DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY from this location. They are always late, and most of the time they get the order wrong. We order from here for work and place orders an hour ahead of time, and they still can't get it delivered on time. When you call to find out where it is, they tell you it's on the way and 30 minutes later it still isn't here. We are 8 blocks from there and it still takes them 2-3 hours to deliver. My friend and I dined at your establishment last night with our favorite waiter Zander. We always request to sit in Zanders section when we come to Giordanos. He always remember our favorite pizza and salad order. He is very friendly and attentive. Our food and drink order was taken promptly, plates and napkins were brought to the table as soon as we sat down, and refills were given before my diet soda was completely empty. Great service!! NEVER EVER WILL ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!!! I ordered at 10 am on their online site for 3 small orders to be delivered at 12:20 pm. I even called to see if It could delivered a little bit earlier bc we are teachers and I just wanted to ensure it was there in time for our lunch....by 1235 our food wasn't there so I called bc our lunch period is from 1230-1pm.....when I spoke to the girl on the phone and our food WAS STILL AT THE RESTAURANT!!!! 3 HOURS AFTER I ORDERED IT!!! she told me it wasn't their fault and there was nothing they could do about it...SHE WAS SO RUDE and literally wouldn't do anything so I spoke to a manager and he was useless too!!! He did apologize that they were running 20 minutes behind and told us that our food would go out with the next delivery guy that came by......our food arrived 45 minutes after speaking with him, way past our lunch!!!!! My family and I were delayed by those cancellations of the flights. We came here to enjoy some peace and we got it! The food is amazing as well as the service!!! The manager Oscar was awesome! Great pizza of course! I would definitely recommend it but the service is a bit unprofessional when it comes to ordering on the phone on a weekend. So when the place gets busy, they don't know how to handle it. I got terrible service when I called to make an order. Restaurant was clean. I highly recommend the deep dish pizza. Very delicious. Had to eat here twice on my vacation. A small pizza will be more than enough for 2 adults. The only downside is that a deep dish pizza takes about 35 minutes to get to your table. But the wait is worth it. read more

Came here around 12 pm with my sister and the person who sat us down was really nice. But from there on the service was horrible. Our server kept being so rude. She brought the water and straws and when I reached my hand out to her for the straws she threw them on the table, I turned to look at her and she just looked at me in a very rude way and left. The whole service kept being like that she would approach the table when she needed to bring something rolling her eyes as if she had something personal against us. Then we would see her talking to the other lady server who was serving the table behind us and she also started giving us dirty looks. Why does it take 3 HOURS to get a pizza delivered? I placed an order at 3:15pm today---for delivery---email confirmation says it would arrive between 5:18 and 5:28 pm. It actually arrived at 6:20pm!! I placed an online order and the site was glitchy. I called because it said I wanted no cheese on my cheesy garlic bread. It took ten minutes on the phone with the slackers on the other end. They said they would fix it, but alas it was not the case. The worst part was the fact that we ordered at 7:01 pm. We live really close to the place. They told us it would be delivered between 8:45 and 9:00 (Note a ridiculous time already especially for a sandwich, fries and pasta.) We called at 9:15 to check on the order, but the manager was giving us a hard time about it. He claimed they didn't bump orders in front of other orders. I'm curious if someone ordered a pizza two minutes before my order why do I have to wait for their food to be done before mine is cooked. 8:15 was written on the receipt with a black marker. Their logic is absurd and so is their lack of common courtesy. They didn't apologize, they didn't make any amends. He was rude and acted like we were asking for special treatment instead of just plain good customer service. Needless to say, I'll never order from them again. Giordanos has always been my to go place when it comes to pizza. The deep dish is to die for. Great customer service. And the manager there is a very friendly individual. He takes the time to have small conversation with the customers, which is something you do not see in chain restaurants. Usually managers are too "busy" or rushing around. They told me it would've been delivered in an hour and a half, then an hour and 45 minutes, then two hours. By 2 1/2 hours I just canceled the order, and they just apologized saying that they couldn't make it in time. No stars So disappointed! I asked my kids to called and order our usual. Ex lg thin crust pepperoni, fries and cheesy garlic bread. So now they no longer have Extra Large size, I checked online to see prices but no prices. So we order 2 mediums instead but after my kids told me the price ouch! I called back to Change order and they let told its to late not even one minute passed ,so I spoke to manager and was able to change it. Our order arrived quickly. New menu, higher prices. If you are a frequent customer you will be disappointed too. Mind you Giordianos pizza WAS my favorite. We have ordered from here for over 10 yrs. It's like we ordered from a totally different place. The pizza crust was too thin, the tomato sauce had no taste, the cheese was full of different spices and oddly grease. I wanted to cry the fries were not soft and big like before they were thin and super fried the cheesy garlic bread was on a different bread tasted "gross!" ( I'm quoting my son ) Every time family & friend come over this was our first choice, like a good Chicagoan, we are proud of our PIZZA . I've eaten here a few times with my family and friends. The spinach deep dish and special with sausage, mushrooms, peppers and green onion are my picks for deep dish. I prefer the thin crust pizza over the deep dish in general. The quality of the pizza is higher than dominos or pizza hut. read more

THE WORST!!!!! Called in For a pick up order on A Monday night and the lady who answered her name was Evelyn, she seemed nice at first but as I began to order I had a few questions this was my first time at a Giordano's , she kept cutting me off saying stuff I didn't even ask for and when I asked her to let me finish talking so she can get my order correctly she just put me on hold without asking me. I was On hold for about 7 minutes and another lady answered I couldn't understand her name but she was very nice and polite not to mention very patient. She answered all my questions and even recommended me a pizza.. That's Great Customer Service....So I walk in pick up the order theres only one girl in front she greets me and asks if I'm picking up she gets my order ready and starts calling another girl to the front so she can ring up my order but the other one was busy in back laughing it up with the other employees I guess that's more important than a paying customer. As I give her my debit card she snatches it out of my hand I ask to speak with the manger so she picks up the phone and I guess she call him cause she hangs up and tell me hes busy.. yeah right !! so I will never be ordering from them anymore!! Love the pizza hate the service. Delivery takes double whatever time you're told. And don't even bother calling to inquire about your order, you'll be transferred 3 times before you get a manager and even then he'll put you on hold. At 630, still no pizza, so I call the restaurant. After waiting on hold for literally 10 minutes, the girl comes back asks "How can I help you?". I explain again the situation - puts me hold AGAIN. When she comes back she tells me the driver left 10 minutes ago. Seriously? Okay - no apology, no explanation. I would have cancelled the order but I was starving. Pizza and garlic bread arrive at .... 730. Ice cold, garlic bread hard as a rock.. Now mind you, this is a medium thin crust cheese pizza - not deep dish, nothing fancy. On a Tuesday night. i dont remember when this wasnt a chain, but i do remember when there was a location on 63rd by california(its not the midway one, that barely opened). im really not sure if that was the original, but i do remember ordering from that one when i was a kid. since that location closed this is the one we usually order our STUFFED pizza from. the stuffed sausage is very good, also the spinach. i never had Giordano's pizza from all the other locations that seem to be popping up everywhere, but it does suck when a place like this, and uno's get bought out and they make them everywhere!!! oh well the pizza is still good, stay away from the thin crust, i really dont care to much for it!!! read more
