    Masala Dosa

AMBIANCE/SERVICE: - Plenty of parking - Attentive waiters - Cute interior of the restaurant FOOD: - Chili chicken: amazing flavor and very crunchy, my favorite dish we ordered! - Butter chicken: very tasty, but could improve their sauce to meat ratio - Dosa: good flavor, but a bit thicker and wasn't super crispy - Mutton Biryani: the flavor was okay, the rice to meat ratio could be improved OVERALL: - Good food, but I think the meat ratio could be improved with a few of their dishes. I would go back again!

Kadai paneer - epic fail! This is not how kadai paneer should look or taste.

Paneer dosa was delicious. Naans are good. Ambience and cleanliness is both good. They mean spicccy when they say a dish is spicy. If I had to take a guess, would say their South Indian dishes are probably good. Can't say the same for the sad thing (North Indian dish) we got in the name of kadai paneer.

Came here for the lunch buffets on Wednesday and it was pretty solid. I tried all the meat options and skipped most of the vegetarian options. The curry options were pretty good and the South Indian street food that was included with the buffet was yummy. The attendants came by regularly to take away dirty plates. Even though it's a bit out of the way, I would definitely come back for the buffet since it was a pretty enjoyable experience.

    "Raju Gari" Special Chicken Biryani

Ordered through doordash and the food was really disappointing. We ordered gongura chicken curry and raju gari chicken biryani . The biryani was just some spiced rice with few old chicken pieces thrown in. On top of that, the gongura chicken was undercooked, the meat was still pink in the middle. Their quality has gone down a lot compared to before and its honestly concerning. This is a health concern.

We have not had Indian food since moving to Austin 6 months ago, had to try this place out Walking in very clean and open! Friendly staff greeted us with a smile They have all you can eat buffet from 11-2:30 I had everything from butter egg, goat curry, kurma, cutlet, naan and so much more I couldn't keep tract, we must of tried 4 dishes we have never had. I had to take 3 trips and we left with a happy full belly Indian food is the most complicated to make/cook due to the extensive spices they use and this place has hit the mark from spice level and taste. We will definitely be coming during dinner time to try even more food. The menu is intense but will definitely have to try everything Yelpers!! Come and try this place out you will thank me

The service is helpful, the restaurant is charming, and the food is delicious. If you don't know what to order, start with the butter chicken or chicken drumsticks, and get some garlic naan. If you're feeling more adventurous let the server suggest some options based on the protein and spice levels you prefer. They do sometimes have a bartender who can make you a cocktail, and my kids love the mango lassi shakes.

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff was very kind friendly and attentive. Our food came out quickly and hot. It was very clean and the decor was up to date. We had the butter naan, garlic naan, chicken vindaloo, old city veg dum biryani, mango lassi and a dirty mango lassi. My Moms feelings would be hurt if we told her this food was better than hers so I'll just say it was one of the best Indian restaurants we've ever been to.

I may have asked for naan bread instead of the sandwich bread they have but the taste of the sandwich was so good! They have the buzzer to get your order when it's ready. You can eat on site they actually have two tables if you choose to eat on site. I ordered mine as takeout. Great value I only ate half and was full already! Clean and with parking adjacent to the gas station. Recommended!

It has a nice crunch from the fried dough and other fresh ingredients cut through the richness of the dough. Pani puri comes with a good portion of radha and chutney. The chutney is a bit salty in my experience. Would've been better if it was a bit more on the tangy and minty side. This food truck uses red onion in their food, which makes you not have strong onion breath. Rose falooda is creamy and delicious. The ice cream in there is more like icy, not the traditional ice cream texture. It has lots of toppings, such as dried fruit, slivered almonds, chopped pistachio, and basil seeds. The crunch from nuts and basil seeds, the sweetness from dried fruit, the slight tang from dried raisin, the creaminess of milk and the aroma of rose combined in a perfect sweet treat. There're several tables and benches but no umbrellas, so it'll be really hot to eat there in Texas summer. Service is efficient and food comes out very fast.

As an Indian person myself, I can confidently say the food here is very authentic and reminds me of the flavors my mom cooks with. It's also filled with Indian families and customers, which is always a good sign that the food is the real deal! On my visit, I ordered the egg curry and a dosa, and both were excellent. The egg curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, while the dosa was fresh, crispy, and delicious. They also have a wide variety of vegetarian options, so there's something for everyone. The food tasted fresh, the portions were satisfying, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, this is one of the better places in Austin for authentic Indian food. If you're looking for tasty, freshly made dishes and a genuine Indian dining experience, I highly recommend checking it out.

Out of all the places nearby, Sangam stands out the most to me. This place is ALWAYS busy from open to close, every day of the week, and after eating here for years, it's easy to understand why. You can literally smell the fresh curries from the nearby HEB. The aroma alone makes you hungry. We've been coming since they first opened, and it's been great watching them continue to improve and expand the restaurant over time. The staff is attentive, friendly, and constantly checking in to help with orders or anything else you need. We've tried a huge variety of dishes over the years. Several curry's such as the Chettinad special curry, butter chicken, tikka masala, chicken 65, several biryanis, all consistently delicious. One of my personal favorites is the plain dosa and curry combo, which comes with four different chutneys that are all fantastic. Even my young son loves coming here because they have things like shrimp noodles and fried rice that are kid friendly while still tasting great. We used to mostly order to-go, but lately we've started dining in more often because the experience itself is so enjoyable. Service is quick, the atmosphere is comfortable, and I really appreciate the details. The artwork and photos on the walls, the music, and the lighting that isn't overly bright. They even dim it more in the evenings, which makes it feel even more relaxed and welcoming. Every visit has been a great experience for our family. Easily one of our favorite restaurants in the area.

The restaurant is clean, well decorated and ready for your visit! The staff are super friendly. I drove home with my order and it was piping hot and spectacular. There was one customer waiting, and not another person. I waited about ten minutes. My son loves chicken Tikka masala, so we ordered him some. It is spicy. I'm into a moderate spice, and this is burning my lips as I type. There was no option when ordering online to determine level of spice so we weren't ready for that. Beyond the spice the chicken was tough, so even if the spice was toned down the chicken wasn't great. The tandoori chicken is nice and flavorful and tender. $17 for three drumsticks and two thighs might be a bit steep. Overall not an overwhelmingly good experience.
