"STAY AWAY! I would give this dealership 0 stars if I could. They tried to scam me into a $3k after market security system. The car has an anti-theft system AND on-star already! I guess they think the I'm dumb. They had the Tahoe SUV I wanted, they and asked me to come down and pre-contract for its arrival, I drove an hour... I even agreed to a price and was willing to pay the $5k markup they are asking. At 4pm the day before my appt I get an text that says they install a $3k AVAS alarm to avoid car theft while it's on the lot. Obviously, I assume I can deny this when I got there since it's *dealer installed* and it's *not on the car yet*. I arrive and let them know I'm paying cash ($5k over MSRP) and will pick up the SUV the day it arrives so no dealer installed alarm needed. I explain the SUV comes with an anti-theft system and on-star so this is unnecessary. I say "it's simple. It's a dealer install. Don't install it". They wouldn't budge. Ehab, the sales rep goes to the GM and comes back and says he'll drop the price to $2k. I say NO. I have no need for this dealer product. We argue back and forth for a while until him and the GM don't budge. Turns out they admit the alarm is a way of marking the car up more. I drive an hour home in anger and write this review. Don't waste your time! I wish they would have just told me they mark the cars up $8k. I would have never went. In my opinion, if a dealer doesn't have the car yet, and you ask them not to install an aftermarket item on the car, they should honor that. It should be illegal for them to force you into after market products. Again, STAY AWAY! Unless you have a need for a 3rd aftermarket security system on your car. Emma was super friendly and informative when she demonstrated the car and took them for a test drive for the first hour. After this, the next step was to negotiate with her boss, Ed. He lacked any basic manners and didn't even introduce himself. He immediately gave them a price $6k higher than the online price because "they did not qualify." Bought a new Chevy Silverado today. Our dealer, Ruben, was kind and did not put any pressure to up-sell. The staff was kind and courteous. We were a bit confused though because we had been getting emails regarding a truck that was for sale by a sales person named Kobe. After three or four emails, we agreed and confirmed to meet him at 10:30 AM to look at the truck. When we arrived, we were informed by the manager and our dealer, that he was a new employee and had overslept, but was on his way. We were told Ruben would help us, we never met Kobe and the car he was advertising to us was not there, or at least our dealer did not know what Kobe was advertising. This led us to suspiciously believe he may not exist, but be computer generated sales pitch to get us in. We never received an apology from Kobe, if he ever showed up, for coming in early to meet him. Took my Chevy Trax here for a diagnosis for a low boost code. After waiting through the weekend they called me and told me what the problem was. I paid the $170 diagnostic fee and got my $1500 quote to fix the problem that took me 30 min with no tools. Omar was the guy I dealt with. After spending money and time fixing the issue they told me it was the car was not fixed. After calling the dealer back to figure out the next steps because I fixed what they said too and vehicle wasn't fixed. The woman that answered the phone was very rude when I explained who I was, I gave her the details of what was going on and she didn't have an answer and proceeded to tell me that she would have to the adviser. I asked if I could speak directly to the adviser in the first place and got the run around and pretty much was told he doesn't have time for my call, but she was able to go to him with all the details of the story I gave her and he was able to give her an answer to my question in that moment. That made no sense and made me pretty ticked off. I pretty much told them that I need to figure out what the problem was with my vehicle but they stated they would charge me the $1500 because I used aftermarket parts to fix the vehicle. I took the vehicle to another shop and the stated that my turbo was cracked and showed me that it was cracked causing the low boost code to come on my vehicle. After finding this out, I called dealer again because this 100% would be covered under warranty. They once again gave me the run around stating the vehicle would be sitting there for weeks while they got an answer from the warranty dept. It sounded to me like they again, didn't want to deal with a vehicle that wasn't going to make them any money. Everything I would tell them it seemed like they would say something to discourage me from bringing the vehicle back. It seems to me that this dealer didn't want to deal with the warranty work that wouldn't make them money so they wanted to charge me for other parts to make up the money. I wouldn't bring any car here let alone buy another Chevy I would rather take my business elsewhere. Unless your letting them get you on every little cost it's apparent that you don't matter to them. As soon as I started questioning everything the tune of the lady started to change, because I would not get transferred to anyone else. This is the worst car dealer I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Buying a car there was an absolute hassle. I got a Chevy Bolt in 2018. The people there were very nice, but had no idea what they were doing. They would tell me one thing, then realize they were wrong. It took days to get the car, even though I was paying in cash, because they kept messing up. Fast forward a few years: I was a happy owner of my Chevy Bolt until I found out that the batteries catch fire. They did a software update. But, even after that, Chevy Bolts (2019 and before) were catching fire. Then, a "recall" was expanded to all Bolts. I put "recall" in quotes because it was not actually a recall, given that there was no fix offered. Instead, it was more of a warning that, "Hey, just so you know, your car may randomly catch fire. Good luck with that". I live in an area with high fire danger, and having a ticking bomb in my driveway was not an option. A couple weeks ago, this dealer sent me letter to buy the car back for $22+k (nowhere near what I paid, but I wanted it out of my driveway). I contacted them and they have been impossible to work with. They were evasive over text and refused to return my phone calls. Moral of the story: Chevy will sell you a fire hazard and will gladly let you keep it in your driveway. I will NEVER buy a Chevy (or any other GM car) after this. The service department is horrible. Last time I came to get an oil change they didn't top off all my other fluids. Today was my last straw with this place. I cAlled in yesterday to make an appointment at 7:15 they change it to 8:45. I get there at 8:40 place my car in line go in and wait to be helped. I get help at 9:00. Them I was told were taking cars as they are lined up. I told them my car was next until the guy moved my car. So now they check my car and come back to put i for I'm the computer and it 9:10. This is bad. There are four people checking in the office. Two people are actually taking the people others are making the calls if they missed their appointment. Ugh! Where do I begin, the drop off of my car was awesome, I needed the battery replaced, purchased in August it was under warranty so I didn't have to pay for the replacement or the labor. Everything went well until the pick up, that was a whole different story the service advisor that was available was on a call, I waited and once he hung up I told him I was there to pick up my car his response was I know. Saturday brought car in response to Chevrolet letter about covered emission repair that causes my car to stall out and not start after a fill up. Was told the part out of stock but will arrive on Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest. No phone call or interaction from dealer so I called on Thursday. Service rep told ME to call parts. I told him that is his job, not mine. He promised to call me back with status. It is now the next Saturday, a week later, and my car still isn't fixed with no update on when it will be fixed. my family and I went to this dealership recently to look at a chevy Colorado. at first we were skeptical because of the color, but after taking a closer look we noticed that it wasn't that bad. the saleman was actually very helpful and straightforward. I was very straight with him and told him that the truck needed some running boards and a bed liner to protect the bed of the truck and in certain instances the dealership would "help" in adding that to the deal, especially since I had gone in with them and I had not tried to negotiate the price of the truck. I told him I had a preapproval from my bank and that I wanted to do it through that and he agreed. we went through the process and all but at the end they were adding almost 3k because of some security thing the the truck had and since were had brought our own financing that it was very unlikely they would remove that and in regards to the running board and bed liner, they said no, that we would have to pay out of pocket for that to what did not agree and decided to think about it. the next day to our surprise we were contacted to let us know that they would remove the almost 3k in ad ons, but they would "over"charge us $1550 for the running boards and bed liner, something that I looked it up and the running boards are approx $500 and the Berliner is $500 because I called, so even then they were overcharging me for that. I still went ahead and told the person to see what rate they would give me if they financed me and not till the next day did they gave me word that they still had not bounced me around banks, but by then I had already found a dealership that was giving us what we wanted at a more reasonable price. would I come back to this dealership for any reason ? This is a bit of a long one, but it'll help you decide to take your business elsewhere. Took my truck in for service. Made an appointment online and was *VERY* clear that I needed my car the same day, hence the appointment. The visit was for an error that kept popping up stating that "Steering Assist was Limited" or something similar. Dropped the car off in the AM and was told I'd get a call by noon. Noon comes and goes, I start making follow up calls to service. I am told it's a software issue, tech is working on it now. Call back at the agreed upon time to see if the car is ready. Apparently, tech is working on changing a part but no one can tell me what the part is. Called back at 5pm as the service department is going to close soon and I am told, much to my surprise: They have no idea what I'm talking about. No part was changed, no software was fixed. They turned the car on and couldn't get the error to replicate. I found this immediately suspicious as the error popped up every single time I turned my car on. So I went outside to wait for my car with the intention of turning it on the moment the employee brought it over so they could witness the issue. I want to kick myself for not doing that in the AM but the service rep claimed they were very familiar with the error so I didn't feel the need. Service rep is nowhere to be found, service department gets locked up and the guy vaporizes as if Scotty beamed him straight up to the Enterprise. I walk around a bit and find my truck parked, around the corner and about 20 feet from where they told me to wait. Finally, a guy in a polo comes jogging out, drives the car up, and I hop in. The door is still open (they typically shut it for you and say "have a nice day" or something similar) and I turn the car off. I look around for a bit and see he's gone. I turn my car back on and guess what? Error code pops up again. I drive home, and when I return to work the next day, I call the Service Department. I am told, and I'm paraphrasing here, that I am the one who insisted on taking my car and they didn't have time to perform the repair. BUT if I want to make another appointment and drop it off, they'll be happy to help me. So here's my question: What do I believe? Was it being worked on? Was it having a part replaced? Did they do neither because they couldn't replicate the error? Did they even look at it or just leave it there all day and waste my time? I ended up making an appointment this weekend at my local Chevy Dealer in Montebello. I can't say for certain my experience will be better, I'm a first time Chevy owner and this is the first time I will be utilizing their services. But, to be honest, Glendora didn't exactly set a very high bar. They could probably just return my call when they promise they're going to return it and that will already be better than the experience I had. Funny enough, my coworker who drives a GMC Sierra, he as a potentially very expensive repair they quoted and they've checked back with him numerous times. I have never had an issue with anything here until recently. I took my 2023 Acadia in for an oil change and was told there was a recall for park assist, which I don't even have available for my model. Im like okay Im already here so go ahead. I was told it was a system update only so no big deal. I get my car back no problem, then a week rolls by and I get a call saying my replacement module for my park assist is in. Im super confused because this is a feature I don't have, so when I questioned I was told the recall required a module replacement that they had to order in. Im confused because I was very much told it was a system recall. Nope, it was supposed to be the whole module. Ok whatever I'll do it. I schedule a time, bring my car in and hours later I get it back, all is fine and complete. Then surprise surprise! I get ANOTHER call. The tech didn't write down my module number so they can't close the recall ticket. Once again Im being nice because I hadn't had a huge issue to this point. I was told I can bring it in anytime Monday-Saturday and just let them know to get the numbers from my module. When asked how long it would take I was told 10-15 minutes. MINUTES, I repeat. I was at the dealership waiting this past Saturday for almost 2 hours and I arrived just after 8am. I was the 3rd car taken in and still waited 2 hours for numbers to be written down. I got no apology, no nothing. And then I get my car back and everything I had in the trunk is chucked in the 3rd row with no care and the seat on one side left down. Well, what's crazy is that buying the car was the most painless part. I recommend our salesperson, Armando. We bought the car with cloth interior paying extra to have them replaced with black leather (at the time there were hardly any new cars available). After 2 weeks, we finally took our car to dealership to get the seats put in. We got it back, we noticed there were small little tears, fabric on headrests and 3rd row were crooked. Service people were embarrassed by the poor work and apologized. Second time taken it in, same thing but this time with scratches on the side door panels. Scratches that you can't wipe off. The GM talked with us and offered to include some paint protection seal for our troubles (which we never got). Third time, the seat cover company went to my house to inspect the work. I showed them the damage done on the side doors and they promised to replace since they couldn't wipe of the scratches. Remember this is a brand new car...with scratches...just a few weeks in. Not enough time for my kids to create the damage. The car upholstery guy promised to replace the plastic on the side doors. When he brought it back, they didn't replace the side doors! They replaced other plastic pieces that we didn't ask for! At this point, the service dept had wiped their hands clean of us and had us speaking directly to the seat upholstery company. The company was supposed to call me by the end of the week to arrange to have a loaner so they could replace the pieces. Well they didn't. In fact, a few weeks passed by when we decided to follow up. Service dept had no clue what was going on. When we called the company, the guy had selective memory because all of a sudden he didn't remember the conversation we had on my driveway when he promised to make it right. The short of it is this. We finally got the seats to look ok after 2 months of back and forth. Not perfect in the least bit but after 2 months of battling this crappy seat upholstery company, we considered it a loss. We also still have the scratched up panels on the side doors that the dealership never bothered to address. They and the car seat company wiped their hands clean. By the time we got our car back after them supposedly replacing the plastic, we pretty much just said "F U" and decided to provide a review instead of continuing to fight it. In the end, the dealership disappointed us and the seat upholstery company they used is just unreliable and unsatisfactory. When I went to the dealership, I was helped by Shawn who was so awesome ! I told him the car that I was interested in seeing and he brought the car out and went over all the specs with me. He was very transparent about the price of the vehicle and did not try pressure me into buying additional things for the car. Being so impressed with Shawn's service as well as the price of the vehicle, I had my boyfriend come in later in the day to see the car. Similar to my experience, my boyfriend was also impressed with the price of the car , but ultimately decided to buy the car due to Shawn's awesome customer service. When it came to dealing with all the paperwork and financing of the car , Leslie was awesome !
