Yum! They are loud and proud of their fried creations here. I wanted something not so fried so got the K Bowl and it was exactly what I needed. Their smoothies seem to be a big hit, given that the few people I saw while I was there all ordered them. I didn't get one this time but will definitely want to if I'm in the area! For convenience, they have an ordering station outside, so you don't have to wait in line or talk to someone if you don't want to. They have 2 tables inside and 2 tables outside for seating options, along with a parking lot shared with other businesses.

We always stop by Ziggy's for lunch when passing through SLO. There are only a few indoor seats and a couple of tables, but not usually anyone eating dine-in so we haven't had trouble getting a spot to sit. I like the Phoenix burger, perfectly spicy, packed with flavor, I got the Ziggy's patty was was very good but fell apart a little, so a little messy. My husband loves the buffalo chicken burger, also good is the Crunchwrap, the Cauliflower bowl, and the SHAKES!

For vegan food specifically, Ziggy's is without question a 5/5 . The owner provides input on popular dishes and the food comes out fresh and quick! The menu takes a fun spin on some of the fast food / restaurant favs including: a Crunchwrap supreme, fried cauliflower, dirty fries (similar to animal style fries), burgers and shakes. The restaurant itself is small, making it more of "to-go" style set up but it was perfect for us to grab a bite and take it to the beach. I would highly recommend Ziggy's whether or not you're vegan. It's worth the stop in SLO!

100% Vegan. Ziggy's is so good. Tonight I had a Mushroom Ziggy patty 'hamburger', my husband enjoyed the Old 58 Ziggy patty burger along with fries and we shared an avocado roll. All had great flavors. The mushroom burger had a huge amount of 'shrooms. The vegan cheeses on our burgers had great texture. The quantities were large, the quality was excellent. Friendly service. A couple tables for seating indoors. And a couple tables outside. Highly recommend Ziggy's for vegans and non-vegans. You will not be disappointed.

Pretty solid spot for vegan food! I had the Avocado Egg Rolls and Avocado Taco. The egg rolls and accompanying sauce were so good, but the portion size was a bit small considering they were $10. The Avocado Taco wasn't bad, but I do wish it came with more sauce or salsa as it was a little bit dry. I did appreciate how thinly they shredded the kale though. I'm not usually a kale person but I enjoyed it here. Overall, the food was good enough to warrant a return visit! I'd probably reach for one of their burgers next time.

Have been wanting to try Ziggys for quite a long while now and finally made it here for lunch after going to a Cal Poly Soccer game. It is quite a small spot with just a couple of small tables and chairs inside and outside. They are 100% plant based / vegan and have burgers, tacos, salads and shakes on the menu. I ordered the dirty fries and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. For someone who is not vegan, I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the items. Everything was good especially the ziggy sauce they have on the dirty fries (which also come with sautéed onions and cheese). The Neapolitan shake blew me away - I would never have known it was not a regular milkshake, it was delish! Overall, definitely a great spot to eat for those that are looking for plant based vegan options! They also have another location in downtown Paso Robles!

I have been here a few times and am finally writing a review for this great vegan spot. Ziggy's makes their own vegan burgers, but they also have Impossible Burgers. I always choose a Ziggy patty (black beans, pinto beans, carrots, corn, bell peppers, & spices). They make their own soft serve as well. I was lucky enough to be there when Shamrock Shakes were a special on the menu. I always get it to-go, but there a few areas for inside seating if you'd rather stay there. There is a parking lot that is shared with a number of other businesses, but there is also street parking available.

I've eaten food from here once prior with a delivery lunch from a friend, but today was my first time in store and the service is just as good as the food. . It was a late Sunday afternoon and my friends and I decided to stop here for some vegan eats. The storefront is small with two (2) bench tables inside parallel to a table filled with drink bubblers, napkins and utensils and the patio donned two (2) parallel tables as well. We stood in the lobby in front of the order counter and reviewed one of the pink paper menus stacked above the inflatable piggy's head. I ordered the grilled cheese and added tomato and a side of fries. My friends got the avocado egg rolls, cauliflower taco and the small breakfast burrito. With the appetite of a hungry toddler we inhaled our meals without letting the camera eat first :-0 . The vegan grilled cheese satisfied with melty corners and succulence from the tomato and the multitude of fries were generously hot, thin and crispy. I dipped them in all three of their sauces: ketchup, ranch and barbecue. The ranch being vegan (obviously) had a tzatziki flavor profile and visible herbs; creamy and refreshing. One of my friends let me have a bite of their breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint. The impossible meat was savory enough to disguise its plant based origins. . The young man at the counter that took our order was a tall, ginger-strawberry, brunette and helped me decide what to order. . If you're looking for vegan fast food, don't wait until pigs fly to try Ziggy's!

I placed my order on the kiosk, which I found very easy to use. I ordered Smoothie 5 and Panini 6. This came out to $36.97. For the smoothie, I subbed out strawberries (because I'm allergic) and added bananas. I found that to be a really great option that they have at no extra charge. For the panini, I didn't realize they had half and full orders until I got up to the kiosk. I opted for the full order, and then realized once I sat down that I probably would have been better off with the half option. My smoothie arrived at the table at 11:49, whereas my panini arrived at 11:53, so the wait in total was about 15 minutes which is not bad at all for how busy it was. My friends ordered the Greens 5 with prosciutto, Toast 4, Bowl 1, Bowl 6, and everyone agreed that we would definitely come back. One thing that was funny to us is that we felt like the photos on the menu looked smaller than the portions that actually arrived. My friend ordered the Greens and a Bowl thinking it would be small, and she realized very quickly that she was going to need a takeout box for her salad. (This is a good problem to have, rather than the other way around!). The service was also top notch. Even though I ordered on the kiosk, I was still able to interact with the employees, as they frequently came around to ask if they could clear off plates from our table. I also went up to the front to ask for a box, and she kindly directed me to where the boxes were located that I could just grab. Next time, I would definitely mentally prepare myself for how busy it is, but for the quality of ingredients, and the portion size, I think it is great and would definitely come back.

The buns they use for all of their sliders are soft, slightly sweet, and don't fall apart while you're eating. The Bahn Mi was even better. I love pork but was a little skeptical about pulled pork on a slider riffing on the flavors of a bahn mi. To my surprise and delight, it tasted just like grilled Vietnamese pork, which was perfectly complimented by the fresh and pickled veggies and surprisingly hot jalapeño. It really needs the goat cheese though. Otherwise it lacks dimension. I was able to sprinkle on my pieces. Made a world of difference. 4) bee stang: crust had crisp edges. Say yes to the menu!!! That's the first thing that came to my mind when I visited Novo in SLO. Once…read moreupon a time, I saw this restaurant be featured on the iconic Check Please, so needless to say the award winning food speaks for itself and I was ready for this experience. I came into Novo with high expectations and my expectations were exceeded. Calamari: Who doesn't want Calamari on the Central Coast, for me it's a must. But can we take a moment to complement the sauces they pair with the calamari. Novo's calamari is paired with a tartar sauce and a sweet chili sauce. Definitely a first experience for me and I was beyond impressed. My taste buds danced because, whoever, is out here making many and flavor pairings for Novo has unlocked a new game mode for me. If you ever are wondering what appetizer to try, this right here is my first recommendation. Blackberry Ginger Cooler: The mocktail was beautiful and also a great pairing. I would love to try their other drinks soon. Matcha Strawberry Trifle: My mom, sisters, and I agreed on this dessert and let me tell you, I'm so glad we did. The matcha trifle had so much goodness to it we spent time trying to guess what flavors were in its profile. Think a berry chantilly from Whole Foods, but with matcha flavor and so fresh! Immediately after finishing my little sister said I had to learn to make this specific dessert and needless to say I don't disagree. It was balanced in sweetness, very light, and a great summer dessert. King Salmon: 2 please! The king salmon comes with Tabbouleh and green beans. This dish was my mom's and she was very pleased. One part of food I enjoy is not just the eating and experience, it's the aspect of reminisce in the flavors, analysis of the cooking, and trying to gauge cooking technique. For this dish, the salmon was perfectly cooked and it is not what we expected in the best way possible. This dish had so many different flavor profiles and wait until you taste the added kick of wasabi. Can I get another round? Korean Short Ribs: When I first saw this on the menu I was struck with asking myself how this dish might taste. It was one of those dishes where I thought, I have had plenty of short rib, I have had kimchi, but I have never seen them on one plate. More than that, I was hesitant as I like kimchi but not my to go to choice, nonetheless, I was drawn to this dish so of course I ordered it. Wow! Was I glad I did. My sister had the same order and we agreed the kimchi had such a nice kick to it. The spare rib was also thinly sliced making this dish easy and yummy. Now don't let that kick of heat scare you, I encourage everyone to try this dish. The rice sort of acts as a contrasting agent to help tone down the flavor and you just have to try it all together. All that said, I think service was awesome, then again SLO is a beautiful heart in California. But seriously we had an awesome waiter who shared with me the history of the restaurant. The story is also on their menu, but Nova's little sister restaurant is Red Luna and the big sister restaurant is Robin's Restaurant in Cambria. So good to know because I can now see how all this deliciousness connects! Big fan of these places and it's great to know they are one family. I don't think I have a favorite sibling of the three, but here's to another 5 stars for the middle child.
