I had this bowl at the other location; it was so delicious that I had to order it again here while taking advantage of the offer. It was a literal win-win situation. I customized the Chicken Tostada Bowl with baby spinach, white rice, raw carrots, tomatoes, cilantro, tortilla chips, feta crumble, and antibiotic-free blackened chicken. I included an extra addition of the lime cilantro jalapeño sauce and sweetgreen hot sauce. I was pleased with the execution of the bowl. The ingredients were beyond fresh and locally sourced. The flavor completely satisfied my taste buds. The bowl was portioned greatly, and thus was fulfilling. I enjoyed consuming the bowl in front of the establishment outdoors. This location presented a nice, peaceful environment in the heart of Midtown Sacramento. The parking situation was a bit of a challenge, since the Ice Blocks development is known to be busy in general. I'd prefer visiting the location on Fair Oaks + Howe, for the reason that parking is much easier. However, the Midtown location is just as great and meets expectations. It's nice to know that I can visit, in case I happen to be in the area.

I didn't want to order from the app and order in person to see how the service was, but upon arrival there was no one there to take my order, just an ordering kiosk. So it is best to order off the app for convenience. I've ordered off the app a couple of times and my food is always ready to go. Overall the juice came out a couple of minutes after ordering. I was very impressed with what I've ordered, which was Apples and Ginger. I can taste the quality of the juice, and the fact that it was under $4 was unbeatable. I would highly recommend this place for not only their food items but their beverages as well!

WOW, East Sac is an amazing place full of incredible food that beats suburban South Bay food any day. Selland's has an amazing array of hot and cold food to select from made fresh for their customers. Seating is comfortable and meals are affordable. Order at the counter and then find a place to sit. Your food is brought to you. Water is self service as are utensils. Give it a whirl; parking may be a challenge but just be patient and you will be rewarded with your dining experience here. It was at the bottom of the bowl which kind of made it hard to mix. I wish it was on top of the romaine. My husband said the tri tip was good. Before I even went back to the store to ask for a refund, I called several times and was put on hold for a very long time, with no one actually helping me. That should've been my first red flag. When I did go back in person, all they could offer was a refund--no genuine apology, no concern, no effort to make it right. Finding plastic in your food is a serious issue, and they treated it like I was just unhappy with the taste. Between the plastic in my food, the long hold times, and the complete lack of customer service, I won't be coming back. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters--and Jack's completely dropped the ball.
