To begin, the service here is really nice/hospitable and they always greet you with a smile with the past three time I've been here. Food wise you can either order AYCE bowls or you can stuff/squish as much into a bowl as you can. I honestly feel bad at times because people (me included) have spilled some meat,veggies and seasonings on the counter and I feel bad. So I try my best to not do that and I hope whoever is reading this to please take that into consideration or just order the AYCE so you don't have to rush it. But usually for me one bowl will fill me up if stuffed correctly. I forgot to mention there's only two cooks (sometimes) and you'll just have to wait a tiny bit for them to cook it. The food is very good, but we got off on the wrong foot. Even though I saw no sign showing any particular rules, I knew the food would cook down in the grill, and there wasn't room for enough yet-to-be cooked food in one bowl unless I piled it so high that I might easily spill it. I ordered all-you-can-eat, so I saw no problem with taking a second bowl. However, once I did, I was informed of a one-bowl-at--time rule. I was told that if I wanted after cooking, I may add more vegetables. I was furious and almost left immediately. How dare they do this to people who are paying for all-you-can-eat??? Especially since the rule is apparently not posted!!!? It's more reasonable than some places, but not cheap - $19 not including the drink. BTW, they keep the noodles with the grill, behind a wall, pre-portioned!! One guy got around the rule by piling his bowl up to 2-3 times the height of the bowl ...... On top of everything else, the menu says all dinners (yes including all-you-can-eat) include egg drop soup. I was bot offered or given any. When I asked, they offered me an extra egg roll instead, saying they ran out of egg drop soup, that no one was getting it at this time. I like egg drop soup, and their egg rolls were nothing special. I said they should make more soup when this happens. They offered no excuse but merely offered me soup next time I come (they're assuming I'll come again!). My boyfriend and I made the mistake of paying for our meal before checking out the meat and veggies. PLEASE look at their food before you decide to eat here. I have been to other Gengis Khans located at other malls. This one has to be the worst I have ever laid my eyes on. All of the meat had FREEZER burn on it. You can literally see ice bits all over the meat. When I took a first glance at the meat, my stomach became uneasy. It was too late to get a refund and we didn't pay with cash. My boyfriend went ahead and made our bowl as I was watching with anxiety. I was praying that we wouldn't get sick after eating here. The veggies were just as bad as the meat, it was not fresh at all. The guy who cooked our food didn't wash his bands before cooking our food on the grill. Gross. As he was cooking our food, he constantly had to pour water on top of it for it to cook. I've never seen that before and then it made sense because the meat was so frozen!!! When we received our food I honestly was scared to eat it. It tasted meh, the quality and texture of the meat was weird to say the least. It tasted like cheap expired meat. The veggies tasted like it was spoiled. Overall it was not worth the $12.35 that we paid for the combo. I would honestly recommend not coming here, the place has an unsanitary feel to it. Mall food! BF and I usually share a plate since we can never finish one on our own anyway. So I've seen youtube videos on how to stack your bowl to get your money's worth. Use the meat as your wall and line the bowl. Then fill each hole from the rolled up frozen meat with the vegetables! They have your typical types of meat like beef, chicken, and pork. They had an okay variety of vegetables though, but they didn't have mushrooms! How could you not have mushrooms... So a plate is around $9.25. We got ours with beef, carrots, onions, bell pepper, water chestnut, and pineapples. Beef was super dry and everything else was undercooked. Could have used some more seasoning as well since I couldn't really taste any of the sauces that they put on top. They do have soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and hot sauce for you to add though. Service wasn't a problem for us. No one was there when we got there, but they came right out when they saw us looking at the menu and got to cooking it right when we were done stacking our bowl. read more

Trays dirty. Not only old marks but also sauce stains. The kid wiped it with his hand and left the tray. Tongs were inside the food (the part people touches too). Add siracha and enjoy! It was near $8 a bowl last time I went and I really think that's over priced. When I started it was only $5.75 so at this point, whenever I go it is more for the memories linked to my high school days. Today, I think the food is still tasty but not really worth the money. Mall food, but at least you can see that it is real food. I stack the bottom of my bowl with tofu as a base then add all the veggies and I leave space for lots of the water chestnuts. I love them so. The veggies always look fresh and plentiful. I generally order 1/2 the noodles, this way I don't feel the need to over eat. I asked bout the empty spots for veggies, so it looks like some of the options were removed. I think it was mushrooms and ???? but when I asked I was told that the space had always been empty, ummm ok. half the time I go there they forget to give me my water, but it is kinda salty so you have to hydrate. The guy with a beard that took our order was being extremely rude to my whole family. My kids even said "what's wrong with this guy". I saw that he was mentioned in other reviews, one even said that he was particularly rude to Mexicans. The dude was straight up rude to everyone, it's like the presence of people infuriate this guy. I asked myself "is this guy purposely trying to get people to not eat here?" Sadly, I think he is the manager. I would give 5 stars but the drinks are 50-70 cent refills and only one refill per cup! Nevertheless I love this place. I usually go with my boyfriend who is really picky so the only vegetables we get are carrots and broccoli. I've never had a complaint with the vegetables. We get pork since it stays nice and juicy through the cooking process. I used to get beef all the time but I notice now that it's really rubbery and the pork is sososo much better!
