As a local I'd like to say we love Gina's- make sure you order the ricotta balls!!! (always a win), the rasta salad is bomb, and the pizza is solid. Also, as a self proclaimed ranch connoisseur, it's delicious. If you're in the area I'd totally recommend giving Gina's a try.

Pizza is delicious here! The crust is crispy and the toppings are plentiful. My son and I shared a small Alfredo pizza and it was so good! It was like eating pasta on pizza. The wait time was not bad, even though they were busy. The restaurant location is very small and seating is limited, but we were able to score a seat over looking the ocean. Definitely worth trying if you're in the mood for some good pizza by the beach!

We've dined here before and was much better previous visits. I ordered bruschetta and was absolutely NOT bruschetta just a bowl of cherry tomatoes, then the regular salad had like 4 pieces of lettuce but two giant spoon fulls of garbanzo beans. Then the XL pizza was burnt and had zero flavor. The service wasn't welcoming or even happy, they're super bothered by us asking for ranch. Unfortunately the service and food has gone down hill and I don't see us returning anymore.

The best part; you can order your own custom slice!!! I got eggplant+jalapeno. I wish the eggplant had been more flavorful, but I really liked the crust. Service was friendly and quick. Outdoor patio + indoor seating. You can't really see the water but it's only a hop away.

2nd time to Gina's. Great food! Highly recommend. Been coming to Laguna Beach for a long time and wish we tried this years ago. Friendly staff and cool pizza place.

Stumbled upon this place after a beach evening and honestly the bbq pizza (ask for extra bbq sauce on the side to drizzle) was great! Loved the tanginess of the bbq sauce. We sat out in the patio which was perfect for people watching. And the ocean view was the perfect compliment to our meal!

Thanks for the great pizza, and conversation! My wife and have driven by Gina's at least a dozen times, n our way to Aliso Creek beach. Yesterday we made the choice to get a pizza. We were not disappointed. We had a medium "House Special" which had great flavor and the crust was perfect!

Do you offer happy hour? If so what are the times?

It seems to be seasonal. They don't offer happy hour in the Summer because they already get a high volume of traffic due to their already low priced drinks and pizza slices. Nevertheless, they have great lunch specials from 11-3pm!

Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect those reviews at all. Despite having a reservation, our seating options were either directly on the curb, where traffic and exhaust were blowing toward the tables, or at an indoor table packed so tightly between others that it was difficult to even move without bumping into neighboring guests. More importantly, after placing our order, we waited 45 minutes with no food, no glass of wine, and no communication from staff. No one checked on us. No one acknowledged the delay. We were given no reassurance that our order had even been placed. Meanwhile, multiple parties seated after us were served their meals. We understand Valentine's Day is busy. We are patient people. But being left without service or communication for that length of time is unacceptable. We ultimately left without ever receiving our food. A simple acknowledgment or update would have changed the entire experience. Instead, we left disappointed and unfed on what should have been a meaningful evening. I hope management reevaluates how reservations and kitchen capacity are handled on high-volume nights so other couples don't have the same experience.

One of the specials I ordered last year was a pesto risotto with burrata. It has been months and I still think about this dish - it was creamy and flavorful. Ambiance plays a big role (in my opinion) to a restaurant and not getting to be seated inside or at least on a patio docked some points off for me. For a special occasion dinner, I don't want to be sitting in a parking lot tent. For the price point, I didn't really feel the restaurant quality (plating, service, ambiance) really reaches those expectations. I can tell their food is great, I think I wish I chose something different when ordering. I couldn't tell you exactly what we ordered since I think they launched a new menu just this week but I'll describe it the best I can. Espresso Martini -5/5 Great espresso martini! No notes. Burrata with pesto - 4/5 Light and refreshing appetizer. This wasn't my first choice for appetizer but my partner loves burrata so we got it. It would be really hard to mess this up so I have no notes. $20+ for one tomato was pretty shocking, though. Tagliolini with shrimp and mushrooms - 2/5 To be fair, I've never had tagliolini before so I don't have a reference point of how it should be and maybe it's just not my style. The pasta was thin and flat and very very soft. There was absolutely no bite to it whatsoever and felt like it might be over cooked (again, I'm not expert so maybe this is how it should be). Because of the texture and size it kind of was just one big soft clump on the plate. The shrimp and mushrooms were nice and I enjoyed the sauce but I really didn't like the pasta on this one. And I know plating have any affect of the food but this one seemed really sloppily thrown together and I was pretty sad when it was put on the table. Definitely wasn't pretty or exciting to look at. Pappardelle made w/ beets in quail ragu - 4/5 We really enjoyed this pasta! The pasta itself had a subtle sweetness to it from the beets which made it much more interesting than your typical pasta dough. It had a nice chew, which is what I was really missing in the other dish. The quail ragu was yummy, although we did find a bone but it was large enough to easily pick out and put to the side. Panna Cotta - 4.5/5 Thick and rich vanilla panna cotta with a tart berry compote. Very delicious!

This area just across PCH has always been a convenient place to grab something, but it's even better now that they've closed off the street and turned it into a promenade of sorts. This review is mostly for the vibes. Our waiter was chill and friendly, the food came out quickly and although it's priced for tourists, it was decent. The thin, crispy fries were solid. I lived in Madrid and speak the language, so had you told me that from the beginning, I might have felt different about our dinner!? Should have realized this when the sangria arrived for my wife and she said, "Try it." More like a spritzer than a traditional sangria with red wine, fruit, etc. My Tempranillo was excellent though (1/2 star). For those of you who don't know, "tapa", comes from the Spanish word tapar = to cover. Typically, small dishes of food to share that originated from Southern Spain. The empeñadas tasted OK and only 2 tiny bites per plate. Next, we had the ramoulade, which are small pieces of beets, goat cheese and pecans. Probably my favorite dish of the night if I had to choose (1/2 star). Had the meatball dish and Jamón with bread too, and we also tried the patatas bravas (didn't recognize this dish at all...LOL). Finished it off with the paella (where's the rice???). This was the MOST astonishing dish of the night. About 1/8 the size of a traditional paella dish in Spain (these dishes are NOT tapas in Spain), so we all looked at each other and laughed! And at $40+ dollars, with the lamb chops overcooked, was the worst dish of the night. I know people will say this is California Tapas so what do you expect!? But I was hoping for a good meal to remind us of the wonderful and inventive Spanish cuisine, and this left us wanting a lot more!

The only minor hiccup happened at the beginning. I had called ahead requesting one of the window tables for our birthday celebration because I knew the restaurant has a long, narrow layout where many tables face the wall. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was some miscommunication about the reservation. After speaking with manager Michael, he was gracious enough to work with us and found a solution. I really appreciated that he listened instead of simply saying no. Once that was resolved, everything else was fantastic. Our server Sergio was excellent--professional, friendly, attentive, and paced the meal perfectly. The food was the highlight. We ordered several appetizers to share, including the Hamachi Sashimi, Beef Carpaccio, Roasted Heirloom Beet Salad, Spanish Octopus, and Halibut Ceviche. Every single one was beautifully plated and packed with flavor. None of the dishes missed. For our entrées, we had the Garganelli and the Cavatelli pastas, both outstanding with rich flavors. They were slightly salty, but exactly how I enjoy them. We also ordered the pork chop, which everyone else at the table absolutely loved. The restaurant surprised us with complimentary birthday ice cream, and we also ordered two desserts. The ice cream deserves special mention--it was unbelievably creamy and flavorful, honestly one of the best restaurant ice creams I've ever had. It vanished before I even managed to snap a photo. A couple of things to know before you go: * Parking is difficult, but that's simply Laguna Beach. * Corkage is on the expensive side: $40 for the first bottle and $50 for the second ($10 more for each additional bottle). Overall, Broadway impressed us with creative, beautifully executed food, warm hospitality, and attentive service. Thanks to Michael and Sergio for helping make our birthday celebration a memorable one. We look forward to returning.
