Wow so delicious! The huevos rancheros had above normal heat, but it was just right. Perfect service by Marina as well. If you're in Reno and need a fantastic breakfast, go to Gloria's Cafe. The crowds don't lie.

Terrible Service. Ask to be seated inside and would be willing to wait. Was told our table was ready, then changed up on us because staffing and seated outside. Not but 2 minute later another party was seated inside who was behind us. Took 15 minutes to get drink orders. Then another 15 minutes to take food order. No substitutions on food; even no condiments taken off either.. weird. My partner asked for hashbrowns after the order was taken a minute after. The hashbrowns arrived 5 minutes later with no silverware or napkins or condiments. 45 minutes later our food was served cold. Didn't eat any of the slop.

Went for the first time on a Sunday morning to catch up with my gal pal--and it did not disappoint. I've known about Gloria's for ages and because of its off the beaten path location, it took me too long to get here! At 9 am on a Sunday we had no issue getting a table, but by 10 am there was a wait. The horchata latte was so tasty! The monte cristo and chorizo Benedict was a spicy, salty and sweet combo. Service was super friendly! It's a casual vibe with big flavor. I'll definitely be back!

Charming Mexican restaurant with super cute decor. Easy access parking lot w lots of spots. I really enjoyed the eggs Benedict. My husband got the Macho Macho Chorizo plate and it was huge. Definitely shareable, as well as the chilaquiles plate. The chilaquiles were a bit soggy towards the end since they were served over whole black beans, it all mixed together more than I'd like. Next time I'd skip adding chorizo, since it changed the flavor of the plate entirely. The horchata latte was amazing. Great spot overall!l and the owner was very nice. Be sure to stop in a give Gloria's a try.

Tiny hole in the wall breakfast spot we stopped at. The staff was kind and quick. They have no to indoor and outdoor seating. We got there on Sunday at around 9am and we were seated right away. The portion sizes for everything were great. We even had to get boxes because we couldn't finish. The fries had a good flavoring. The French toast had plenty of fruit on top. I would get it all again.

Great place for breakfast! Service is kind. They have breakfast favorites from omelettes to huevos rancheros. Busy on the weekends.

Outside the entrance. You get to Dickerson by heading West on 2nd Street from Keystone, then just keep going.

Took the truck to CoAuto next door (good place!) and stopped in for breakfast. We had eaten here some years ago and it is still good. The service was fast and friendly. The decide is comfortable.

I ordered eggs Benedict and both eggs weren't poached at all, almost basically hard boiled at this point. Very disappointing considering the prices were extravagant. I would have expected the eggs to be cooked correctly

Had been here one other time and had enjoyed it very much and been meaning to come back. Today we did it. We got there just as they opened, so greeted right away and seated. Fresh coffee, which was quite good. Took a minute for me to decide because it all sounded good, husband made a quick decision on the breakfast burrito. This was quite different for us , he normally takes time and Im the quick decider. I finally decided on the Chicken Fried steak. The meat was nice and tender and the gravy was unique and quite flavorful. The burrito had a nice little bit of heat to it with out taking away from all the other flavors inside, like the chorizo. We enjoyed our return trip.

We would have never known about this hidden local gem if it wasn't recommended by our friends Would have never found it ancestral it's kinda in a hidden area. Cute little dinner with inside and outside seating area. Definitely was packed but wait went quick. The staff were nice and welcoming with 1st timer recommendations. The food came out quick and was hot which made it even better since we were outside. Everyone's dish was amazing in taste, portion, flavor, presentation and smelled delicious. I think we have found our new local spot. If your in Reno and looking for something me to try check out Gloria's Cafe.

Really great quality big plates. Friendly service and clean inside. A bit out of the way for a normal place to go for me but worth the effort. Can't wait to go back and try the Mexican dishes

Very good food. The food is good. Very good service. The service is good. It's a fun little location. The vibe is right. Is it the cheapest? No, but only one place in the entire world is really truly actually the absolute cheapest. So...um...yeah go here now, if you like breakfast

We tried Gloria's in a nice summer morning for breakfast and enjoyed the outdoor seating that they offer. The service was excellent as was the food. The wife had an omelet with Chorizo and I had a breakfast burrito also with Chorizo. Unlike other places we have tried, the Chorizo was plentiful and full of flavor. The sides on both dishes were excellent! This place is a bit out of the way for us, but we would go back often if it was closer.

    Is it dog friendly?

They may be dog friendly in the patio. I suggest you call and ask before you go. I am a dog lover too.

Do you still have your special lobster benedict?

Last time I was there, I think they had crab cake Benedict as a special. I'd call them and check.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! You have earned a few new fans today.

Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

Brunch is all day on Sundays however they do have a lunch menu starting at 12pm, so we ordered from each menu. The ahi nachos were great, thick pieces of tuna and a great sauce drizzled over. When we arrived, every table was full, so we grabbed seats at the bar. It turned out to be a great spot to watch the bartenders create beautiful drinks, including some of their signature cocktails served in a glass purse for parties of two or more. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with groups celebrating birthdays and other special occasions. After looking over the menu, we decided on the lox crostini bites and the bruschetta. We each ordered a glass of sparkling wine. I added a chocolate rim to mine, which was fun to look at, although it didn't add much flavor. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed watching the flowing chocolate waterfall. Considering how busy the bar was, our food arrived quickly. The crostini were crisp, and both appetizers were fresh and flavorful. The only drawback was the volume of the DJ, but we knew what to expect as soon as we walked through the door. This is definitely a fun place for parties and groups looking for a lively night out. One last observation: I probably wouldn't choose this spot for a group of men. The décor and overall vibe are very much geared toward women, but the name says it all.

I tried the McIsley (fried chicken, dill pickles, ground mustard, honey) and nearly passed out from pure bliss. The biscuit is golden brown on the outside while warm and pillowy within. You'll need a fork and knife, but the menagerie of sweet and savory building blocks will come together any which way you deconstruct it. My wife tried The Chatfield (fried chicken, cheddar, bacon, apple butter) and was equally content. The Oregon Marionberry jam was a tart yet sweet customized side, and I much enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese to round off the plate. The breading is evenly blasted with seasoning and the tomatoes themselves are plump but not the least bit soggy. Without a doubt though, the service was unmatched. They handled a line going out the front door with class, getting us tables before we even ordered to remove the burden of seat searching and our food getting cold. They checked on the dining area promptly though they didn't have to. The staff's hospitality matches the southern inspo of the food! We sat outside and enjoyed the slight breeze as the heavenly baked aromas of the kitchen wafted outside. Overall, an 11/10 experience. Love biscuits? Run, don't walk!

Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to that first experience. The atmosphere just wasn't very inviting, and the biggest disappointment was the silverware it was visibly dirty. It almost feels like this might be one of those places that's better suited for takeout than dining in. The gentleman that took our order must have been having a bad day the service was brass to say the least . For me, the overall experience just didn't justify another dine-in visit, so if I ever have Pine State Biscuits again, it'll probably be to-go.
