Most recently, I grabbed the Grow More hair oil (hoping it's the hero my hairline needs). They carry supplements too, though, full disclosure, I still have a liver detox bottle from years ago. Oops. While they ended up "fixing the issue", there was no apologies, remorse for the unnecessary experience, treatment, or literally ignoring me for weeks using the sole method of communication (email for gift card support- went wholly unanswered). I am extremely frustrated at the horrible and disappointing customer service where they should have just issued me a new gift card in store. I left all of my groceries there and spent way too much time in that store that was completely unnecessary. The service was friendly but I'm not sure the woman that helped me actually knew her stuff. I realized thinking on it later that another woman popped her head out and said, make sure you tell her XYZ. This location had various strength oils. The issue is that she presented them as if the strength didn't matter much, and in fact that more concentrated is better. I've since learned you should start at 300mg and not the 600mg she sold me. She also said there was no such thing as taking too much so don't worry. I've also learned that yes you can't overdose, but there is such a thing as taking too much. It can drop your blood pressure (like it did to me) and be toxic to your liver at high consumption. She also said it won't interact with any medication. Also found this is wrong. It can negatively interact with levothyroxine, which I am taking, which explains a lot knowing that now. I've also learned you have to be careful with higher doses + Tylenol because of liver function. I advised I take Tylenol 4 daily. I was told there was no concern. I'm trying to find out now what this is mixed with, as it is very oily and not a true tincture like I asked about. I have reactions to coconut oil and didn't realize that's one of the things they use in an oil mixture. Disappointed that I went her for expertise and was given so much incorrect information.
