Funnel Cake-2.5/5- I'm not the biggest fan of Funnel Cake,so I'm probably the wrong audience but yeah just didn't enjoy it too much. 5. I normally don't write reviews, but I feel it's important for others to know how Gino's Java operates. At first, I thought it would be a convenient stop for coffee and a bite to eat during my commute, especially since I live in the downtown area. I used to stop by once a week, and while the first few experiences were okay, things took a turn for the worse. One week, I received the wrong order and, when I went back, they corrected it. However, the energy was off--the cooks seemed agitated, and the vibe was uncomfortable. I still gave them another chance and continued to return, but each time, I noticed more red flags. The staff would either mean mug me or make remarks while giggling in the kitchen. This wasn't just a one-time occurrence; it happened every time I went in. On top of that, my food was often poorly prepared--sometimes my burrito was overcooked, other times undercooked. The final straw was when I called ahead, gave specific instructions (due to a food allergy), and they still ignored them. When I went back to address the issue, they were completely unprofessional. I do not recommend Gino's Java. After multiple bad experiences, it's clear that their service and professionalism need serious improvement. read more

Worst establishment I've ever been to. Unbelievably rude service. Save your money and your time. Eat somewhere else where you are appreciated. The coffee is not that good and the food is meh. Prices are ok but honestly it's not worth the little bit of savings for the hassle. There are plenty of other cafes. I wish I would have read some of the other reviews before giving these people my business, but now I know and I will never return. The 2 guys preparing the food in the back were so concerned with laughing and goofing off (singing to the radio) that they managed to mess up my sandwich order. I read some of the reviews and I have to disagree with a lot of it. I think the only thing that I agreed with was that that the coffee was better than starbucks...no question. In addition to the coffee being great the sandwiches are just as good. In a time where chains are running the mom and pop shops out of town I always look to support places like this, especially when the product is worth it as it is at gino's. By the way (to one of the reviewers) is it necessary to call out the nationality of a worker? I found that to be uncalled for. The service has always been wonderful everytime I go. I reccommend stopping by and atleast trying their coffee if not their lunch. read more

The other day I was in line waiting to order and this lady ordered an Italian sandwich but wanted it minus like half the items in the sandwich. The lady working the counter said that she could order the build your own sandwich since what she was ordering wasn't really an Italian and she got all irritated. I can't stand people who think they can order something off the menu and remove almost every item off the sandwich and still call it what it was on the menu.
