I originally left a great review but it was definitely too premature. I got my nails done here in January 4th, it took 3.5 hours for my full set of gel x, cost $150 plus tip. They were beautiful and seemed sturdy. I was happy to pay the price with how gorgeous they were. By day 6, two nails had broken off. Not blunt breaks but a clean peel off of the glue. Since then, not even a month later, I have 3 nails left (I keep gluing them back on myself because it was so expensive and I wasn't really planning to get my nails done again so soon). To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Every time I have got Gel X they have lasted 6-8 weeks. For this price and time invested, this should not have happened. I've been on leave from work and resting mostly so I have not been rough with my nails AT ALL. These nails were cured several times so I do not know what the issue is. This salon was recommended to me by someone who has used them before and swore by their work. I'm not sure if it's the materials or technique but buyer beware. Gel X is not the strong suit here. read more

This place is so freaking awesome! I wanted a last minute wash and style and they were able to take me right away. Taylor was AMAZING and she's super knowledgable about multiple hair styles and hair textures. I'm trying to up my hair game and she gave me a lot of information on my hair type that I didn't know lol. Also, this shop is such a vibe. It's not only a hair salon, but also a nail salon, and it has a tattoo shop area, and a massage shop area. It's literally like an all in one stop shop lol. Today they even had a pop up of permanent jewelry. Anyhoo, I'm super glad I found this place before it gets hella busy. I met one of the owners and he was saying they just opened up last month in January. She spent several hours to correct my color and I can say I haven't felt this good about my hair since before COVID. I initially started going to Vain for my haircuts first and fell in love with the environment and stylists there...when I decided I wanted to play with color I looked at glutton and found an artist that I thought I would like...my initial appointment went fine but when it came time to schedule my touch up I just completely lost all good feelings about this salon...I booked my appt weeks in advance in time for Mother's Day, graduation, and my birthday...the artist cancelled my appt literally one hour before my scheduled time (it was understandable I know things happen) but when she reached out to me days later to reschedule she offered me a time I accepted which I then planned accordingly to make work and she then rescinded that time and cancelled last minute a SECOND time to say she was going to be accepting a "long" walk in appointment instead at the time she offered me first. If you are a business and need to cancel and inconvenience your clients you would think that you'd prioritize getting those clients rescheduled and taken care of instead of a last minute walk in at their convenience. Super unprofessional and nothing like the amazing ladies I got to know at vain. Super disappointed. If you value your time and connections with quality artists, I don't recommend Alexandra. read more

I was greeted at the front by the owners Alyssa and Nick who immediately made me feel right at home. Everyone there was super friendly and it was a really fun environment to be in. I visited this salon as I was looking to obtain permanent jewelry, but was turned off by the filthiness of the salon. The bathrooms are disgustingly dirty, as well as the floors to the entire salon are not kept clean. I also noticed that the stylist do not use barbicide. The "coffee" station was also filthy, with no cups or napkins. Every aspect of the salon that I was able to see, was less than par. This is solely my opinion which I have the right to express on this forum to share with others before they consider booking here. Gorgeous place the vibe is nice but the girls all dress like they all just got out of bed some more pajamas, some more sweats some T-shirts and slippers. I can't believe it. They should either get uniforms or dress to impress. They don't have to wear heels since they're on their feet all day, but some real pretty nice shoes and nice jewelry comb your hair girls. Some of you did not have your hair combed as I looked around. I was really disappointed because when I first walked in, I thought I was walking into a luxury. I paid a high price just to have Gook put in my hair and then I was sent home, the girl recommended it I was very disappointed having to come back and I haven't been back since one of these days.
