oranges, tomatoes, black beans, pickled red onions & quinoa, topped with avocado, toasted pumpkin seeds & Cotija cheese. Ahi Burger-Sushi grade Ahi tuna seared rare with ginger wasabi mayo, Asian slaw & cilantro on a toasted egg bun. Ahi Poke Crispy Tacos-Ahi poke (Hawaiian-style, raw, marinated, sushi-grade ahi tuna), sliced avocado, green cabbage & cilantro slaw, green onions, toasted sesame seeds & spicy mayo in crispy taco shells. 3 tacos per order. Sweet Potato Fries-Chili spice-dusted & served with house-made ranch. Fries-Fried crisp & lightly salted. Caramel Sundae Everything was fresh and flavorful, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. I also love that there's seating both inside and outside, and parking was super easy. I'm already excited to come back and try a different salad next time.

    Chicken teriyaki sandwich Brussel sprouts
    Natalie F.

This is a welcome addition to the Farmers Market. It has some different things to offer and a great dedicated patio. I was able to take advantage of the soft opening and try several items. The stand outs were the chicken teriyaki sandwich, brussels sprouts, garlic fries, and strawberry lemonade. The teriyaki chicken sandwich was topped with a nice spicy slaw. The outer leaves of the Brussels sprouts were deliciously charred and crisp. Service was fast and friendly despite it being the first week of serving. They also generously supported those of us picketing across the street with hot dogs on two occasions. The hot dogs had a nice bite to them and the toasted bun elevated it. Pricing is on par with other places in the market. I can see going for a light meal (or girl dinner) with an appetizer or side and a glass of wine or beer and it being a reasonably priced option. This spot has had a lot of turnover in recent years but I can see Gott's maintaining a lasting presence.

No, not a fan of this place. I ordered the Western Bacon Blue Ring, my spouse ordered the Crispy Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich, and we split an order of cheese fries. We didn't order drinks and the total still came to $43 and change. After paying, we were handed a buzzer so we could pick up our food when it was ready. Right after swiping my card, the screen asked how much I wanted to tip. For what exactly? Taking my order and handing me a buzzer? We found a seat. There was seating inside and outside. It was a nice day, we sat at a picnic style table outside. About 15 minutes later the buzzer rang. I picked up the food, was told where the condiments were, and sat back down. My first thought was: this is what $43 gets you? I hope it's good. I grabbed a cheesy fry first. It should have been cheesy, with some heat from the jalapeños and flavor from the onions -- but none of that came through. It tasted more like a generic sauce than anything else. After a few bites of my burger, I actually wondered if I got the right order. I checked the receipt and the burger. The blue cheese was good, but the burger itself was dry. I couldn't really tell there was an onion ring on it, and I couldn't taste the bacon at all. The staff was friendly, and since it was the grand opening they were clearly overstaffed. While we were eating, we were asked at least three times if they could clear our trash. When I got up to refill my water and came back, my fork had been cleared away with the tray. For $43, I expected a lot more than this.

    The garlic fries are DELICIOUS!

My friends and I had lunch at Gott's Roadside for the first time and it was flawless! Was trying to find a place near The Grove to have lunch which had me thinking about that new restaurant in the Farmer's Market. I was like we can go to Gott's Roadside! Let's check it out! So we did. As we waited for our friend who parked in The Grove's garage, we looked over the menu. A huge menu with so many tasty options that appeases many people. Our friend arrived and look at the menu as well. You can read the paper menu or look at the tall digital wall that has the menu too. We walked into Gott's Roadside where there's cashiers immediately to one's left. They were friendly, fast and helpful. After your order you get a buzzer that buzzes when your food order is ready at the pick up station. What I like about this place is that you pay for your meal...cash or with card ahead of time. You do not have to wait until the end of the meal to divvy up the bill and try to figure out which friend or family members owes for what. The restaurant has a chill upscale diner vibe. Nostalgic items on the walls, indoor and a covered outdoor seating. Outdoor has long, comfortable benches. Our food and drinks were delicious. Great portions when it came to the sandwiches, burgers, garlic fries and onion rings. There's even a soft serve ice cream window you can walk up to and order from! I will definitely come back here again and again!

Great spot to grab a quick soft serve cone! Since moving to LA from the Bay Area, I was excited to see Gott's has finally opened. I was never a huge fan of their burgers but love their ice cream. Great Strauss dairy and fun sundae combinations. Just a note, their outside order window is not open for some reason so you'll have to order inside.

Update lol I did not mix it until halfway through, I added a brown sugar cube and noticed there was still cocoa on the bottom and I got a lot more of the espresso taste, made it honestly much better the espresso was still incredibly smooth and the cocoa was a compliment rather than the main taste still. I tried a clump of the cocoa powder and I think it's because it's not bitter at all, and mild sweetness- very good. The Americano was great, normally it tastes like just coffee and water but this was also blended and smooth For the drinks, the Night Rosée (non alcoholic) was great, it has ume, grapefruit, white tea, and soda. I thought the ice cubes looked great but my mom was not a fan of how little drink there actually was, especially since it was non alcoholic. I think that the blend of ingredients was very thoughtful, the grapefruit shows up but not overpowering, and has a sweetness that makes the drink overall satisfying. The service and ambiance are what MUST be talked about. You come in to a garden wall, mirror prism wall, a beautiful wood themed bar, a room with thoughtfully picked pieces, and a seating area outside that has a view of rodeo drive as well as another seating area that has wine glasses, cups, and everything laid out already ready for those who are getting something more than a drink. There is always calm music playing, and everything just looks cohesive together. In terms of the service, everyone is wearing a white collared shirt with navy crewneck/blazer, and it is clear they are all trained, when we first sat down it comes to the little things, we got served 3 different colored glasses which I loved, they were all themed like the green looked like leaves, the blue looked line lines like water, the orange looked like gems. But the glasses are placed and the water is poured the same way, same side and they move for every single person, rather than just getting all the glasses together. They move slowly with intention, same exact thing with the menus, opened for us

It's the kind of place we keep coming back to and always enjoy. A special shoutout to Oko, our server, who was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and made our brunch even better. Great service makes such a difference, and she went above and beyond. Thank you, Bacari, for another wonderful meal, we can't wait to come back!

Bacari looks small and unassuming from the outside, but the inside has a beautiful courtyard patio…read morewith trees and hanging lights. It was very busy and you definitely need a reservation. Even with our rez, we still waited almost 20 minutes to be seated. The only other thing I did not like about this restaurant (and not much they can do to change it) is that there are only two bathrooms which get veryyyy busy and there is no room to stand and wait so you're kind of in the way the whole time. It's small dish style, so super fun to come with a group and try a bunch of different things. They had a ton of great options for vegetarians! It was a bit chilly outside but they have a lot of heated lamps on which helps a lot. I loved everything we ordered but I think my favorites (as a vegetarian) were the brussel sprouts, salatim, and the elote. The cashew pate and beet dip with the salatim were realllly good. The brussel sprouts were crispy and had a yummy sauce. The beet salad was good but I wanted it to have more of the goat cheese spread. The cauliflower was also really good - roasted and a little spicy. They had a fun list of cocktails and mocktails as well. The food came out at a good pace and I left feeling veryyy full. They were really sweet and even comped the dessert for our party which was very nice. We had the bread pudding and it was sooo good. I highly recommend eating here! It's an experience!
