Large Asian salad that came in my lunch special.

Love this place! Nice lunch deal includes app, entree and dessert for $20. Happy hours are a really great deal! Good food and service.

Honestly my husband and I were very disappointed with the serving sizes/ quality of the food in relation to the cost. We ordered coke zeros, potstickers, KG sliders, and waygu fried rice and it cost us over $100. The portion sizes are small!! Without the appetizer, we would have left hungry. The grilled onions on my sliders were a joke.. one of them had ONE grilled onion on it. We will not be returning. The food was fine but not worth the $$. **This rating has nothing to do with the staff! Everyone we interacted with was kind and welcoming**

If you're looking for a happy hour where the prices are cheaper than a fast-food drive-thru, but you can sit down, be served, and enjoy quality food, this is the place. I ordered the cheeseburger, which came with fries for just $6 before tax. It features a 1/4-lb beef patty with American cheese on a seeded brioche bun, topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions, and a house sauce. It's a great value for the price, and it's hard to beat getting a freshly made burger and fries for less than what you'd pay at a fast-food restaurant Definitely a happy hour worth checking out.

Came in to enjoy weather on patio and have a cocktail. Weather was nice. Our server was nice but was a little slow getting to us and throughout but it was a casual day and we were not in a hurry today anyway. They have happy hour all day Sunday. Good sushi and a variety of cocktails.

One of the best happy hours I've been to in a while! The prices were so good for the portions you received. My favorite was the chicken fried rice and hamburger. The rice tasted like Benihana, soft, flavorful and plenty of chicken. The burger was delicious too, it was crispy and I loved the special sauce they provided. Our waitress was very nice too! There was no wait when we arrived and the food came out quick. The restaurant was also very clean and spacious. I would come back here for a birthday, anniversary, girls night! I will say the root beer float was overpriced for what I received but I did enjoy it but $17 was like, wow.

While shopping we stopped to get some lunch and it was delicious. My son got the $8 kids Bento Box with 2 cheeseburger sliders, green beans, sweet potato fries and a orange shapes as a bear (cute). I got a Las Vegas Roll with salmon, crab salad and other ingredients. The atmosphere was a low light, low chatter ambiance. Our service was quick and our waiter checked on us, topped off my son lemonade also. He was on it.

Came late after a show due to their amazing happy hour. Our waitress told us that the food would come out so fast! It did not and to make it worse the sushi that was ordered didn't come out I with everyone else's food due to not printing. It was pretty quiet inside so we were wondering what was taking so long. When I asked about the sushi that's when we found out. It was fine, nothing spectacular except for the price. I'd come back and try something else. Best happy hour prices in the area and available after 6pm!

Popped in for lunch after taking a baking class at a nearby restaurant. We didn't have a reservation but was able to get in and seated right away. I come here a lot, it's a large enough restaurant that you can always get seated without a wait. Plenty of seats in the main dining room and in the bar. I like sitting in the bar area and people watching through the patio feel dining area. I got the angry edamame which is a favorite of mine. Along with that I got the cheeseburger sliders that were tasty and the fries were good too. They had a nice crisp with tender inside. Enjoyed the meal and will be happy to come back

Reservation was at 6:45. Finally sat down at 7:15. Restaurant was very loud. We struggled to carry on a conversation. Services did not even come see us until 7:30. Food was good but was over priced! My husband ordered a filet but is was more like a sirloin. Rest of the food was ok. Bathrooms were not clean. Felt like an overpriced AppleBees.

We came here over the weekend to celebrate my aunt's 75th birthday. Let me start by saying the food was great, but the service was a bit slow. The restaurant wasn't too busy at the time, and our table actually had two servers--one of whom seemed to be in training. Interestingly, the trainee felt more efficient than the veteran server. Both were very kind, but we often felt like our table was forgotten. We even had to get up a couple of times to check on our server. That said, the food definitely made up for it! I had the salmon with fried rice, which I highly recommend, and we started with the potstickers--also a solid choice. Drinks took awhile to get to us, but they were very good once we got them!!

Salmon w/ Shrimp Fried Rice

My family and I chose Kona Grill to celebrate my aunt's 75th birthday yesterday. While the food and drinks were pretty good the service was lacking for most of the meal. It took 30 minutes for some people to get a drink at the bar, appetizers took just about as long and came out just before our food. 4 people at the table ordered the salmon dish pictured and all four by portion sizes were vastly different. The second half of our dinner I think the manager noticed our frustration and came over to assist the waiter and the young lady he was training which improved our experience. They made good on the salmon portion issue and added a drink on the house for the wait. The food was delicious and I would go back.

Two flights was plenty for 3 of us to taste what was available. Really liked the Vodka, Rum, Rhubarb and Clementine. We ordered a few cocktails and they were soooooo good! We had the Pool Noodle, Mango, Don't Pistachio in the Pool, Late Night snack, Old Fashioned and Camillas Cocktail (banana). Have to say the Doritos Infused liquor looks like its radio active (bright neon orange) and not so yummy. The drink was okay (Late Night Snack). The Pool Noodle, Don't Pistachio in the Pool, Old Fashioned and Banana ones were AWESOME. Loved our drinks and the fun service. He took time to explain the menu and was extremely helpful when it came to helping us decide on what to get. Everything sounded fantastic especially the starters. I didn't get a cocktail but I did get a lovely cup of hot peach tea that was very delightful. My friend's cocktail was beautiful. We did get a sample of one of the sparkling wines which was very nice. Mt friends ordered several items and I tried most of them. The carrots were my favorite. I ordered the tots and caviar as my main meal. This is definitely the upscale, adult version of tots. The potatoes were very crispy and I was shocked by the amount of caviar for the price. All the food was beautifully presented. And everything came out hot. Meaning temperature hot. You could tell everything was cooked fresh. Overall, it was a great culinary experience. Went tonight after a production at the Booth Tarkington and was really looking forward to relaxing…read morewith an apertif in a cozy setting. We went for a 3:00 show on a Sunday such that by the time we got out, it was 6:00-still early. It was in the 30's outside and already dark (thanks DLS time). Yet as we reached the top of the stairs to the lobby I was immediately disappointed that there was no fire lit in the fireplace. There were only three parties in the place. One was around the corner in the adjoining sitting area and may or may not have been drinking. There were two couples at the bar, where we considered also sitting. But the only empty spot for two had two dirty drink glasses from a previous patron still sitting. So we opted for the leather couch and chair in the main area just across from the bar. And that's where we waited, and waited, for almost 30 minutes, before giving up on getting served (or acknowledged). There was only one bartender, so we were fine with going up to order but communication would have been helpful. We stood at the bar while she chatted with the two couples, who'd all been served. We couldn't really figure out what she was doing as she seemed busy-ish yet wasn't serving, or clearing, or washing, and we were chatting between ourselves and didn't really give it much thought. Then she said she was out of something and was leaving the bar to go fetch it. We asked her to let us know when she was ready to serve us, and we took our seats to resume our conversation. The bartender returned after a while, and she served one of the original couples ... for another 10 minutes at least. Again we were talking so, while an irritation, it was in the background. About 50 minutes into our visit, she came over and took our drink order. This was my third or fourth visit, and I'd ordered my drink, an old fashioned, before and knew what to expect: bourbon of choice, Luxardo cherry, and a dehydrated orange slice. Ten minutes later we got our drinks. Now mind you, my friend ordered a glass of wine. Nothing time consuming about that. She noted that her pour was smaller than the other times she'd been there. Mine came with the whisky cube already on its way to melted, a broken (a.k.a. piece of) cherry and a twist. What? Where's my glorious little crunchy orange wheel of goodness? I had spied them on the bar earlier. No soup for me! Also, and I can't be sure 100% sure of this, but I tasted neither bitters nor syrup. Was this really just a bourbon rocks? It took a minute but we realized this gal cannot tend and talk at the same time. My friend commented that she had no idea what will happen when the place gets busy, as it has been every other time I've been there. We left after 8:00, after one drink, and for me, $21 lighter. Yeah, it's pricey. And the Carmichael crowd is a discriminating one. So we expected better. Much, much better.

Our table was ready and the Manger himself took us to our seats. This adorable three story red barn was dripping in charm and homey vibes. We sat on the second floor, we didn't know it had stairs or we would have asked for a first floor , a few of the group are not great on stairs, but as a team we made it work. Plus note is that there is a bathroom on the second floor. Speaking of the bathroom it did feel very much like a airplane bathroom, a litte Claustrophobic. The early bird dinner is the way to go, three course for a great price. We started by getting the deviled eggs and the mushroom soup. Both were amazing, the soup was so creamy and the eggs had just the right amount of firmness. I had fried chicken which was the best I have had in the Indy area. My husband had stroganoff and he felt like it was made by someone's granny. I also tasted the pork belly, and it was out of this work good. Desert was simple individual cheesecake with sauce, nice small size. We will be back and will try the rest of the menu.
