Dealerships can be so deceiving. They say/promise something and try to change it. For instance my daughter ordered a new car and didn't want some options so the loan officer finally threw in the options. He called after the car was delivered to have the item removed from her car. She called the dealership Manager and cleared it up. Think about it how many customers did he do that too? And possibly got away with it. read more

"STAY AWAY! I would give this dealership 0 stars if I could. They tried to scam me into a $3k after market security system. The car has an anti-theft system AND on-star already! I guess they think the I'm dumb. They had the Tahoe SUV I wanted, they and asked me to come down and pre-contract for its arrival, I drove an hour... I even agreed to a price and was willing to pay the $5k markup they are asking. At 4pm the day before my appt I get an text that says they install a $3k AVAS alarm to avoid car theft while it's on the lot. Obviously, I assume I can deny this when I got there since it's *dealer installed* and it's *not on the car yet*. I arrive and let them know I'm paying cash ($5k over MSRP) and will pick up the SUV the day it arrives so no dealer installed alarm needed. I explain the SUV comes with an anti-theft system and on-star so this is unnecessary. I say "it's simple. It's a dealer install. Don't install it". They wouldn't budge. Ehab, the sales rep goes to the GM and comes back and says he'll drop the price to $2k. I say NO. I have no need for this dealer product. We argue back and forth for a while until him and the GM don't budge. Turns out they admit the alarm is a way of marking the car up more. I drive an hour home in anger and write this review. Don't waste your time! I wish they would have just told me they mark the cars up $8k. I would have never went. In my opinion, if a dealer doesn't have the car yet, and you ask them not to install an aftermarket item on the car, they should honor that. It should be illegal for them to force you into after market products. Again, STAY AWAY! Unless you have a need for a 3rd aftermarket security system on your car. Now for the "Please reach out to us so we can remedy it for the future response"... read more

On behalf of my parents who do not have the best English: Glendale Chevrolet listed an SUV online and they came in to look at it. Emma was super friendly and informative when she demonstrated the car and took them for a test drive for the first hour. After this, the next step was to negotiate with her boss, Ed. He lacked any basic manners and didn't even introduce himself. He immediately gave them a price $6k higher than the online price because "they did not qualify." He then left without giving any explanation. We're not typically a sensitive family but there was definitely a lack of respect and interest and Ed definitely deserved this feedback. read more

The service advisors are great, hardworking, and kind. 1 star for their incompetent mechanics. They misdiagnose the problem and does not know to repair. They say its fixed but 10 mins driving and... its still broken. - Still asked for payment. They say they need to order parts to replace $$+ and it'll be fixed. Parts are replaced and... its still broken. - Still asked for payment. They say they need to order more parts to replace $$$+ and blah blah... - Took my car out. - Minus almost 1k. - Still broken feature. The only thing I got from this dealership is wasted time and money with nothing fixed. Thank you Glendora Chev hope I never come back here. read more

Took my Chevy Trax here for a diagnosis for a low boost code. After waiting through the weekend they called me and told me what the problem was. I paid the $170 diagnostic fee and got my $1500 quote to fix the problem that took me 30 min with no tools. Omar was the guy I dealt with. After spending money and time fixing the issue they told me it was the car was not fixed. After calling the dealer back to figure out the next steps because I fixed what they said too and vehicle wasn't fixed. The woman that answered the phone was very rude when I explained who I was, I gave her the details of what was going on and she didn't have an answer and proceeded to tell me that she would have to the adviser. I asked if I could speak directly to the adviser in the first place and got the run around and pretty much was told he doesn't have time for my call, but she was able to go to him with all the details of the story I gave her and he was able to give her an answer to my question in that moment. That made no sense and made me pretty ticked off. I pretty much told them that I need to figure out what the problem was with my vehicle but they stated they would charge me the $1500 because I used aftermarket parts to fix the vehicle. I took the vehicle to another shop and the stated that my turbo was cracked and showed me that it was cracked causing the low boost code to come on my vehicle. After finding this out, I called dealer again because this 100% would be covered under warranty. They once again gave me the run around stating the vehicle would be sitting there for weeks while they got an answer from the warranty dept. It sounded to me like they again, didn't want to deal with a vehicle that wasn't going to make them any money. Everything I would tell them it seemed like they would say something to discourage me from bringing the vehicle back. It seems to me that this dealer didn't want to deal with the warranty work that wouldn't make them money so they wanted to charge me for other parts to make up the money. I wouldn't bring any car here let alone buy another Chevy I would rather take my business elsewhere. Unless your letting them get you on every little cost it's apparent that you don't matter to them. As soon as I started questioning everything the tune of the lady started to change, because I would not get transferred to anyone else. I get it everyone has to make money but when I bought my vehicle I paid for a warranty. If they wanted me to take my car to original dealership that made money on the car they could have easily suggested that. read more

Review by Shai R: We were looking into leasing a new car and during doing so, got in touch with Glendora Chevrolet. From the get go, talking on the phone with Maribel, and then to Kobe and Mark we received the best customer service ever! We had quite a numerous phone calls, and whenever we called, each and every one of them was in the loop of what was discussed with anyone of the others. Arriving to the dealership, we were greeted by Greg and Kobe who took care of us with with the utmost customer care. Upon concluding the leasing process we met the lovely and very professional Leslie, who assisted us with the financial part of the process treating us with an amazing customer service ! Once we were ready to drive off with our new car, Greg didn't spare any detail and took his time explaining to us all the information we needed in order to properly and efficiently operating the car. Overall, while getting a new car, could be a hectic process, the entire team of Glendora Chevrolet made it a smooth and very pleasant experience! I truly recommend them ! read more

Not good at all!! I am very upset and disappointed in this location. Well after leaving I have tried 4 different times to get ahold of this location manager with no luck I left messages and not one person has called me, you would think they would want to talk to a long time customer. I WAS a customers for over 20 Years, we purchased 5 vehicles from them. Just an FYI get an 2nd estimate from someone else before fixing your vehicle at Glendora Chevrolet. spoke with salesman at 9a and when I arrived 1.5 later the floor manager told me car was sold. They couldn't call me to let me know because it "was just sold" BS! Even if they called while on my way it would have been better than driving over hour to get there... my major issue is that the Floor Manager ABE was rude and unpleasant! He said what he said and walked away, he never offered to show me another car or even make suggestions. It was like they didn't want my business??? Why because I'm a black woman??? Bought a new Chevy Silverado today. Our dealer, Ruben, was kind and did not put any pressure to up-sell. The staff was kind and courteous. We were a bit confused though because we had been getting emails regarding a truck that was for sale by a sales person named Kobe. After three or four emails, we agreed and confirmed to meet him at 10:30 AM to look at the truck. When we arrived, we were informed by the manager and our dealer, that he was a new employee and had overslept, but was on his way. We were told Ruben would help us, we never met Kobe and the car he was advertising to us was not there, or at least our dealer did not know what Kobe was advertising. This led us to suspiciously believe he may not exist, but be computer generated sales pitch to get us in. We never received an apology from Kobe, if he ever showed up, for coming in early to meet him. Other than that supposed scam/disrespect, we were very happy with our purchase and the team that assisted us. read more

Bought my last Chevrolet there in 2016. I wanted a hybrid to replace my aging Chevy Avalanche (which got 12 MPG and was nearing 200,000 miles.). The sales process was smooth and easy, especially since I priced the car through Costco. Haven't had much interaction with them since, as the car is out of warranty and didn't require much. Well, last month, I brought it in for a head gasket leak fix. The service manager took care of everything and ensured I was kept up to date on the progress. The car is now fixed (under warranty) and drives like a dream. If only they still sold a new Avalanche, I would buy it. read more

This is the worst car dealer I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Buying a car there was an absolute hassle. I got a Chevy Bolt in 2018. The people there were very nice, but had no idea what they were doing. They would tell me one thing, then realize they were wrong. It took days to get the car, even though I was paying in cash, because they kept messing up. Fast forward a few years: I was a happy owner of my Chevy Bolt until I found out that the batteries catch fire. They did a software update. But, even after that, Chevy Bolts (2019 and before) were catching fire. Then, a "recall" was expanded to all Bolts. I put "recall" in quotes because it was not actually a recall, given that there was no fix offered. Instead, it was more of a warning that, "Hey, just so you know, your car may randomly catch fire. Good luck with that". I live in an area with high fire danger, and having a ticking bomb in my driveway was not an option. A couple weeks ago, this dealer sent me letter to buy the car back for $22+k (nowhere near what I paid, but I wanted it out of my driveway). I contacted them and they have been impossible to work with. They were evasive over text and refused to return my phone calls. Moral of the story: Chevy will sell you a fire hazard and will gladly let you keep it in your driveway. I will NEVER buy a Chevy (or any other GM car) after this. What they are doing is negligent at best and criminal at worst. read more

The service department is horrible. Last time I came to get an oil change they didn't top off all my other fluids. Today was my last straw with this place. I cAlled in yesterday to make an appointment at 7:15 they change it to 8:45. I get there at 8:40 place my car in line go in and wait to be helped. I get help at 9:00. Them I was told were taking cars as they are lined up. I told them my car was next until the guy moved my car. So now they check my car and come back to put i for I'm the computer and it 9:10. This is bad. There are four people checking in the office. Two people are actually taking the people others are making the calls if they missed their appointment. I think it would be better if they helped the people that are waiting and have been waiting. Thanks for making me and my son late to football practice. I won't be back here no matter how close it is to my house. My suggestion is go to Monrovia or another dealer. read more

Ugh! Where do I begin, the drop off of my car was awesome, I needed the battery replaced, purchased in August it was under warranty so I didn't have to pay for the replacement or the labor. Everything went well until the pick up, that was a whole different story the service advisor that was available was on a call, I waited and once he hung up I told him I was there to pick up my car his response was I know. I am very disappointed with this dealership. Read the bad reviews because they are more accurate than the good ones that are fake. Exchanged 22 emails with this place trying to find the exact vehicle I wanted. Their advertisement in Auto Trader made me think I found exactly what I was looking for. Turned out it wasn't, they were just trying to lure me in to sell me what they wanted. When I did not fall for that. They said, don't worry we will find you exactly what you are looking for. Only not to ever hear back from them. Don't waste your time here with sales or SERVICE. The Service department's equipment looks like something out of the sixties. The lifts that lift your car should be condemned. What a sh!# hole ! Too many Chevy dealerships in So. Cal to have to deal with this place. read more

Service department is unorganized, and unprofessional. Saturday brought car in response to Chevrolet letter about covered emission repair that causes my car to stall out and not start after a fill up. Was told the part out of stock but will arrive on Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest. No phone call or interaction from dealer so I called on Thursday. Service rep told ME to call parts. I told him that is his job, not mine. He promised to call me back with status. It is now the next Saturday, a week later, and my car still isn't fixed with no update on when it will be fixed. I can't imagine Chevrolet would be proud of this dealership. We also have a Toyota vehicle ( from dealership next door) and their service department is stellar compared to here. read more

my family and I went to this dealership recently to look at a chevy Colorado. at first we were skeptical because of the color, but after taking a closer look we noticed that it wasn't that bad. the saleman was actually very helpful and straightforward. I was very straight with him and told him that the truck needed some running boards and a bed liner to protect the bed of the truck and in certain instances the dealership would "help" in adding that to the deal, especially since I had gone in with them and I had not tried to negotiate the price of the truck. I told him I had a preapproval from my bank and that I wanted to do it through that and he agreed. we went through the process and all but at the end they were adding almost 3k because of some security thing the the truck had and since were had brought our own financing that it was very unlikely they would remove that and in regards to the running board and bed liner, they said no, that we would have to pay out of pocket for that to what did not agree and decided to think about it. the next day to our surprise we were contacted to let us know that they would remove the almost 3k in ad ons, but they would "over"charge us $1550 for the running boards and bed liner, something that I looked it up and the running boards are approx $500 and the Berliner is $500 because I called, so even then they were overcharging me for that. I still went ahead and told the person to see what rate they would give me if they financed me and not till the next day did they gave me word that they still had not bounced me around banks, but by then I had already found a dealership that was giving us what we wanted at a more reasonable price. would I come back to this dealership for any reason ? NOPE they dresss up wanting to negotiate but at the end they don't. just waste time read more

This is a bit of a long one, but it'll help you decide to take your business elsewhere. Took my truck in for service. Made an appointment online and was *VERY* clear that I needed my car the same day, hence the appointment. The visit was for an error that kept popping up stating that "Steering Assist was Limited" or something similar. Dropped the car off in the AM and was told I'd get a call by noon. Noon comes and goes, I start making follow up calls to service. I am told it's a software issue, tech is working on it now. Call back at the agreed upon time to see if the car is ready. Apparently, tech is working on changing a part but no one can tell me what the part is. Called back at 5pm as the service department is going to close soon and I am told, much to my surprise: They have no idea what I'm talking about. No part was changed, no software was fixed. They turned the car on and couldn't get the error to replicate. I found this immediately suspicious as the error popped up every single time I turned my car on. So I went outside to wait for my car with the intention of turning it on the moment the employee brought it over so they could witness the issue. I want to kick myself for not doing that in the AM but the service rep claimed they were very familiar with the error so I didn't feel the need. Service rep is nowhere to be found, service department gets locked up and the guy vaporizes as if Scotty beamed him straight up to the Enterprise. I walk around a bit and find my truck parked, around the corner and about 20 feet from where they told me to wait. Finally, a guy in a polo comes jogging out, drives the car up, and I hop in. The door is still open (they typically shut it for you and say "have a nice day" or something similar) and I turn the car off. I look around for a bit and see he's gone. I turn my car back on and guess what? Error code pops up again. I drive home, and when I return to work the next day, I call the Service Department. I am told, and I'm paraphrasing here, that I am the one who insisted on taking my car and they didn't have time to perform the repair. BUT if I want to make another appointment and drop it off, they'll be happy to help me. So here's my question: What do I believe? Was it being worked on? Was it having a part replaced? Did they do neither because they couldn't replicate the error? Did they even look at it or just leave it there all day and waste my time? I ended up making an appointment this weekend at my local Chevy Dealer in Montebello. I can't say for certain my experience will be better, I'm a first time Chevy owner and this is the first time I will be utilizing their services. But, to be honest, Glendora didn't exactly set a very high bar. They could probably just return my call when they promise they're going to return it and that will already be better than the experience I had. Funny enough, my coworker who drives a GMC Sierra, he as a potentially very expensive repair they quoted and they've checked back with him numerous times. Amazing, If they can make a buck, you can't get rid of them but if you have a 2017 Silverado under warranty you're SOL. That's just my 2 cents, ultimately decide for yourself. read more

So happy we chose to buy our new Chevy Colorado from Glendora Chevrolet! My boyfriend and I spent a few weeks going to multiple Chevrolet dealers in the LA / OC area where we dealt with rude and deceptive sales representatives and managers. I initially found the vehicle we wanted on the Glendora Chevy's website and thought the price was too good to be true because it was at such a great price. So not to waste my boyfriend's time , I went to Glendora Chevy alone to check out the vehicle and see if the price was true ( since we were so used to dealerships drastically increasing their vehicles' online prices). When I went to the dealership, I was helped by Shawn who was so awesome ! I told him the car that I was interested in seeing and he brought the car out and went over all the specs with me. He was very transparent about the price of the vehicle and did not try pressure me into buying additional things for the car. Being so impressed with Shawn's service as well as the price of the vehicle, I had my boyfriend come in later in the day to see the car. Similar to my experience, my boyfriend was also impressed with the price of the car , but ultimately decided to buy the car due to Shawn's awesome customer service. When it came to dealing with all the paperwork and financing of the car , Leslie was awesome ! Buying a car can be very stressful time , but she made the process super easy and made us feel very comfortable about making such a major purchase !
