Amazing Thanksgiving catering experience. Wife been following them for a while. Since we are hosting family total of 8, she decided to try it out for not only the convenience but also finally we get to experience the highly rated catering for the first time. Best decision ever Turkey was tender and not dry. Pleasantly surprised. We ordered prime rib upgrade and it was so good. Perfect add on to the Turkey and ham. Ham was awesome too it has mustard and golden raisins delicious combination. Salad, stuffing, mashed potatoes are all wonderful and with plenty of sauce, condiments. The pick up was great, we saw the organization and efforts put into scheduling and order fulfillment. Thanks and highly recommended read more

This place is worth the wait, food is made to order, portions are big and the food is delicious. We had the traditional French toast and the Caballeros steak and eggs, michelada and berry sangria. I don't know how to explain this comfort feeling once you taste their food and drinks are on point. Mari is our favorite serve. She's the best. Definitely a place for you to go check out. read more

Wow, I stumbled on this location while driving through the area and figured I'd stop by for some coffee. After sitting down, I noticed their menu had some great food options so I ended up grabbing a bite too... and wow Gina's Kitchen did not disappoint! Also worth mentioning, our server Havana was incredible! She was kind, attentive, and gave great menu recommendations. This is a perfect study spot- especially if you sit at the "coffee bar." We came here for a family breakfast and it was amazing! I wish they make reservations because It gets extremely busy up to a two hour wait, but it's definitely worth it. They have great prices and the food portions are humongous! The service is on point and very attentive, even though they can become extremely busy. We got quoted an hour and 15 minute wait and they sat at us just on time. The restaurant is super small, so be prepared to be in a crowd. However, the music is super alive and vibrant. Be prepared to dance. If it's your birthday, I definitely recommend coming here. They give you a small cake play a birthday song and get you up to dance! Also, those food is very well seasoned with whatever dish you get! read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. Everytime I drive by, the parking lot is packed, people are waiting outside and the patio is filled with people eating. My sister and I came here on a Wednesday around noon. It was so crowded, but we chose to sit outside (on a very windy day) but made the best of it. Our waitress Mari right away greeted us, she was a wonderful server. I chose the breakfast platter French toast and my sister got the breakfast croissant it came with a salad on the side. The food came out quickly, I was bown away with the serving size!! I loved the scrambled eggs, the the potatoes were so yummy. The sausage and bacon were very tasty. The fresh toast looked delicious with the fruit and Chantilly cream, but I'll be honest it was barely warm. It was OK, I thought the french toast would have been better. My sister really enjoyed her breakfast croissant, she mentioned her salad was very delicious. We both took home our left overs, we only ate 1/2 of our food. I definitely want to come back and try more food! Everything looked so yummy. I think I'd come during the weekday after lunch time. I'd definitely not come on a weekend, too busy for me. Attempted to have breakfast but the wait was too long and I am impatient. Returned during dinner time and was surprised to see that it was not as busy as it is in the morning for breakfast. All of our food choices exceeded our expectations. At first the prices see a bit high yet when you taste the food, you understand why. We were checked on consistently as we dined which I appreciated. Water was provided for the table and the overall ambiance was very calm and enjoyable. I had two picky eater with me and they finished their entire meal. I would highly recommend this location for families as they do have a children's menu. Did not get to take a picture of the mousse cake because it was quickly devoured. read more

My wife and MIL and I came in today for a late breakfast. I added the 3 of us to the waitlist on Google and there was 10 parties ahead of us. I think we waited about 35 minutes and this place was busy all the way till the 3pm close. We all loved our food and despite how busy they were our food was out fast and orders were correct and our server Vanessa was very polite. We found ourselves dancing in our seats to a few good songs played overhead. Coffee was good, I really wanted a latte but with the pancakes I got I opted instead for just a cup of coffee and they had flavored creamer cups which was perfect!! My wife said her French toast had funnel cake vibes and she loved it. The whipped cream here is something else too. Yum!! read more

Ginas Kitchen + Catering is the bomb! So much food and very reasonable prices. My friend and I shared the French Toast Combo and Huevos Rancheros. Everything was delicious and just the right amount of food for the two of us. We didn't have a reservation, so the wait was about 35 minutes. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. This place is always packed on weekends. Just a heads up, do not bother calling on weekends because the phone is not answered. So not sure you can even place a Togo order. I had to drive down to put my name in and then head back home to wait. I signed up at 11:30 a.m. and was finally seated around 12:46 p.m. The food is definitely good if you are willing to wait. Where they get you are the add ons: $5.50 for two eggs (that's how much a dozen costs at the grocery store), $6 to add chorizo, and $8 to add chile verde to my breakfast enchiladas (it was not a big side by any means, but it was good). This place is definitely on the pricey side when it comes to breakfast restaurants. Service was great today even with how busy it was inside and outside. If you are hungry, plan ahead because you will wait. read more

First time at Gina's--and it won't be the last! My family and I came in for breakfast and we all agreed: the food was truly great all the way around. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell the kitchen knows what they're doing. The service was just as impressive--friendly, attentive, and on point the whole time. Our server had a great attitude and kept everything flowing smoothly, even with how busy the restaurant was. It was a full house while we were there, so the space felt a little tight and the music added to the overall volume and turned up a little to loud for my taste, It's got a lively atmosphere for sure. One thing I'm curious about (and plan to ask next time) is whether they use seed oils in their cooking--just a personal dietary note. Overall, we had a great experience at Gina's and can't wait to come back again soon for another round of breakfast. We visited this brunch spot today and although the wait was almost two hours, it was definitely worth it. The food was really good. We ordered the Chilaquiles Verde and Rojo, and both were delicious and full of flavor. One thing I really appreciated was that the chilaquiles still had a nice crunch and weren't soggy at all, which is rare compared to most places I've tried. We also shared the French toast plate, which was just as good. For drinks, we had a hot latte and an iced latte--both were great. Our server, Vanessa, was very attentive and kind, which made the experience even better despite the long wait. Next time, I would probably ask for the carne asada to be pre-cut, just because it was a little difficult to cut on top of the chilaquiles, but it didn't take away from how good the dish was. I would definitely recommend this place--just try to come earlier to avoid the long wait and, if possible, avoid sitting in the bar area. read more

We had a chance to find this place on the recommendation from our Hotel desk clerk when we asked what time an adjacent restaurant would open. He gently steered us in recommending Gina's and I am glad he did. We ordered Avocado toast and their Omelet and we were surprised at the very large portions, they were huge and tasty. I really wanted to give the place 4-stars or even 5. The staff was good, food was fine, and prices all affordable but the place had one problem. Initially, I wanted to eat outside and enjoy some summer breeze with my family. However, there were too many flies attracted to our meal. I was not sure whether it was due to this restaurant or its neighbors. Unfortunately, the flies followed us inside during our meal as well. It may be a non-issue in the colder months but it was a noticeable nuisance during our meal.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Gina's Kitchen and Catering a few times now, and on each occasion, I've been met with the most delightful and attentive service from the same server. However, my recent experience left me feeling conflicted due to an interaction with the owner, which impacted the overall dining experience. Last week, I decided to bring some friends to check out the restaurant, and I was delighted to find that our usual server was there to assist us once again. However, our initial encounter with another staff member, an older white lady with a big hair bun, was less than satisfactory. Her lack of warmth, failure to introduce herself, or offer any guidance on the menu left us feeling unwelcome and unsure. After a brief wait, the lady returned to take our order, and her demeanor remained far from pleasant. She seemed disinterested and appeared to be forcing a smile. It was only when we inquired about her role that we discovered she was, in fact, the owner of the restaurant. This revelation was quite surprising, given her approach to customer service. Once we finally placed our order, the food arrived with delicious flavors and impressive presentation. The dishes, including the Pork Chuletas, Salmon Benedicts, Avocado toast, and French toast, were undoubtedly a highlight of our dining experience. Despite the enjoyable food, it was disappointing that the owner never made an effort to check on us throughout our meal. Our usual server, on the other hand, was proactive in ensuring everything was to our liking and making sure we had an enjoyable time. Upon further observation, we noticed that the owner, in addition to being the owner, also served as a server herself, primarily focusing on the bar area and a large party seated in the middle of the restaurant. This seemed to explain why she neglected her other tables, including ours and those at the bar. It's disheartening to see her prioritize certain areas while ignoring others, especially when there are several servers working on the floor who could have attended to those tables. The most concerning aspect was the possibility that she might be taking tables from her servers and pocketing their tips. As a patron, it's incredibly upsetting to witness such behavior. The owner should prioritize checking on customers and ensuring their satisfaction, not taking orders and potentially withholding tips from her hardworking employees. While I'm a supporter of small businesses and have enjoyed the delectable food at Gina's Kitchen and Catering, I find it difficult to endorse a business with such questionable practices. No matter how great the food is, mistreating employees and neglecting customers is unacceptable. I sincerely hope the management addresses these issues and ensures a more equitable and customer-focused experience for all. read more

Seeing as my first experience was amazing, I decided to bring a friend for a brunch date. It was a bit busier than my last visit, so we opted for dining in the patio area. The patio was a bit crowded in terms of the seating arrangement, but we made it work. Both my friend and I were talking about matcha beforehand, so it was only fitting that we try out the iced matcha latte. The presentation of the drinks was beautiful, having the Biscoff cookie as garnish was a nice treat. However, and I hate to say this, it was seriously lacking flavor. The strawberry and ube flavors hardly came through and the matcha was underwhelming. Pair this with the drink melting because we're dining outside, and it was just a watery drink with soggy cookie at the bottom. I would not recommend for someone who really values a quality crafted matcha latte. As for the food and service, it was hit and miss this time. My friend had ordered the Chilaquiles Divorciados with steak based on my recommendation and when the food came out, we had to ask for the steak. The beans were also underwhelming, likely because they were not HOT hot, as preferred, and lacking some flavor. The machaca omelet was definitely a hit! The meat was done well and a good portion of it was served with veggies inside the omelet. This was a great choice for lots of protein. I also found my potatoes to be a lot better than my first visit - more flavor and cooked perfectly. Overall, I'd still recommend Gina's Kitchen for a savory and hearty brunch. read more

Ginas is a hidden gem in rancho! I'm visiting family here in the IE from North Carolina and they had raved about a new brunch spot.. Now I cannot stop coming to Ginas kitchen! My favorite by far is their French toast along with their papas bravas! My husband is absolutely in love with the chilaquiles especially because it comes along with a good amount of steak! The Spanish latte is the kind you'd want every morning!!! My son loves the smiley face pancake everytime. The staff/ service is some of the best! No matter what day or time you go in they always have greeted me with a smile on their faces and make me feel like no request is too big. Starting with the host Frankie I believe is his name, he makes you feel welcomed and tries to get you seated in a timely matter if possible. Sometimes they have a wait which is expected with amazing food! It's worth it Every.Single.Time! Marelis is an amazing server.. She will constantly check in on you to make sure your experience is going great and smooth. Definitely will be so sad going back home as there's only one Ginas!! Father's Day Disappointment I truly wish I could comment on the food at Gina's, but unfortunately, I never got the chance to try it. I made a reservation in advance and even had confirmation to show upon arrival, only to be told that my reservation could not be found. The staff kindly added us to the waitlist and estimated a wait time of 30 minutes to an hour something I was willing to accept. However, after waiting over two hours and fifteen minutes without a single follow up call from the restaurant, we ultimately had to leave. Sadly, this was a major disappointment, especially as this was my first Father's Day. My wife had planned this as a special surprise, and we were both looking forward to the breakfast buffet experience. To make matters worse, we had our five month old infant with us. Anyone who's been a parent knows how challenging it can be to manage a baby in extreme heat we were dealing with 110° California weather while waiting this long to be seated. I genuinely hope others have a better experience, but for us, this was not the warm welcome or celebration we had hoped for on such a meaningful day. read more

We had the most amazing experience at Gina's Kitchen and Catering and cannot recommend it enough. We came in as a party of 12 to celebrate a friend's birthday, and from start to finish the service and hospitality were outstanding. Marcos, our server, truly went above and beyond in every way. Not only was he attentive, kind, and on top of everything for a large group, but he made the birthday celebration so special. When the cake came out, he took videos for us, did a fun birthday dance with our friend, and then made sure to send all of the videos to us afterward -- such a thoughtful and unexpected touch that meant so much. The entire staff was incredible. Everyone was friendly, patient, and genuinely cared that we were having a great time. Managing a group of 12 is no small task, but they made it feel effortless and made us feel so well taken care of. We went all in and tried the Hot Chicken & Waffle, Chef's Eggs Benny, Avocado Toast, and Chilaquiles Divorciados. The portions? Huge. The flavors? Delicious. My friend inhaled every last bite of her hot chicken, raving about how it was flavorful without setting her mouth on fire. The beans? Next-level good. Now, let's talk chilaquiles--I liked the green sauce way more than the red (team verde all the way!). Another wonderful breakfast at Gina's. Gina's is great. It's where I love to get Mexican breakfast. We have tried everything on the menu, and it is all delicious. They never let me down! "Have you tried Gina's?" is such an exciting question to ask friends because they know they will get to try these delicious foods and drinks. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the food comes out quickly and tastes great!! This place has a great vibe! It's great for parties and special treats. I really like how food is used here. We ordered a lot of Mexican food and most of them were delicious and had a big size serving . I ordered grilled chicken salad with chipotle dressing and their signature cinnamon roll. Salad was ok . The greens were a lot. The cinnamon roll was not that fluffy and didn't taste that much cinnamon. But the toppings of whipped cream , sugar melted glaze and strawberry on top made the sweetness. I had an absolutely amazing brunch experience at Gina's, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Havana! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel so welcome and was so attentive throughout the entire meal. She recommended the margaritas panini, which was absolutely fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance of crispy and soft. The chilaquiles were to die for too--so rich and packed with bold flavors. Havana also suggested their signature French toast, and it was the perfect dessert to round out our meal. My girlfriend and I came by today for another amazing brunch, the service was so top notch and of course we were taken care of by the one and only Marcos G. He's always amazing and takes care of us to the best of his abilities, he recommended to me to try something new today such as the Rancho Burger. The food always is amazing but his recommendation was just amazing , it tasted so fresh and was so delicious! The ambiance as well is amazing and never seems to overwhelms and actually is so comforting and I feel like it's all family! Marcos is the main server I always ask for because he always just knows how to treat my girlfriend and I so well. I had somewhat of a disappointing experience at Gina's Kitchen recently. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our server was inattentive and made several mistakes. My order was incorrect, I received a dirty cup, and my food arrived after everyone else had finished eating. The food quality was exceptional and made up for the service issues. I ordered the milanesa chicken torta with chips, which was delicious. My family also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. While the service fell short, which is why it earned 4 stars, the food was absolutely outstanding. The chef deserves high praise for the excellent cuisine. Overall, Gina's Kitchen remains a place worth visiting for its amazing food, but there's room for improvement in the service department. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had. The place looked dirty, the tables weren't properly cleaned, and the overall atmosphere felt neglected. The food was even worse--overcooked, flavorless, and borderline inedible. It honestly tasted like no care went into it at all. Portions were small, prices were high, and nothing about the meal justified the cost. Service was painfully slow, and the staff came across as rude and dismissive, like customers were an inconvenience. We had to ask multiple times for basic things, and even then it took forever. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. This place needs serious improvement before it's worth considering. read more

I recently visited Gina's Kitchen for breakfast, and I had an absolutely amazing experience. Havana was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our meal. She had amazing recommendations and made our experience so pleasant! The food was top-notch--each dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend their berry and lechera pancakes which were cooked to perfection. My boyfriend had the chilaquiles divorciados and added birria per Havana's recommendation and loved it! First time coming here and we had a great experience. Initially, we were on a waitlist for 35-45 minutes, however, i received a text saying they can seat my group now. I told them I was 10 minutes away and they still accommodated us. Our waiter was Marcos and he was phenomenal. Very attentive to our needs and amazing with children. He has good vibes and loves to make his customers laugh by joking around. We ordered Gina's Omelette, hot chicken and waffles, spaghetti and meatballs, and a side Caesar Salad. Everything was delicious and amazing, including portion sizes! So much, we have leftovers. Wonderful experience and we will be returning. read more

I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area -- if there's one thing I love, it's a good cup of coffee paired with great food! The ambiance here is upbeat and refreshing, and the service is always so warm and welcoming. It can get busy at times, but with a little patience, it's well worth the wait. On my last visit, I had stepped away to the restroom before finishing my meal, and my plate was accidentally cleared. I remembered this because Iron Skillet has got to be the fastest on the draw in terms of keeping you coffee topped off. I counted in the first fifteen minutes I was there, I had my coffee refilled four times and probably eight times in the span of the forty-five minutes I was there. The only slowdown I saw was when they dropped off the bill. Suddenly after that no one was checking on me to see if I needed more coffee. I guess they figured that I had had enough and were cutting me off. That's a mistake because as long as I'm sitting at breakfast I'm going to want coffee. The second thing I noticed was they have a damn good skillet program here, especially if want to experiment with creating your own. It was something like $15.50 to put in three mix-ins for your skillet, but only $1.50 to make the mix-ins unlimited. This time I kept it simple--sausage, ham, green peppers, and onions along with customary cheddar and three eggs--but next time I'm going to experiment a little. The skillet itself was amazing. The portion was generous, the produce was fresh, and the eggs were super runny. It really is in contention for the best traditional skillet I've ever had. The other thing that could've put it in the running for best skillet overall is if they had some exotic offerings for protein like I've had elsewhere in the country like elk, smoked pulled pork, duck, walleye, or even rabbit. Skillets are good, but skillets with like an animal you don't normally see for breakfast is amazing. I'm still on the lookout for my goat skillet. The service, as aforementioned, was impeccable. The coffee refills is the main thing I complain about other breakfast joints and here I never even had a thought to getting upset regarding that for the first portion of the meal. My only critique as you may have guessed is to continue that generosity and initiative for the whole meal. I really want me to toy with breaking double digits with the amount of coffee refills I receive during a meal. And that's only going to happen if you continue to ask me after you drop off the bill. The ambience is good. It looks like a diner. It quacks like a diner. It's a diner. I felt right at home here with all that space and mix of booths, tables, and counter space. I'm definitely planning my trip back here for that superb Build-a-Skillet and that fantastic attention to keeping the coffee overflowing in my mug.
