Pizza and cheese garlic bread was on point. Our salad was not great at all. You'd expect a fresh cold Cesar salad but it tasted warm and soggy. No crunch on the salad at all. Our server was very good! She was attentive to our party.

Went here for dinner. This place is cool. They have tvs so you can watch sports. They have plenty of seating. Our waitress was great. She got our drinks and put our pizza order in quickly. The pizza was delicious. We had fabulous pizza and service!

This place is my group's go-to place on Day 0 for PRI and it's honestly the BEST pizza ever. I'm from California and ever since I got my hands on a slice of Giordano's signature famous deep dish pizza, it was over. No pizza place from my home state can't compare so Giordano's is always something to look forward to during our 4 day visit. Meat and more meat! This was our table's pizza that was split between 4 people. Honestly can't complain, I love all of their pizza but since we only visit once a year, we always order deep dish style. Never fails and always leaves us full! Carnivore? Then you should definitely order this dish! Make sure it's the biggest one too! Calabrian Chili Honey Chicken Wings Ok so I can't be entirely biased with Giordano's. We wanted to try this out since it was a limited chicken wing flavor and honestly it wasn't the best. I mean it's a pizza joint? They specialize in pizza but we were so hungry that we figured to try it out. Hey, if you love chicken wings or just an enthusiast for wings in general, by all means give this one a shot if it's still available! Overall Always excited to come to Indiana cause I KNOW I'll be eating some damn good pizza. Deep dish style isn't for everyone which is nice that they have their Tavern Style and Thin Crust Pizzas. But since Giordano's specializes in deep dish pizza, it's highly recommended to order deep dish style! can't wait to visit again next year and see what new pizza they'll have! And can't forget about the awesome servers doing their best on those busy convention nights! Y'all the real MVP's! Ambiance is warm and inviting with a bit of high noise since it's also got a bar but it never phases me, if anything it's relaxing since I know I'll be indulging into pizza goodness. Just remember to come hungry and you'll guaranteed to leave happy! See you next year Giordano's!

My 5 Takeaways (in under 60 seconds) Location: Prime location in downtown Indy near stores and things to do. Street parking and nearby parking garages are available. Vibe: Family-friendly, relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere. The décor and layout are really nice. Service: Overall, the customer service isn't the best but isn't the worst. It could use some improvements, but nothing major. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and warm. Food: Really good deep-dish pizza! BIG portions, standout flavors, and superior ingredients. I recommend the Double Pepperoni - you won't be disappointed! Quick Tip: Don't sleep on their sides! The Greek Salad and Calabrian Chili Honey Wings are both top tier!

Individual deep dish with mushroom, garlic, pepperoni. Delivered, and unfortunately not super warm.

I LOVE Giordano's - it's my favorite Chicago-style pizza - and I'm in town for work this week. My husband told me there's a location 1/4 of a mile from my hotel, so I decided to get delivery tonight. They are not on Doordash - they have their own system, and there is a $1 delivery fee, $3 driver fee, and then tip on top of that. I ordered bruschetta for an appetizer and an individual pizza with garlic, mushroom, and pepperoni. It said on their website it would take about 50 minutes to an hour, so I made sure to order it as I was leaving a work event. 60 minutes came and went, then 70, so I called the restaurant to check on the order. It turned out the driver had left my meal with the front desk. (This was partially my fault - it turns out cell reception isn't great in my room at this hotel, it turned out the driver DID text me, saying "downstairs with your order," but I didn't receive it until 8:25pm ... I ordered around 6:50pm and the order was supposed to be ready 7:50-8:00pm) Because of this, I didn't get my food until 8:10-8:20 or so, and unfortunately the pizza was barely warm. My hotel thankfully has a microwave so I microwaved it a little bit, but even before that, the crust was kinda soggy, as was the bruschetta - even though I appreciate them putting the tomatoes on the side, so that the whole thing wasn't soggy. All of this with tip was about $36 btw, and if I didn't have a work expense account I'd be even more disappointed than I currently am. Oddly enough, the bruschetta was better than the pizza, maybe because the tomatoes were put on the side. The pizza was still tasty but the cheese and the crust was lukewarm at best.

The best pizza in Indiana hands down. There is no pizza like New York pizza. Giordano's makes me feel at home!!

Ordered via Uber Eats. I ordered a small thin that was way under cooked. Total was $49 with a taxes and fees. Took two bites and went straight into the garbage! Terrribke.

Had Lunch here that was recommended by our Uber driver. Giordano's has been here for over 50 years so maybe it's a home town favorite. Pizza was ok. Service was great and the ambiance make you want to come in.

I absolutely love Chicago food, with Chicago style deep dish pizza being a fav of mine... you can't really get it on the East Coast, so when I visit places where there's a Lou Malnati's, I get it! So, when in Indy and seeing there was a Giodano's I wanted to try it to see how it compared to Lou Malnati's. I previously only tried Giodano's in ORD and didn't think the airport version was the right way to try it, so I came here to see what the actual, handmade restaurant was like. Service was very slow, I had to wait a long time before my server came to the table to greet me, once she did, she was very friendly. Also, if you order a pizza, it take about 45 minutes to make, which I understand. I tried a small pepperoni with jalapeños and asked for extra tomato sauce. It did take about 45 minutes to show up at the table and, as you would imagine, it was piping hot. I dug right in, and the "umami" I crave in the Lou Malnati's sauce and crust was totally lacking - which was my first impression. I took a few more bites and loved the thickness and stringiness of the cheese. The bottom crust was good, but the side crust was thick and flavorless. I ate only 3 slices there and took the rest to go. I actually put it in the hotel room's fridge and then flew home with it the next morning to share with my son, who also love Lou Malnati's. He enjoyed this pizza, but I feel that's because he's been craving Lou's so much lately... so have it! Would I return to a Giordano's? Nope... I'll stick with Lou's!

They were short staffed. For a small thin crust margarita pizza it took an extremely long time !! once we got it they tell us that they were out of basil. And there was no tomatoes on it. Why would you make just a cheese pizza and not tell us first so if you wanted to change your minds, we so we just got a cheese pizza. It was OK tasting, but I've had better !! Our server never came back to us at all so we got a different one and he was nice. we won't be coming back here.

Food was incredible. Garlic parmesan fries were delicious. The pizza was well made a unique. I really enjoyed the food. Service was good. Attentive waitress. Satisfied my expectations. Ambiance was neat, felt like a good family friendly atmosphere. Overall, it was really good. I would try again if I was a local and I think it's worth your time to give it a try. Personally, I think it is best suited for lunch. Definitely get the normal pie and share with friends or family. BE WARNED - IT TAKES 30-45 MINUTES MINIMUM TO COOK PIZZA!!!! I would say it's worth the wait.

Good food overall, and the deep dish pizza especially is solid, no complaints there. (Just be prepared to wait a while!) The service is excellent too, the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience here. But honestly, I don't quite get what all the hype is about when people call Giordano's the ABSOLUTE place for pizza. Maybe there's something wrong with my food tastes, who knows. As an IU student, I've had pizza from Mother Bear's in Bloomington that's just as good. and for cheaper prices too. Still worth trying if you've never had Chicago-style deep dish pizza before, but for me, it didn't quite live up to the reputation. That being said, this review is NOT negative by any means - it's just that I don't understand the hype. That's all. I personally wouldn't go out of my way to eat here specifically, but if I am craving pizza then I might make my way here if I have no other options nearby.

A friend who loves Chicago-style pizza more than anyone else I know came to visit for a catch-up weekend. No surprise - she wanted our 1st dinner of the trip to be "wait for it" Chicago-style deep dish pizza. ;-) After reviewing the available options, we agreed that we'd head to Giordano's - it's a Windy City deep-dish pizza institution that also has a location in Indianapolis. We'd had a huge lunch, so after due consideration we decided. To split a personal size deep-dish pizza. Tip: Unless you're absolutely starving, a personal size deep-dish pie is more than enough food for two people to share. We chose a pie with extra cheese and Jalapeños. Having read that it takes 45 minutes before one of these pies is done baking, we ordered in advance for pickup. Our pie was done at the appointed time, and it smelled Heavenly! When we sat down to eat and dug in, it tasted even better than it smelled - the combination of the spicy Jalapeños and Giordano's legendary butter crust truly hit the spot! I look forward to returning and dining in next time; I'm already thinking about the other toppings I'd enjoy trying :-)

The entrees (the monkfish special and the carbonara) were good but not great. I did appreciate the crispy, smoky pancetta in the carbonara but the monkfish had a somewhat mushy texture rather than the he firmness we would normally expect. The biggest issue, though, was the check. The calamari never came off, the meatballs for the children's pasta were more expensive than what was on the menu, and we were charged for an extra calamari dipping sauce that we did not ask for. Most of these problems were fixed but the whole thing illustrated a lack of attention to detail and an appearance of up-charging the customer in any way possible. The flavors melted together in a creamy tomato sauce with the perfect amount of spice. It was genuinely the best sauce for a seafood pasta and the shrimp and noodles were both cooked properly and to perfection. Nothing was overcooked. Every bite was like heaven. I tried my friend's pastas as well and the Tortellacci was suprisingly so tasty. The amount of lemon they add in the sauce pairs so nicely with the cheeses they used. I say "surprisingly so tasty" because to the naked eye it doesn't look that special but when you take a bite your eyes get big because it's so good lol. The chicken was also insanely tender!!! Just a chicken cutlet with small amounts of cheese and red sauce, it looks like it was more for presenting than enjoying. Not coming back anytime soon, and definitely not a top place to go if youre looking for the best chicken parm in the city!

I have already reviewed their incredible pizzas with flying colors…read more Yesterday I was extremely happy with my choice to try the Tuesday special which was wonderful!! The steak pappardella pasta is a real delight. Broad flat egg noodles in a rich creamy sauce with mushrooms and topped with sliced medium steak. Bonus.....Tuesday is half priced wine! Topped it off with espresso martinis was another bonus. You will love it. Sam the owner is a great guy.

Came here for lunch on a random Saturday and it was in fact a later lunch than the usual rush-hour…read more There was only one other family at the time having lunch and we were quickly seated The menu seems really diverse with lots of choices. However, the pasta choices are only rigatoni or spaghetti. From the pictures yes they really do have a pizza oven, which is fantastic The calamari was great, especially because it contained tentacles. However, at this price point, the plate was pathetically filled with barely anything. So they're charging high prices, trying to present themselves as a great place to be, and yet are feeding you less than the competitors out there. Our server was very nice, however did not know what tentacles were. Our server was slightly attentive but slow. The two pasta dishes we ordered were very disappointing. The sauce tasted like they came out of a jar and they were definitely not homemade or made from scratch in any way shape or form. The cheese is as well tasted like they came out of a bag and were not shaved or cut fresh. Unfortunately, I can even do the simple pasta better at home. Further, the alla Norma I was playing a game of trying to find the eggplant. My partner got the Bolognese and you could not find any meat in it whatsoever. It was very disappointing. By the time we left the place was packed, so maybe they are doing something right but frankly from three dishes, this was a huge disappointment and frankly a waste of money There are lots of other Italian places in the fishers and Carmel areas please go there.
