I had a great experience getting a full wheel alignment done at Giant Bull Custom Auto House in Newark -- and it was worth the drive from the Peninsula. First impression: this is the biggest auto shop I've personally used in the Bay Area. Because of the size, it can be a little confusing at first since they have two locations across the street, but once you're at the right spot, the process is very smooth. I arrived around 9:30am and the car was ready by about 10:00am. They gave me a printed before-and-after alignment sheet, which I really appreciated because it clearly showed what was out of spec and what they corrected. After the alignment, the car drives noticeably smoother and more stable. For context, I had replaced 4 tires at America's Tire (they don't do alignments anymore). I tried a big chain first because the online appointment estimate said about 1 hour, but after I drove there they changed it to 3 hours. Even after waiting, they still couldn't complete it on time, so I ended up leaving without getting the alignment done. Not a pleasant experience. Giant Bull's price beat the other options I checked, the turnaround was fast, and the work quality was excellent. If you need alignment in Newark (especially for a Tesla Model 3), I highly recommend them. read more
