I can't believe we've lived so long in Woodbridge and never gone. We went to the (now closed) location here and were not impressed. The one in Lorton is just as near to us, but we never thought to go there because of our last experience at the one here. Glory Days in Lorton is miles away in customer service and food quality. From when we were greeted until we left, we were blown away. Our server, Maddy was phenomenal (and I'm a former server, so I'm pretty picky). She never missed a beat. She even asked us whether we had any food allergies, which I have never been asked before. We didn't, but I found it very considerate. The manager, Josè, went out of his way to make sure everyone was happy. I witnessed him visit each table and not only ask how everything was, but personally follow through with the guests' needs. He even made some menu suggestions based upon our tastes (which were perfect). Our visit was last Friday (4/14/17) and it's only Monday and we're already talking about when we can go back. read more

Only good thing about this place was they used to take care of their service men and woman who showed their military ID by giving them 25% off their food and non-alcoholic beverages. Now you have to be in uniform to get that deal. Now there is no reason to go there! Service is dreadful and based on all the other reviews nobody there cares! The food is fair at best but it is not worth the wait for someone to finally show up to your table. My favorite memory... Me: Yes, I would like a Crown and Coke in a tall glass. I left a review about the lack of service I received when I attended this location. After nearly a month of being ignored by Glory Days personnel I just wanted to inform everyone of the lack of customer service on all levels this place provides. All I wanted was an answer as to why waiters at this establishment could stand in front of a table and debate who would get stuck with the table. Since the only response available was "This is not common of this location" I would never recommend this location to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. This restaurant has an amazing menu and an honest, hard-working staff! I love the outside patio area as well! Great for wonderful weather. I can say that this Glory Days location has literally the BEST salad I have EVER eaten! The vegetables are insanely fresh and crisp. The protein is cooked to, ever-so-slightly, charcoaled perfection! Oct 15, 2017. Very busy as it's Sunday night football and dinner rush. Everything is as usual. Wife and kids in women's restroom; not sure if any other women notice and notified anyone that paper towels and toilet paper throughout needed replaced. This next note is not against the restaurant or their staff. Who in their right mind can say they like going to Glory Days and only good things to say when they visit but some of the same stupid people use the establishment restroom and tears it up. This could be from one person or just totaling the number to several over the course of evening. Urine is on the outside of the urinal. Urine is all over the toilet seat. Could you not have just the seat up? The people that come here and then use the facilities and treat it like trash. I just don't get it. After being sat at a sticky table, which the waitress promised to wipe down and never did return with a cloth, we ordered drinks and dinner. 30 minutes later, 2 trips to the bar to see if we could pick up the drinks ourselves, and a very confused waitress who kept holding her finger up, saying "just a sec" we still had no drinks, not even water. After a 10 hour work day all I wanted was glory days wings... unfortunately I placed a carry out order.. the guy on the phone said "I can't give you a totally right now I will when you get here" was told it would take 20 minutes and arrived on time to pick it up only to be told there's no order and I must have called the wrong glory days.. after showing the gentleman my call log and showing him I called the correct store and recognizing his voice he still continued to claim he doesn't recognize my very specific wing order... wow, great customer service! read more

I went to Glory Days on Veterans Day because they were giving away free wings(the hook!!) I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly greeters who seated us very quickly. It was happy hour and the beers were cheap and cold. Win-Win. The wings were better than average for this area. I ordered the bison burger as my main course and was very satisfied with the taste. During our meal the manager came over to ask how the food tasted,how the service was etc...Again....pleasantly surprised by the service. My friend wanted a burger and beer and I thought why not here. We were super close so we drove on over. We were greeted instantly at the bar. She asked our names and introduced the bartenders. We had a great time. The service is prompt and friendly. That can be hard to receive on a busy Friday night. We ordered the prime burger and old bay wings. The ranch served with them is so good and homemade. They came out fairly quickly. My friend loved his burger. The wings were good but not as good as other places I have had them. I like how the check is put right in front of you, so you don't have to wait around for that. The customer service is awesome! I wish I could remember the bartenders name. I did inform the manager that we enjoyed our time. We already plan on coming back next Friday. read more

We normally come on Thursdays and Miguel is great . Due to that snow and getting out of Work early on Tuesdays wife and I decided to come here . Typical grill food. Very consistent not great not bad. Wings are pretty good burgers are fine. Seafood was soggy and at best mediocre. It is your usual chain that offers too much on the menu and does no one thing worth writing home about. Decent place to go when you don't know what you want or have any expectations. Been to Glory Days 5 times. Each time I have been disappointed with their food and their waitstaff. My husband and I don't like to go there, but their Cheese fries are excellent and the kids love to watch TV. Other than that, I would not even go there. read more

I used to live in Lorton and this was one of my favorite local spots. I'm not sure when they fired all of the girls and hired a bunch of incompetent male bartenders, but I came back here to visit and had my worst experience by far. Tonight it wasn't busy (it was Tuesday) and there were 2 bartenders. I sat at the bar for 14 minutes before I was asked if I wanted something to drink. When I finally got a beer, I asked for a menu (I already had an idea of what I wanted). It wasn't until a woman a few seats down from me told the bartender that I looked like I wanted to order, that he came back to take my order. That was 10 minutes after I had my menu closed and laying on the bar. After he took my order, I basically had to repeat it to him as he entered it into the machine. Needless to say, I won't be going back on this trip. If management is reading this, get some girls back behind that bar! read more

My family is new to the area and we tried out Glory Days Grill while my in-laws were visiting. They have a large kids menu, and a huge adult menu. It's a nice noisy restaurant which is nice when dining with noisy kids. The service was incredibly friendly (including a Steelers fan manager that my in-laws loved). I know my husband will love this place for football season since they have a speaker at each table where you can select which TV to listen to. The food was delicious all around. Between the adults we got a french dip sandwich, Chicago dog & burger. We all scarfed our food down with no complaints. My son got sliders and a side of macaroni & cheese. He loved the sliders and I sampled the mac & cheese - so yummy! We will definitely be back. I'm happy to have such a great family restaurant so close to home. read more

My wife and I went to Glory Days on Sunday afternoon. We had a GREAT time. The food was totally outstanding as were the drinks. Oh, and the pretzels were awesome as well. We had the fortune of speaking to the manager -- Jose Beamon. We have gone there many, many times and every time everything was 5 stars! I attribute this to the manager who is hands on and takes the mission of customer satisfaction very seriously. I think we will try the happy hour next as I am sure it will be the best ever. I have been here several times, I would suggest it. The last two times I have been here one was last week I had the same result. IF I order French Fries I want KETCHUP to come in the bag, granted when they showed the food to me I didn't look for it, its like going to get a oil change and having to ask for the oil filter to be replaced. This is my third time to glory days here in lorton. I have to say , I thought my last two experiences were amazing! First one at the bar. Second in the dining room. This time has definitely exceeded both other times that I've come! First off it's almost last call... I was greeted with the most upbeat attitude and smiles across the board. Our server Lisa ! Outstanding! Kudos to her for not only being exceptional on product knowledge , and attention to detail on every note of our experience! Her presence and smile was so upbeat and genuine! Actually less then one star really. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait. After a half hour, we checked with the host and were told 5 more minutes - they were just clearing the table. A half hour after that we were seated. That was followed by the most inept server. We sat at the table for at least 10 minutes before anyone came over. By that time, we were starving. I ordered a bacon cheddar burger, daughter had fish tacos and hubby had cuban sandwich. Daughter liked her tacos and hubby said sandwich was OK. Hamburger was the pits. Ordered it medium well, which to them I guess means burnt to a crisp. Came with 1/2 piece of bacon on it. Had to remove the burger because it was inedible so paid a premium for a lettuce and tomato sandwich with a half piece of bacon. Waiter never returned to check on us and eventually we flagged down a bus person to ask for the check. My recommendation is to stay as far away as possible. read more

This Glory Days is in our neighborhood and we've eaten here quite often. The last two times have convinced us not to go back. Two visits ago service was slow and the orders were not right. We didn't think much of it, as we've been there so often with no problems. Last night, however, changed our minds. The wait staff were doing their best to apologize to just about everyone. Our server told us they had an unexpected surge of customers they hadn't anticipated. The restaurant was around 50% full. No food was being delivered and many customers were getting frustrated. We were then told they had two new people in the kitchen. Again and again our server offered to get us whatever we wanted while we waited. Hmm, how would putting in even more orders help this situation? What disturbed us most was that we never saw a manager. He or she never came out to support the wait team who were doing their best to apologize. Poor management to hide in this situation. read more

Slowest service known to mankind -- be prepared to wait excruciatingly long for even your water. The wings are heavenly, however, which makes it worth going back to. Try one of their more unique flavors, like Old Bay, and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Monday night burger special is a great deal. The shark attack a.k.a. Shirley temple is a fun drink for all ages and comes with a plastic shark toy filled with grenadine. One of the only decent sit-down dining places in Lorton. read more

Glory Days is what TGI Fridays used to be before it sucked and they started microwaving everything. GDs benefits pleasant service, a reliable menu, decent prices, and overall consistency. Recommended if you want a quick bit of simple, basic "Americana" food (i.e., burgers, wings, etc.). I was happy to see that they started carrying local brews -- Forge beer, based right in Lorton, Va., is now on tap. We were a party of six adults and two children. Incredibly, we could not get a table or two tables put together for all of us--in an empty resturant. We were told that the large tables were for other parties--and yet, no parties showed the entire two hours we were there eating. We also did not get one of our meals until after we paid our bill--and we had to hunt the waiter down to let him know that all the meals did not come out together.
