Update: 6/23/2018 Garlic balls are now about the size of marbles. Literally the most ridiculous sorry excuse I've seen for an appetizer. 1 star until they decide to fix it. 8.99 for 8 little balls. Also the waitress seemed snarky and offended when we asked if we could squeeze into the shorter tables because the high tables she had made for us were too short for a high chair and my sisters baby couldn't even see the table. We ordered this large pizza ($27), picked it up took it home only to find that the ham on the pizza was bad. It smelled like it had turned. Really disappointed. We called and informed a lady at 5:30pm on Sun Dec 10, no refund was given, only an apology. The exchange on this was very poor. Definitely not going to go there again. Sucks. read more

I'm obsessed with this place. I beg my hubby to get me garlic balls from here at least once a week. I'm a vegan so I really shouldn't be having them because they're loaded with delicious garlic butter but I'm addicted! I'm so horrible at remembering names but there's a waitress there that is absolutely amazing and sweet! She's seen us come up there through my pregnancy and we've brought our newborn up there to see her. She even offered to let me use her car once to change him if I needed to. They really take great care of you here and it's a cozy family oriented place. Not to mention, every single dish I've ever ordered here was absolutely delicious! read more

It's been awhile since I've had GOOD pizza and this satisfied my craving tenfold. I haven't been to the store in quite some time but the remodel and new signage for the beer and wine lists made the whole place just seem so much more inviting. I love this place. Pizza and pasta are awesome. Especially like the chopped and caprese salads. If you go at peak hours, it will be slow. But the beer selection is superb, and happy hour prices good. Everything I ordered went straight into the trash except the mozzarella sticks. The mac and cheese was probably the worst! It had no flavor and was not at all how I expected it to be. The gnocchi was supposed to be mildly spicy (and I like spicy foods). They made it so spicy I couldn't even eat much of it. Of what I could eat, the flavor didn't seem so bad. I was born in Italy and I know pizza. I just tried Giuseppe's last night for the first time. I had their pizza and pasta valdo. The food is as good as any Italian restaurant I've been too. The portions were big and the prices were reasonable. Service was a little slow but considering the amount of people it was understandable. The food was worth the wait. Food = Amazing. Service = Amazing (Love Jeff!) Why only 3 stars? THE RESTROOMS ARE HORRENDOUS. I am not a picky public restroom person, but because of their disgusting bathrooms, I will not be returning. I went there twice in one week, and the sprayed poop on the wall and sides of the toilet (AND SINK!) were unchanged from the first visit to the second. No that's not true, there was just more. I will miss their yummy food and reasonably priced wine/beer, lovely service and delicious desserts. All because of unbelievably disgusting restrooms. In the middle of the day, on a weekday. Quaint little pizza place in downtown Montrose that provided all the essentials: good food, excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere.

I am big on good customer service and I've had my share of bad service but this was by far the worst. I never give bad reviews as you can see from my history but I could not keep my mouth shut about this place as I was totally offended. Where do I start? My daughter and I sat down and we were ignored for the first 15 minutes until a nice tall waiter took our order for drinks. About 15 minutes later Nicola came and took our order. Before that, a petite blonde girl gave us the wrong information about the cost of a medium pizza with all the toppings we wanted. We got our pizza about 40 minutes later. Our waitress Nicola never once came to ask how we were doing. We noticed other people (regulars) got their pizza first and were serviced better. When we got the check we were charged more although we were told all the toppings we wanted were included in the price. When we told our waitress Nicola about it she made us feel like we were liars and said she had to charge us extra anyway. What ever happen to the customer is right? Pizza was just ok. Crust was too thin. Cheese and topping slid of the crust as we ate it. Not enjoyable. read more

Two stars .. for service and atmosphere. Our waitress was incredible. She was fun and attentive. Probably the only good thing about this place.. and maybe the mozzarella sticks. The atmosphere was just what my bf was looking for... loud, had the football game on and had food. We got to the restaurant and we're greeted my a host you did not let us sit at a booth because " it could be used by a bigger party" the table was for 4 and we we're 2. Also there was nobody in line besides us and didn't seem like anyone else was on the way. He told us to wait or have a seat at a very uncomfortable bench.. after sitting there for 5mins a couple on a booth left ... so we decided to move ourselves to that table. We split a pizza which was not very tasty and so very oily. I literally had to wiped down our pizza with countless amour of napkins. Sadly this was not my first time here.. We have been coming here since they opened. Our first experience was ok but we gave it another shot and have enjoyed their pizza over the past few years. Yesterday we decided to stop by and have some Pizza and beer. Our waiter showed up after quite a bit of time. He was a young guy and appeared to be stoned. He took our order and we hoped for the best. A few minutes later he came back to the table telling us he couldn't read his writing and asked if we could repeat our order. We shook our heads and hoped this wouldn't be a bad experience. We proceeded to watch him wait on other tables and get drinks for tables who had sat after us and we still hadn't gotten our beers. He looked pretty clueless as to what was going on. After 10 minutes we still hadn't gotten our beers so my husband went up to him and asked if we could get our beers. He was rude and responded "Yeah ok". If he would have apologized and not been rude we probably would have stayed but this was the last straw and we told him to cancel our order and we left. Very disappointing, needless to say I doubt we will be back. You really should evaluate your help. read more

The service in this place is fantastic! Everyone working here seems genuinely happy. What a concept - people who like their jobs! The food was great, too. Simple and straightforward Italian classics are delicious without trying too hard. Try the fresh baked bread and post-dinner cookies. The quality in this little place is surprising and refreshing. Our suggestions for improvement are related to ambiance. Some additional mirrors on the walls, maybe something to soften up the harsh front windows and warmer (darker) lighting would make Giuseppe's our favorite local restaurant. read more

This has now become one of my go to spots for pizza. The specialty pizzas are creative, the toppings fresh and plentiful, and the price is quite reasonable. The beer selection is limited but still quite nice. The owner is often present on busy evenings doing some quiet quality-checking. He obviously takes pride in his pizza and has shared with us the story of the "sauce." This is a good place to take kids, as well. My little guy will actually eat at this restaurant and, most importantly, they have root beer. read more

Great place to eat. Pizza fries? C'mon heart attack! Delicious chicken and the family favorite: garlic balls. These are basically deep fried dough balls with garlic and butter dipping sauce and they are amazing and Id trade my kid for one. Kidding. Wait, which kid? But minus two stars for the employees. Where do you hire these people? School for Young Women Who Don't Care About Customer Service? Did you hire all the ones who graduated at the top of their class? They are straight up snotty! Food was good but atmosphere very noisy with one table of energetic boys who do not have "indoor voices", coupled with dishes and pans crashing almost constantly. Ravioli initially served cold, replacement order was heated but served on a cold plate, sucking the heat out of the food, and served without a fork. Had to get the attention of the server to get one after trying to eat the Ravioli with only a knife. Took awhile to get a refill for a fountain beverage, just gave up when my own went empty. Well respected place, but definitely not good for a peaceful lunch. read more

We came here for lunch today. We ordered then watched as people came in, sat downdown and ordered. They received their food while we waited. After 45 minutes we finally flag the waitress down who said we had not been served because she had failed to turn the ticket in. We ordered a pizza with pineapple, mushrooms, tomatoes, chicken and canadian bacon. Ordered for pickup and immediately when we got in the car we smelled the pizza and it smelled a little off, but we thought it must be the mix of ingredients creating the strange aroma. Once we got home and were about to eat it, the smell was more easily identified. It turns out that the ham had turned and was bad which gave it a very fishy scent. When meat goes bad, even fish which generally has no real smell when fresh, it creates a fishy smell due to the bacterial growth. I called to inform them of the situation and was told that the woman who answered the phone went into the back and tried some of the ham and it was ok. I said that we weren't going to eat the pizza for fear of food poisoning. We were not offered any sort of refund, only that we could drive back and they would make us a new pizza. I will not be eating at this place again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. read more

We waited 15 minutes with no acknowledgement even though both waitresses and the busser passed our table four or five times, cleaned the two tables next to us, and picked up a wadded napkin under the chair in which I was sitting. It was the best of service, it was the worst of service. It was during the Montrose Christmas Parade when I wanted some coffee and my wife wanted something to eat. I suggested we go over to Starbucks and get them both from there but my wife wanted to support the small businesses along Honolulu. So, we got an Americano from Rest Farmhouse Inspired and chicken wings from Giuseppe's a few doors down. The coffee was weak, overpriced and came with attitude.
