Bomb.com!! Wait time was decent. Costumer service was amazing, very friendly and polite. Host "gentlemen at the front" did not get his name but he was so helpful and funny. My favorite sushi place! Staff Reviews: Always friendly with a smile on their face. I have yet to encounter a rude employee here. I've been coming here for sushi for about two years, so that says something! Facility: The place is a little small with two TVs. They play loud music when celebrating a birthday, but other than that the music volume is low. Decor is a little out dated but that is fine! The teriyaki beef plate was extremely overpriced considering the amount of fat on the meat. We were given one small wasabi which was too bright green with 4 rolls...just not enough. The most awful experience I've had at a restaurant in my life. I come in with my one and seven year old daughters and order two all-you-can-eat dinners. He responds with, "you mean three" and points to my infant daughter. I tell him she's a baby, and will only have a few bites. He responds with, "we actually charge for food here," like Im trying to be cheap by sneaking free food for my baby. Apparently this restaurant is loosing massive profits to families feeding infants with their "stolen" sushi. I try to reason with him before things escalated. He consistently treated my family like thieving dogs. I don't often get angry, but the disrespect that he showed my family was enough for me to start breaking down walls! I walk out of the restaurant and hear him say "never bring your fu@$ing trash family back." ...Gladly... I won't be back, and I'll make sure that everyone hears about it. Food is pretty good and most of the time the service is friendly but today I ordered California tempura to go and when I got home I opened it and saw it had mayo and other sauces and I called them up and said"sorry I was there earlier and I didn't know there was going to be mayo on my sushi can I come back and get it replaced with one without it?" THE CONFRONTATION Ok so I had a customer service issue with the night crew in my previous review....I went to resolve the issue with the owner and ended up talking to the owners son who I'm usually cool with but the issue was with his brother and if you're reading these yelps the hands in the face karate chop lady is his cousin... so he pretty much made it worse we started arguing about clumps of rice he tried to offer my 10 bucks back which I declined NO THIS IS NOT ABOUT MONEY his brother was rude and handled the situation with with no tack....end result he stated "If you don't like it here don't come back" Mmmmkayyyyy fine by me obviously this place is going down hill anyway, if I had the time I'd go get 100 workers from Home Depot and picket this place (I'm not saying that just to talk crap but my two favorite baked salmon and scallop rolls are not the same quality plus all the negative stuff I'm reading here) read more

The audacity. This place has the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. We waited for over 40 minutes with no check in no drink refill no bill absolutely nothing as if they were completely ignoring us. And then an earthquake hits and we're scared so we throw money down and run out because lord knows our crap server wasn't gonna come by and then next thing you know she's chasing us out the door. Our FAVORITE sushi restaurant hands down! The options on the all-you-can eat menu are amazing especially at dinner time. Some selections are only available then but that's ok -- it's nice they don't fill you up on tons of rice. The food always comes out very fast. My kids love the teriyaki chicken and noodles (great since most places only serve chicken with rice). We are regulars and leave very happy and satisfied every time! We absolutely love Gin Sushi. Yesterday we ordered for takeout and everything was perfect. Our order was ready early and it was delicious! The Mexican roll and the baked Alaska tied for my favorite. The Mexican roll is crisp and refreshing with lots of flavor and the baked Alaska is hot and super savory. So thankful these guys are open through all this going on. I work at a very popular shogun in palm springs, I love sushi and decided to try this place out because my bestfriend loves it. I ordered the golden tiger roll with no crab instead I wanted jalapenos. But they still charged me for adding jalapenos but not wanting fish.....ummm? The tempura is the texture of cornmeal, it is not flakey nor crunchy. It was also over fried. The shrimp was disgusting. It was not cooked all the way and tasted fishy..so I didnt eat it but was still charged for it. The edamame was free but was served cold. Which I've never seen before. There was no where on The menu that said that the spider roll came with octopus. It did say that it was suppose to come with shrimp. Then I called to ask a question about my order.
