I'm big on someone respecting my time and I waited an ENTIRE hour from my original appointment. 15 mintues was fine but an hour is insane and still paid the FULL PRICE. I feel like you're better off with someone with a lot more experience. I sent a photo of what I wanted my hair to be and it wasn't even close. She was supposed to dye my hair lighter but mind you, she was late and hour on me anyway. This is someone who'll take advantage.. sadly. Side note: I understand my hair is black and I understood that it wasn't going to be as light as the picture and that was fine. But half of my hair is literally uncolored and doesn't even go together. Below is a photo of what I asked for and sent her lots of TikTok's/links of this person hair. The next photo is what I left with. TWO TONED, half worked on hair. Communication was also 0/10. I asked for a balayage and this is what I got. And she simply stated she didn't know if "I had that time" when she was late a whole hour. 0% accountability for anything. And if she knew i wanted my entire head dyed- why didn't she communicate better she didn't have the time. Obviously I'm very upset. The damage is done and so is my pockets. Save your money and go elsewhere for the sake of wasting your time here.

Kia is a Vivid Hair Specialist who has transformed my hair from its natural brown to teal, then pink with extensions, and now purple with a silver money piece! She's super sweet, and she's always been very realistic with me about what kind of maintenance certain colors or cuts need. (Despite how it may seem, I like low maintenance even though I still want fun colors.) For the time and service she provides, her rates are very reasonable. I've looked forward to every visit with her, and I feel like my self-confidence has grown not just because of my beautiful hair but also because of her positive and empowering outlook! Ariel is an amazing nail artist! I was never one to get my nails done regularly (low maintenance, like I wrote), but when I was getting my hair done, I'd see Kia's nails (always done by Ariel), and they were literally fantastic. So I gave it a whirl and got some fancy nails for a business trip. And then I asked for some fun nails for a wedding. The more I visited the salon, the more I enjoyed the ladies that worked there and the energy that I felt, and the more I wanted to come back. Now I come every 4 weeks for Ariel to do my nails. Each time I come with an idea or inspiration from Instagram, and Ariel makes magic. She's a true artist! I've never had her repeat a design in the nearly 2 years I've been going, and she's never once told me she wasn't capable of doing something I asked for. Even when I've arrived late (more often than I care to admit), she's been wonderfully kind and patient with me. Between these two wonderful ladies, I feel more beautiful and feminine than ever. I truly feel like they're my friends, and I'm so grateful to have found them and that I get to benefit from their expertise.
