We really enjoyed our time at Gina's kitchen for a few reasons. First, were warmly greeted by Mare before we even stepped into the restaurant. Mare really took care of us the entire time there. We enjoyed the open and light atmosphere, the music. Everyone liked their food, especially the potatoes. My only critique was the potatoe leek cakes were a little over salted. I've been to Gina's Mexican Kitchen multiple times--both for takeout and dining in--and the food is always amazing! The staff is super friendly, and everything I've tried has been delicious. My absolute favorite is the birria grilled cheese, but the chicken panini and machaca are also great. Their homemade salsas are packed with flavor, and the lattes are a nice extra touch. Brunch is a must here! The lemon pancakes with blueberries, lechera pancakes, banana pecan pancakes, and berry French toast are all fantastic, but I think the lechera pancakes are my favorite, with the French toast coming in a close second. It does get busy, so I recommend checking in ahead of time. They also have a cute little patio where they allow dogs, which makes the experience even better.
