We came here with a group and ordered a variety of things off the menu. My husband and I ordered 1/2 order of the Iraqi kebob plate, hummus, falafel, and tea. Our server was very helpful and friendly, and was able to make accommodations for my food allergies (I'm allergic to nuts and sumac, both of which is used in menu items). I really enjoyed the kebob and hummus. The kebob was very juicy and flavorful, esp with the garlic sauce. The falafel was well made, but I personally prefer them to have more herbs. So after my daughters soccer practice we was looking for a spot to have lunch. I found this place and we decided to try. It's tucked in a bit beside a small grocery store. We walked in and every table are number and we wasn't seated so we sat ourselves. Wasn't greeted or anything and menu was already on the table. Me and my daughter waited and were about to leave then the waitress (only 1) came to us. She didn't really explain much or greet us just brought a small soup and silverware. So we decided to stay and give it a shot. The menu was hard to understand and there wasn't much picture to look at. So we asked her what does she recommend, but there's some language barrier. It was basically what do you like to eat (meat). So we went with some appetizer (not sure what it is, but had a picture). And some meat kebab. We waited a little while for our water which was bottled. The food overall was good not great and to us lack seasoning. We didn't know what to expect to be honest considering our first time at this place and my daughter's first Mediterranean food. Went here yesterday for dinner. Very courteous staff. They served us lentil soup immediately after sitting down which was nice. The menu is QR code. We ordered a chicken wings platter, lamb ribs, and mixed grill platter with lamb kabob and chicken tikka. We also sampled their homemade yogurt drink which was similar to turkish ayran. A few minutes after ordering they informed me the ribs weren't available. No biggie. We still went with the wings and mix grill. Mix grill came out after about 15 minutes and the wings came up 10 minutes after. Mix grill was solid. Lamb kabob was a bit chewy and slightly bland but the tikka was good. The wings were REALLY good. They put the right amount of char and squeezed just the right amount of lemon. I wanted to get half a rotisserie chicken to go and they said they'll let me know when it's ready. 10 minutes later they said they ran out which was a bit of a bummer. Would have been nice to try those 2 but i guess these things happen. Overall a good experience. I would consider going back here if I was in the area but wouldn't necessarily drive out of my way. There are quite a few Iraqi places in the area but for kabobs this a solid option. read more

Came here craving some Middle Eastern cuisine and based on previous good reviews. Service was pretty quick at the beginning and the food came out very quickly in the blink of an eye which was slightly concerning. The lentil soup they start you off with is well balanced and smooth. The eggplant tahini we got as an app was decent, little heavy on the garlic and olive oil. It came with a huge round piece of bread. My partner had the lamb kozi which was pretty good with tender meat and flavorful spiced rice. I had the beef shawarma that was utterly disgusting. It was definitely low quality meat full of fat. There was a greasy taste to it, I could barely make a dent in it even with the pomegranate molasses. And then when it came time for us to ask for the bill it took forever. The one poor girl working as a server had to take care of 3 different parties. Meanwhile the other two guys that were supposed to be helping her were just chilling outside on the patio chatting it up. I have been to this restaurant two times. The first time, a waitress seated me at a table and I ordered Lamb Kozi. It was very delicious. Almost too much for me to eat. Since I was going to a poker night at my friend's place, I ordered hummus and falafel; both were a hit at the party (and they were quite tasty). The waitress was very kind and offered me free hot tea; another waiter came to the table with the tea and prepared it for me since I told him I did not know how to do it. The second time I showed up, everyone was equally kind. I ordered a different dish with a variety of meats. It tasted so good. I could not finish it but got a to-go bag. Their food in general is pretty good and their mixed grill was very tender and juicy with the right level of spices. The complementary lentil soup was much appreciated. They even offer you tea after the meal and everything just tasted perfect. The food portions are good and their prices are highly competitive. We came back for their food,hospitality, and atmosphere.Everyone who served us made us feel welcomed. Rida and rania were great people,both are very good at their jobs. Whoa, I was reading the negative reviews, and I never experienced any issue like the ones recently mentioned. I've dined here three times so far and each time the service has improved, although I would not say the service was ever subpar at any point. When you walk in, there's no one at the door to greet you, but the workers towards the kitchen or the register will greet you verbally from afar. You then sit wherever you'd like and a menu is brought to you. I don't sense disorganization from the staff and have not had any issues with my orders being incorrect or brought out at vastly different times. Regarding the food, certain items are definitely delicious and some others I would pass on. Their Iraqi kababs are hands down the best item on their menu that I've tried so far. I did not like their lamb kabab as the meat smelled too gamey for me compared to their competitors. Their shawarma is good, but, honestly, their direct competitor wins in this category. I've also tried the chicken kabab (ground chicken), tepsi (eggplant dish that isn't listed on the menu), dolma (various veggies and grape leaves stuffed with rice and ground meat), babaghanoush, and different rice options. They make their own bread here too, and they have a special smokey yogurt drink (my friend me says it tastes just like the ones she tried in Erbil). All of these were delicious. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable. I will continue to dine here, and I would like to bring my friends and business associates here for dinner as well. read more

We started with lentil soup. The hummus was silky smooth, the oil flavorful and the Lavash fresh. The giant portion of lamb Kozi on a bed of rice was tender and the okra side dish was unlike anything I've had before and amazing! It also came with a salad plate. The perfectly grilled lamb Tika was served on a bed of rice with fresh grilled tomato and onion and pickles and onions on the side. I highly recommend this place. Wow! What a find! My husband and I were visiting from out of town and found this gem. It's only been open for about a year. The interior was sooo interesting and the staff could not have been nicer. The other customers were all Middle Eastern, speaking other languages, and we were the only "gringos" (sorry, I know this sounds cringe but am trying to paint the picture here in best way I know how...no offense intended). We felt a bit out of place but the waiter made us immediately feel welcomed. Right off the bat he made some recommendations that we went with and were terrific.
