We were visiting Laguna Beach for a week and had Gina's pizza three times. The first time we ate at the restaurant. No ambiance at all inside and if you like eating on the sidewalk on the busiest, noisiest street you have that option as well. The lunch special is not bad. A big slice of pizza, salad and a drink for $9.99. The 2nd time we had the food delivered to our hotel. Our family was there so we had 6 adults and 3 kids to feed. Their pepperoni pizza is okay but their house special pizza is the bomb!!!!! Loaded with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, bell pepper and all is covered in yummy cheese! Delicious! Their Caprise Salad is amazing! I had 3 helpings of it and so did everyone else. It was so good we ordered the exact same thing the following night! Their service was good and delivery pretty fast for a friday and Saturday night. (Under an hour) I definitely recommend Gina's, but take it home or have it delivered. read more

The worst experience we had.first we try to order by the phone for delivery and they were pretending that they are not hearing us and when we changed it for pickup they didn't had any problems to hear us. We place the order after 25 min they delivered the order to us which we said we will pick it up... we was at the place to pickup our order and asked for a drink I asked for it 3 times and the guy at the register was not even moving his head then I said sir can you hear me and still no reaction from him, then I waived at him and he said yes I heard you. If you like medium crust, cheesy pizza with a beach view, this is it!! I would add more veggies so not so cheesy. 4 * for pizza and salad is generous and fresh! 2* for inside. I was at my boyfriends in Laguna Beach last night we decided to order Pizza at 8pm online order everything spelled out correct and My bill was $87.00 for a small kids pizza a med of Godfather's pizza and a Margarita pizza. 5 sprites and hot wings with at 90 cents each for ranch ordered it anyway. It was his son who is 6 years old starving and both my boyfriend and I so excited for this pizza. At 9:50 I called the manager he answers with we're closed. I said I know but I did an online order at 8:12 for $87.00 and we still have not received it! He said oh he's out meaning thedriver , with your order it's going to be 15 or 20 minutes so we waited another 20 and called at 10:12 we call again still on his way. Didn't offer anything for the inconvenience going to do anything, so I said no this is almost three hours and out 6 year old kid just want to eat and go to sleep. We did not get our order until 10:50 almost three hours later and then when he arrived we were missing a whole pizza and all the ranch I purchased not inclued. Everything was cold and delivery guy doesn't know where the other pizza is. We call again out 6 old still up waiting to eat at 11pm are you kidding me? on top of the three hour wait. We are missing a whole pizza, of course no answer after its delivered . The worst place ever for 89 dollars you wait three hours, to get cold food, missing a whole 22 dollar pizza and at almost a buck for ranch $5.00 bucks no ranch! We had to put the two pizzas we did get in the oven, the hot wings were not even cooked we had to back again for 30 minutes, no ranch. Like this is Laguna Beach, for almost 90 bucks it better be at least hot, when calling and the manager says nothing wasn't going to discount anything either but after waiting 3 hours and not apologizing at all I took loud and said yeah I expect some sort of did count for the three hour wait. He finally took off the 15% which was the tip I added online. ++++ It's not over, it gets worse, an hour later, this now past midnight we go to take our dog out to go potty and their is the third pizza thrown at our door out of the box on the floor. Wow great customer service. I will be damned if this manager and employee driver think this how you treat customers. The worst first experience ever! I will demand a full refund and make sure this manager who allows this to happen, gets a write up on how horrible his managerial skills are clearly under staffed, underpaid employees who clearly don't care! Seems this is the norm and nothings ever done! Don't order delivery service 3 plus hours or don't expect them to be customer service friendly at all and or get your online order right correct to boot. 5 stars from Husband and son, 2.5-3 from my and my girls so I have an average rating. Service never seems to be in a hurry nor very friendly. Several times where I've seen my order ready and waiting while the cashier continues to take other orders. Prices high for pizza. Sauce is flavorful and portions are big, but I find the crust bland and chewy. Anyway, we alway get it when we're in Laguna because, like I said, by husband and son love it. The last 3 times we've ordered the people answering the phone have been rude. Just called tonight at 8:30pm (they close at 9pm) and the guy answered the phone by saying "Thank you for calling Ginas pizza but we are actually closed right now" I said "Oh, at 8:30?" to which he replied "we have a lot of orders right now and are trying to close". Went in today to just get one slice of pizza to-go. Usually never have a problem with this place but when i got home and opened up my pizza, the bottom was completely burnt. I'm a little shocked they still gave it to me when they knew taking it out of the oven that it was that burnt. read more

Really Really crappy food honestly.. I have no earthly idea why they're rated a 4 1/2 star when there food is so disappointing. Their calzones are also bomb and the best in the area in my opinion now that BJ's doesn't make them anymore. They also have a Coca Cola Freestyle machine with some flavors that are not in your typical freestyle machine such as Orange Vanilla Coke (my personal favorite). Outdoor seating overlooks PCH and is a fun place to catch the sunset on summer nights. As for toppings, I would specifically recommend meatball and pineapple which really add a nice touch to the overall flavor of the pizza. The televisions kept us entertained with baseball and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The pizzas were very good and the menu had a large selection of meals, including pasta and salads. We would definitely go back! Grew up being a fan of Gina's pizza! Loved it being so close to the high school too! It was quick and easy to go there during lunch time and grab food. As a freshman at LBHS I remember not being able to leave school campus, but luckily I was friends with the older crowd and my brother was a senior, so I would sneak away with him and his friends to go eat!
