I'm a midwesterner. I grew up on this pie. It's a delicious crusty masterpeice. It's nothing like it's nothing like its competition. It's heafty and will fill you up. I got the mini Humble to see the classic taste. The veggies still had a bite that showcases the freshness. It's definitely worth the wait!

This is my favorite pizza since high school many years ago. I located a Godfathers Pizza near me and placed an online order to pick up within 3 hours. When I arrived early, I was told they were prepping the pizza and side dish. It arrived a few minutes before it was officially promised. The combination pizza is my favorite of all the offerings and this tasted great. The side was a new pepperoni cheese stick that also had a great flavor with a touch of sweetness. I definitely will be picking up more often from this location, especially when it's only a delivery kiosk business and not a sit-down restaurant.

Sigh....had such high hopes after all the hype or Godfathers coming back to town. I remember eating there growing up as a kid, so you can imagine my excitement when found out it was coming back. Such a huge disappointment. I got the number 5 meal deal for an individual. Ordered a supreme pizza, but all I got was ham, tomato and cheese smh. Then I ordered the monkey bread as my side, it was so dry! Definitely needed more cinnamon and icing. I ordered a side of 5 wings since figured might as well try as much as possible while there. They were horrible. Definitely needed to be cooked longer due to the sheer size of them. I got garlic parm and flavor was just ok, felt like they just tossed sauce on after they came out the oven as compared to baking it with it. Idk, whole experience was sad. Only bright spot was the young lady behind the counter, poor thing was working it alone...phone ringing nonstop and customers coming in nonstop, but somehow she kept a smile on her face. I made sure to let her know she was doing an amazing job because she truly was.

So I recently heard about this place when I saw a post on IG. The lines were out the door for the best new pizza in the area. When I was looking to grab a quick bite for dinner recently it came to mind. Ordering online was slightly confusing at first but then pretty easy. Unfortunately the wait was long at 45 mins, which felt even longer because I didn't get the order in before arriving. I had to wait about 10 mins beyond my pickup time for my order but no big deal. Inside there is very limited seating or standing room. The waiting area is really small and I saw a lot of people waiting outside their cars, inside their cars and in front of the building. The staff wasn't the most friendly, but hey - I got my food. About the food - we got a combo with a cheeseburger pizza, custom pizza, garlic Parmesan wings and Thai chili wings. I ate a slice in the car because I was starving. At first glance I thought it looked like I picked up a pizza from Pizza Hut or Papa Johns. I was disappointed that the dough was not handmade. The taste was underwhelming too. It was good fresh out of the oven, but once it cooled down, not so much. I reheated it the next day and felt the same. I don't understand why there's so much hype about the pizza here - or why it costs so much - but I most likely wouldn't return. There's better pizza in the area IMO especially at this price point.

I wanted to LOVE this pizza! I'm from Ohio, so, Godfather's has been a long time favorite, since my childhood. I was ecstatic when I found it there was one here, and I began to plan my visit. I live in Gastonia, so, it was a little trek to this storefront. The area is nice, so, there's that...and, the service was friendly. I was a little concerned about my order being ready, based on other reviews; however, my order was ready when I arrived -it was hot and fresh. The food...I wanted to love it and made it my last meal of 2022. I'd ordered a small combo pizza with golden crust & extra cheese, a large thin crust veggie, a medium pepperoni w/ golden crust, cheesy bread, and cinnamon monkey bread. The thin crust pizza was perfect, according to my husband. The golden crust is my favorite, and it's supposed to be buttery, a little crispy, a little chewy...My golden crust was spongy and so disappointing. The extra cheese was on point, but the taste was just off. The pepperoni pizza left a lot to be desired when it came to cheese, and that crust, again. I honestly did not try the cheesy bread and monkey bread. I was just so disappointed. I will say that the monkey bread still being on the counter 2 days later would indicate it wasn't great. My 15 year old inhales everything. He ate the rest of the combo pizza and really liked it, so, maybe my expectations were too high? Ugh...I wanted to come to its defense, but, I shan't. I guess I'd suggest it for a thin crust veggie, but definitely not for anyone who loves the crust as much as they love the pizza. I highly doubt that I'd make that trek again.

Food is always so good and to die for.... the service is always good as well along with the location isn't bad because the only one I know is the one in Lexington, which is an hour away. But they definitely did their thing on the pizza & their wings too but I don't recommend the potato wedges they taste too fake.

My family & decided we wanted God Father's pizza tonight. Tried ordering online for over an hour. Then tried calling for about 2 hrs. No one will answer the phone & online service was turnt off. It was 8:06pm I decided to drive over only to be told they were not accepting any more orders... A few customers besides myself were told the same thing. Such a huge disappointment! As i am standing here writing this review, the young lady came & locked the front door @ 8:28pm. I guess we will have to settle for Dominos pizza tonight, @ least thy always come through.

Not only are the pizzas absolutely massive, but they're also incredibly delicious. The crust deserves a special mention, A+ all the way. It has the perfect texture and flavor and is good enough to eat on its own. Every bite was fantastic, and the quality really stands out. If you're a pizza lover, this place is a must-visit. We stopped in here for a weeknight late bite when our options were somewhat limited. Thankfully at that hour, street parking in NoDa wasn't too bad, we got a spot just off the main drag. Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

The draft beer (e.g. Pernicious) was $5.50, then $6.59 and now $7.00. The pizza looked great and was not burnt or undercooked - but seemed a little soggier than normal (typically it's more dry/crunchy). The service was still very good and pleasant. I certainly understand inflation and the need to make an operating profit, I'm just struggling to understand the dramatic change in pizza pricing (e.g. +35%).

Real marble tables, nice little coffee shop vibes, the plain cheese pizza was the best I've had in charlotte so far, very good cheese flavor, slightly greasy but not in a gross way at all, in a rich delicious way which personally I like. I've never eaten pizza with a knife and fork before but for some reason it made the taste better lol. Idk why. Also the raspberry Creme cheese pastry was the best pastry Ive had in a while, very fresh. Prices were also reasonable especially for being in the center of the city, I liked it more than birds pizza, which is notably more expensive and insanely packed ever since Dave Portnoy gave it a good review

The waiter was efficient, not friendly but not unfriendly either, just doing his job pretty much. Would have been nice to have him check on us once or twice but again not the biggest deal. The pizza: my son really enjoyed it and gave it a 5/5 and hubby ranked it a 3/5. He thought the crust was a tad too soggy. Side Caesar: 3/5 had some pieces of the lettuce that should have never made it in the salad and the dressing was just okay. Morty: also a 3/5. Too much arugula, we took some out and then seasoned the rest with s&p and some crushed red pepper flakes. It just lacked a depth of flavor and the bread and arugula overpowered it. The seasoning helped a bit. I even added garlic aioli based on a review I read on here but I didn't taste it. The pasta salad it came with also lacked flavor, though very green and appearing loaded with flavor it was not. And when eating it, the texture was very gummy. Didn't finish that. Overall, it was okay but I'm not likely to return just because there are better options based on the things we tried. But taste is subjective and it just wasn't our vibe today. But check it out for yourself because we only tried three things and the pictures of the other pizzas do look amazing. That is all!

Their patio is so fun, the street you overlook is pretty chill so there weren't a lot of cars or noise. The area has good enough traffic for decent people watching, that's always fun. Our server was so funny and cool. I wish I could remember his name, but he was having a good convo with the person I was with about basketball and it was just really nice. It felt like I was home on my couch hanging with friends. It's such a cool chill place. I loved the pizza, olives app and the old fashioned. It was nice to actually meet the owner too, he is the person who greeted us when we walked in and he was really nice. This place just seems like a good neighborhood spot. If I lived closer I'd probably go a lot more often. Great spot!!

Review for Pizza Baby…read more After a relaxing Vinyasa yoga class and sound bath at The Coterie Wellness one evening, I found myself hungry--and conveniently, Pizza Baby had just opened in the same complex. Perfect timing. Since it was still new, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and I decided to grab a table outside. The outdoor seating was lovely--relaxed, comfortable, and a great way to unwind after a wellness session. I'm a sucker for thin-crust pizza, especially when it's hand-tossed and thoughtfully prepared, so one item immediately caught my eye: the rosemary pizza with hot honey. Sold. I added Italian sausage to the pizza and paired it with a fresh green salad (I can never resist a good Green Goddess dressing). Yes, it was a little on the pricey side, but the quality matched the cost--and I was genuinely pleased with my choices. The crust was thin and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the hot honey added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. This is definitely a place I'd return to--next time with friends--so we can share a few different pizzas and appetizers and really explore the menu. A few practical notes: * Parking is generally easy since the restaurant shares a lot with neighboring businesses in the complex * There are several nearby spots, including a wine bar and entertainment venues, which make the area feel lively * There was some early parking congestion when a nearby church held services, but the situation has since been addressed with signage and coordinated parking solutions It's nice to see businesses and community partners working together to make things run smoothly. There's also another location of Pizza Baby that I plan to visit, which speaks to how positive my first experience was. Bottom line: Great thin-crust pizza, pleasant outdoor seating, and a convenient stop after yoga or an evening out. A solid addition to Charlotte's growing food scene--and absolutely worth checking out. And if you're already in the area for a class or wellness session, it makes for the perfect post-workout reward.
