It was the worst restaurant I've been to recently. The Chicken Delight pizza had just two tiny pieces of chicken per slice -- each about the size of a thumbnail. Even using a store-bought dough at home would've tasted better. The Champignon Alfredo had maybe two mushrooms in total, thinly sliced. The calamari was served greasy and not even hot. It was our first time trying the place, and we were excited to see what this new spot had to offer. ​The first thing we noticed was the ambiance. It strikes a nice balance between casual and modern, with a clean and contemporary feel. While the restaurant was only moderately busy, our server seemed a bit overwhelmed, though she was very sweet and attentive to our needs. A particularly thoughtful touch was when she offered a small "Happy Birthday" banner for my husband after we inquired about candles for our cake. ​ ​We ordered a wide variety of dishes to get a full sense of the menu. The crispy chili potatoes, tac tac taco, fried chicken, Alfredo pasta, risotto, and chicken masala sandwiches all made their way to our table, along with three different pizzas: the LexiTini, chicken delight, and mushroom truffle. ​The food overall was quite yummy, with some clear standouts. The chicken masala sandwiches were absolutely the best thing we ordered. The Alfredo pasta, risotto, and crispy chili potatoes were also excellent and highly recommended. ​Unfortunately, not everything was a hit. The pizzas were a big disappointment, especially since I had high hopes for them. The truffle mushroom and chicken delight pizzas were both extremely heavy on the cheese, while the LexiTini had surprisingly little. The biggest letdown, however, was the fried chicken. It was not visually appealing and tasted overly salty--we were very unimpressed. It was so bad that I would honestly recommend removing it from the menu completely. ​ ​Dessert was also a bit of a letdown. We tried all of them, but they were quite "blah." The cannoli fusion didn't work for us at all. The lava cake and tiramisu showed some potential, but there is definitely a lot of room for growth in the dessert department. ​Glasshouzz has a lot of potential. While the food and service were a bit inconsistent, the standout dishes were genuinely delicious, and the staff was lovely despite being busy. With a few tweaks to the menu--especially the fried chicken and desserts--this could become a real gem in Livermore. I'll definitely be back to give it another try. read more

I'm usually one to never write reviews or write negative ones at that. I came here with a girlfriend for lunch today. We had good service, grabbed two mocktails (great) and had two starters--Caesar salad and the potatoes. The salad was good, and the potatoes tasted crispy and were coated in a spicy orange glaze (think Panda Express orange chicken). The main issue comes from the kitchen for the entrees. I ordered a crab risotto and she ordered a seafood alfredo and requested to add chicken for more protein. 1. Crab risotto: not arborio rice, just standard rice, creamed. And imitation crab, just peeled into strips over the meal (listed as crab flakes on the menu). The portion was huge (great if enjoy this type of dish) but the quality of the meal was easily a 0/5. We sent this back. I took one to two bites but it was terrible. 2. Seafood Alfredo: the protein in this was just frozen mini shrimp. We thought it was different than it was rotini pasta but my friend said it was good. So no complaints other than the frozen shrimp. These were two of the most expensive entrees on the menu. The server tried to downplay it and say he was out on vacation and had no idea what this was... but previous reviews also said it was imitation crab. I can't speak to the rest of the menu, but it was just disappointing that this was our first experience here and we won't be back. read more

Just not good... I honestly do not mean any malicious intent but: how and why did this place come up with their concepts for a customer's dinning experience? It's like trying to piece together a bunch of fads and the result is donkey's... I got intrigued by their ad campaign and decided to take my girlfriend out for a princess treatment. It was just sad... more sad than bad. - the restaurant layout was much like the first ever Café World - terrible music choice - the food was bad... borderline not edible - questionable drinks... like what is this?! - one waitress (our waitress) was not attentive... another nicer waitress has to come in w/ the save - ... and yeah, the tiny chicken pieces - ran out of certain item on the menu, we came in at 6pm on a Friday night. Glasshouzz has become a regular dinner location for myself and my two daughters (ages 12 and 16). We have tried most things on the menu and always get the caprese salad, Alfredo (order some extra garlic bread because it's SO good), a pizza and always switch up one other thing. Everything has been delicious so far. We always get a seat right away which is nice. My daughters love the milkshakes and I love blue alcoholic drink (I think it's called poolside). read more

We had the Greek Island and Margherita pizzas. Both tasted good! I wish the margherita had fresh mozzarella, and kept the basil leaves whole. The free bread was a bit sad. Felt like some store bought bread, and presentation also kinda sucked. Just some bits of bread in a basket lined with a cheap napkin. Also, parmesan and chili flakes were the disposable kind, in paper packets. Some shakers would look a lot nicer. Still, the actual pizza, service, and ambiance were good, so I'd still go back. Especially in the summer, I'm looking forward to going back with the dog and dining out on their patio. read more

Four of went there for lunch on a hot day. We ordered pizza, sandwiches and salad. All were very good, and presented well. The service was very good, and there is plenty of parking there. The Resturant is well lit with lots of glass to see outside, not a box! The utensils were unique. As a plus the owner, Chinar, came to talk to us and offered us madras coffee that we accepted. The coffee was made to our taste and served in a nice cut and saucer. I would go there again when I am in that area. read more

In a world where everything feels so pre-packaged and transactional, Glass Houzz is a breath of fresh air. The atmosphere is casual, but the food is way more elevated than the surroundings would cause you to expect. High quality, elegant and delicious. You can roll in foot sore from shopping and have an amazing meal for a very reasonable price. I had the mushroom risotto and it was the best I'd ever had. A neighboring table ordered a pizza so gorgeous that I ordered the exact same one to take home. It tasted even better than it looked. The service was as warm and genuine as the food. Our server Oscar is just the best human and was the very opposite of transactional. On my way out, I was told I was welcome to come back anytime - even if it was just to charge my phone. It was a rare and beautiful thing to be treated as a friend in a place I've never been before. If I lived closer, I'd go there every weekend. As it is, I'll be making this a regular destination. We came across Glasshouzz after shopping at the outlets and we were surprised by how great it was! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal. Our server Mika truly made the visit special. Not only was she attentive and friendly, but I couldn't decide what to get to drink so she surprised me with raspberry latte that was absolutely delicious and it was clear that Mika took extra care in preparing it. This a new place in our area and we were excited to try it. The manager is AWESOM!! She's super friendly and helpful and accommodating. She gave us a run down of her favs on the menu and then gave us recommendations. We ordered our drinks and waited for our food. By the way, the in house made ice tea, lemonade AND orange juice are soo good! Our food arrived and everything looked great. We ordered a half and half pizza, lamb roll, and a chicken dish. While everything was good, none of it was great. We were expecting dishes packed with flavor because they had some fun flavors but everything was just kind of blah. Kind of bland for an Indian fusion place, which was disappointing. The half chicken delight pizza and half lexitini pizza was bland. The chicken delight half just tasted like chicken and cheese and was supposed to halve Alfredo sauce but you couldn't taste it at all. The Lexitini which was supposed to have tandoori chicken and makhni sauce just tasted sweet and a little spicy. Chicken was bland. It was real let down. Once we were done we ordered 2 milk shakes, one Oreo and one orange julius and they were outstanding!!! Would totally go back for the orange Julius shake Overall, the manager, the drinks and the milkshakes are worth going back for, but the food wasn't really anything to write home about. Also, they are called the glasshouse for a reason. The seating is all surrounded by glass, which is beautiful but once that sun starts to set, it's brutal. There's no shade which is difficult if you're seated towards the glass. The manager did say they are working on getting shades which is good. This place took over Meet Fresh which I was sad about when it closed. The interior still has the same layout, but all the tables and chairs are new and the interior is modern and clean. We went on a Friday night around 6:30 and were surprised to find only a couple of tables taken. Maybe because it's still new and people don't know about it yet. We sat near the sliding glass doors which led to the outdoor seating area. The ambience was really nice with pop music playing and a large TV showing travel sites. The service was fast and friendly. They start you off with a basket of bread and butter. We ordered the carbonara pasta and the all meat pizza. Both were delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Don't let the outside fool you, this food was amazing! We walked in thinking it might be a buffet or something similar, but were quickly greeted by great staff and a very nice lunchtime ambience. Too windy for us to sit outside, but it looked nice. Ordered a few things, and it was all really good! Huge recommendation for the Protein plates, as the Chicken Breast was top notch! This place is adorable! You can tell it's all scratch made, very fresh. The service was excellent and everything was well prepared, prompt and priced very fairly. They have an interesting house made iced tea that is like fall in a glass. Super tasty. I wish it came with unlimited refills though. lol. We ended up popping in after a disastrous attempt at the place across the street and they definitely turned our evening around in the best way! I had the Bao tacos and they were so tasty! The mushroom soup was lovely and their protein chicken plate was simple, but excellent! The veggies were cooked perfectly, the chicken was a full, large chicken breast and the mashies were good too. There were only two other people in the restaurant. Then we got our pizza but no drinks. I had to ask again, so we had something to drink with our food. The waitress gave me the drink menu and I asked for the Sour Sober Guava but said the bar was closed and it was 12pm during lunch time. Later I found out this was a mocktail drink so I don't understand why no one in the restaurant couldn't make me the drink. And it was my birthday which was the whole purpose of coming here. The lady who seated us was very nice and let us know what things on the menu needed to be updated. I ordered a raspberry Italian soda and the lamb wrap with fries.
