There are many things I like about this location, including friendly staff, prompt delivery, and good food. I have ordered delivery from here many times. One of the best things about this place IS the pizza! They cover it with cheese, they utilize a semi ample amount of pepperoni, and the crust is out of this world. They brush on this butter garlic and basil sauce, which makes crust a pleasure to eat, when I usually toss it. I have ordered a cheese steak sandwich many places, including Philadelphia. Most of the outfits around here (including GPK) make it with mozzarella and not cheese whiz. For vegetable pairings, I have seen anything from bell peppers to mushrooms. This sandwich has both! The bread is flavorful and fresh, but a little greasy. The meat is tender, there's no unpleasant "crunch" of sinew or gamey trimmings not fit for human consumption. As a whole, I enjoy the cheese steak from here, but there are certain things I can think of that could make it better. If you are craving a quick delivery of some pizza and a sandwich or some jalapeño poppers, call GPK. You won't be disappointed. I have been here many times and the quality is consistent. This place is incredible!! I only really post when I really feel the need and this man takes so much pride in his hand made pizzas. I watched him make the lady before me gluten free pizza and also mine, he places the toppings with such care you can tell he loves feeding his customers!! The pizza is amazing it had like some type of garnish on top a little bit I can't tell what it is but its really tasty. Try this place you will be very pleased. Best pizza in Santee? There is something very special going on here. From the first bite, it's the cheese, it's tastier than I have come to expect on a pizza. Maybe my taste buds have become accustomed to Little Caesar or Costco. Then the last bite, the crust; yeasty and chewy, but there are herbs in there too. Awesome. We were in town camping at Santee Lakes and had a late day...too late to cook. Looked up local pizza. Lots of "Giant" pizza establishments. Im glad we picked this one. First of all, the customer service when we called to order was EXCEPTIONAL. He asked appropriate questions to help us decide what we wanted. We ordered basics for the kids and a Mexican pizza with half jalapeño. ALL the pizza was amazing. The pepperoni was exceptional. The sauce was good and the crust was perfectly cooked. We even had antipasta salad. Ranch was so-so but who cares. We had our own. Was fast and hot. Delicious. Will be back next time we are in town. read more

Very good pizza. Reminds me of pizza hut's cheese mixture/texture. Medium crust, definitely not New York style. Wings are fine, basic. Good salads, too. The people are great and the service is fast. Call them for delivery, ask about or google their "Double King" meal deals. They always tell me an hour for delivery and then are here in around 40 mins. Wouldn't put them up against the best pizzas in SD, if you want New York style in Santee you can find it. But they're real good and the prices are fair. read more

We ordered pizza last night from Giant Pizza King as it's close to home. Should have read more reviews before ordering. The 2 large Pepperoni pizzas were not that good. There was NO Pepperoni on half the slices and maybe 2 pieces on the others. Sauce had no flavor what so ever, while the crust was ok, it didn't make up for the lack of Pepperoni. If you're going to charge for a Pepperoni pizza make sure it's on the pizza. If we wanted cheese pizza would have ordered cheese pizza. read more

This used to be me and my family's go to place for years. Just about one of the best pizza places in Santee. But the last year or so something has changed. Flavor is no longer the same and the toppings are weakly added. My parents recently bought a giant pizza and asked for pepperoni and mushrooms, after I had warned them not to go to this place anymore. When they opened their pizza, the mushrooms were missing, telling them they never said mushrooms. The pepperoni ratio was sad..about 1.5- 2 per slice. Moved into the area about a year ago. Wife has a gluten allergy. This is NOT a preference but an actual allergy - medically diagnosed. So glad they offer a gluten free crust. Place has been hit and miss for the past few orders. always something wrong. For example, ordered wings with buffalo and got bbq or they missed a topping on a pie. So tonight was last straw. Ordered a gluten free pizza and when we went to picked it up it wasn't gluten free and had to wait. Also ordered a supreme minus the onion and guess what, it had a onion. I got few pizzas that were good here but they lost a customer tonight. They wanted to charge full price for two toppings to put one on one half and the other in the other half a pizza. I asked why they'd allowed this before and they said they never did (they did and I have the Grubhub receipts to prove it) and in the most disinterested voice the kid said that's just how it is. Let me start by saying that the service here was great. I ordered online and went in to pick up the food. It was ready on time and what I asked for, and the people working were super polite. The problem I had was the food. It's just got a cheap, greasy taste and appearance to it. I love pizza, but we just couldn't eat more than a slice each because it just isn't very good. Very much like Little Ceasars, the frozen style dough just leaves it all so bland. We also got the chicken parmesan, which we didn't like. The noodles on the bottom were super soggy mush, and the chicken was a frozen fried breast they chopped up and melted cheese over the top. The sauce is good, but if you want chicken parmesan, best to leave it to an Italian restaurant in this case. It came with 2 slices of "garlic bread" which is 2 pieces of sliced white bread toasted with garlic butter. read more

Happy enough with the service and food. Have only ever had the food delivered, but it always came under 30 min. The pizza is fine, never steered from the typical fare of toppings, but I've no complaints. Pizza was hot, had the right toppings and the cheese was good as expected. Would like the crust a bit crispier, but thats mainly preference, it was still quite good. It has a nice buttery flavor to it. Have also had the wings. I dont like my wings doused in sauce, so I'm happy it came dry per my request. It may also look smaller than usual, but i think too often other places bread the hell out of wings and obscure the size to make it look bigger (and charge more). And the wings were good too. They provided ranch dipping sauce - some may not like it, has a bit of tang to it, but it works for me. Overall, no complaints. I'm quite satisfied with that. read more

I really wanted to love this place. All of the other reviews really made me excited to try this place. Hubs and I are on the look out for new pizza joints all the time. The cheese pizza was really good. Our 4 year old is a cheese pizza guru. He ate 3 pieces and announced that it was "best pizzas ever!" We also ordered the Pesto Sauce Pizza for us, and it's supposed to have Pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, chicken, red onions, bell peppers, artichoke. sadly, the Pesto Sauce seemed to be missing most of the ingredients (like garlic, basil, pine nuts), and it was just greasy and had no flavor, but it was green. The topping were mostly peppers and artichokes. I had one piece. I couldn't choke down any more. Really good crust (not too thin, not too thick, crispy and chewy at the same time). Quick delivery. Very sweet, quaint establishment. Staff are all around genuine people. We've been coming here for years now and stop by every once in a blue moon. We love getting their Philly cheese steak since it's the only shop that sells them within a 5 minute drive. Im gonna go ahead and give this place 5 stars for several reasons. The same reasons that even though I havent even finished the pizza I just got im feeling inclined to give a review. Called ahead since I was on my lunch break to see if they had any pizza by the slice. The gentlemen says yes and asks how many and says about 10 minutes for 2. After waiting a quick 10 minutes for my pizza he hands me a box that I expect to have 2 slices in....nope instead there is a full small pizza basically (see picture)!! The owner was very kind and genuine and insisted I get a pop as well. I got sooo much for less than 5 bucks it was incredible. This is why I love mom and pop pizza shops. Yes its in a strip mall by the church and yes theres seating (a few booths). The pizza was yummy and the special was such a bargain! Please do yourself a favor and try it out! read more
