Love the food and staff. Haven't tried every item on the menu but we're getting there. So much good food ! The interior is inviting, decorated by the owners. The bar top is a work of art. Handpicked items from our beach inlaid in slabs of Cedar. The friendly staff keeps us coming back as your experience is very important to them. They love to see you enjoying your food. read more

I wish they had spent less money on the beautiful space & more on their ingredients. I ordered a vermicelli bowl, to go. Quite disappointed that they didn't even use vermicelli noodles, no cilantro & I had to add my own fish sauce. As it was a quiet afternoon they should have prepared the chicken fresh instead of reheating already cooked unseasoned chicken. I'm really rooting for this place, but after two visits I'm concerned. The first visit was shortly after they opened; we ordered the eggrolls (great), pho (good) and banh mi (disappointing, a very empty sandwich). They were still overwhelmed so we didn't want to judge too quickly. We returned today to give them another chance. The eggrolls were still great, the banh mi was less shrimpy but still underwhelming. I love banh mi, but the sliced pork just doesn't have much flavor and it's totally overwhelmed by the bread (which is admittedly very good bread). If there's any sauce, it's undetectable, making for a very dry sandwich. And the other toppings were sparse, with only the few slices of (browning) jalapeño imparting any flavor at all. I would recommend the owners compare to Saigon 8 in Olympia which is an outstanding banh mi at the same price point. I also ordered the spring rolls, and was surprised to find only vermicelli, lettuce and shrimp. No basil or any other flavors? It was the plainest spring roll I've ever eaten. The service was also slow as others have observed. While there were only a few other tables, we were ready to order and ready for our check with about a five minute wait for each, and never received a checkin. I hope this review will help the owners improve their menu so that their restaurant will thrive. Aberdeen really needs good Asian food. read more

Doesn't look like much when you drive past but let me tell you this has exceeded my expectations immensely!! The Steak Pho is amazing and has a little bite to it. The staff is very helpful and nice. The interior design is a little quirky but Aberdeen is a quirky town and this restaurant fits right in. Nice to see some new additions to downtown heron street which used to be a bustling atmosphere with cute little shops and restaurants, let me tell you downtown aberdeen needs some TLC!! But back to my pho review, the meat was very nice and tender, would definitely come back just for some more of that deliciousness. Overall this really hits the spot for some good pho in a town scarce of some good Asian cuisine, definitely recommend!! read more

My wife, her friend and I stopped by today, they are doing a bike ride from the border of Canada to San Francisco and did not expect it to be this cold. They wanted to stop somewhere for a hot lunch, I suggested this place and we met up there. I asked the owner if they can park their bikes inside and he was very generous in allowing them to do so. My wife and I had the #13 grilled pork and egg roll noodle bowl, her friend had the #12 grilled chicken and vermicelli salad. Generous portions and very tasty! I added the fish sauce, hoisin sauce and sweet chili sauce to mine and for me it was a nice combination. My wife and her friend just added the fish sauce and gobbled it down very quickly. Both commented that they liked it very much. Very nice restaurant and staff! The restroom is a posh place to visit lol! read more

The inside of the establishment is beautiful, they really did a great job remodeling. The soup tasted ok, nothing special. My issue was with the service. My server was polite enough, didn't really understand me very well while ordering. I arrived with a friend, she ordered an iced coffee and I ordered a bowl of Pho. Well, the server ended up coming back with 2 bowls of Pho. I told her I had only ordered one, and she kind of stared at me blankly like she didn't know what to do about it, so finally I said ok, we can just package it up and I'll take it home to my mom. I didn't really have the extra money to be paying for this soup but it was clear she had no clue what to do about it and I didn't want to waste food. Once I was full, I had some leftover soup and wanted to take it home, so I asked her for a to-go container. She said ok, walked off, and we waited about 20 minutes, some of that time during which I saw her just standing at the counter; I think she forgot completely about us. Then, a DIFFERENT girl came over and asked if I needed anything. I asked for the to-go container and she got it for me in less than thirty seconds. The second younger girl was very competent, very quick, very friendly. She had my food packaged up and my order paid for in only a few minutes. I really think the problem was just the one server. It is a new establishment, so I'm giving 3 stars instead of 2 because I assume the server was still getting used to the flow of the restaurant. The soup was really just OK, the noodles weren't quite cooked enough and the broth was a bit bland. I would probably go back since it's the only place in Aberdeen with Pho, but only for a to-go order read more

We were visiting Ocean Shores and was tired of all the fish fry. We looked up our favorite cuisine. And Go Get The Pho came up! First off we were greeted with speedy hospitality. The entire staff came by and was very accommodating with our questions. I had veggie pho, my husband had meatball pho and the kids (5&8) had chicken pho. We think the broth makes the pho and this was hands down in the our family's top five! We loved the entire experience and hospitality we felt there. The place is immaculate and the food was amazing! Stopped to get takeout last night. We decided that getting the combination rice would be the easiest, since we were going to go sit by the river. The order was ready very quickly. Turns out it was barely warm. I'm pretty sure that they used frozen diced carrots and peas in it. Those were the only vegetables in it. The meat was dry and the shrimp was not fresh. Rather squishy actually. For rice that was over $14.00 a plate, it was the lamest rice I have ever had at a restaurant. It was a small portion that lacked flavor. We will not be going back! Went in to order food which had a salad included and while waiting to pay saw the older guy who sometimes takes order. Go into the kitchen and with ungloved hands just taking the salad and picking it up and dropping it over and over. The sad thing is the lady who was going to get my salad (lettuce) had on gloves and tongs and I asked the woman at the register why the wasn't wearing any gloves. The lady with the tong heard me and they were giggling together and the woman at the register said she would speak to him while "tong" lady just giggled on. I continued to watch him as he was preparing food for my husband (without gloves). He finally put some on as I continued watching. I asked register lady why he would run his (ungloved) hands continually through what would be my salad. No answer. I left and did NOT order anything after this experience. This was my 3rd visit here. The first was ok but their fried rice is mediocre-no flavor to it. So I planned to have Pho noodles like my second visit which was ok but I'll never go here again which is sad because like others, was really looking forward to a nice Thai restaurant. read more
