We usually don't have any issues with our pizzas from this location. However, the last order I picked up took forever to be prepared, which is fine usually because that means your pizza will be piping hot when it's ready. However that was not the case, buy the time I made it home (a less than 8 minute drive), my pizza was cold. It took forever for our pizza to be prepared... I've never had my pizza be cold by the time I get home, so idk what that was about. But, the pizza was good after we warmed it up. It was an off day for sure. Stop in from time to time to grab pizza here since my folks like Marcos. Ordering online is super easy and fast, plus I love that they give you the option to pay cash in the store. Don't ever accept a doordash order from here. They don't have it ready by the time you get there. I was told it would take 5 minutes for them to cook and it was over 10 minutes for a small pizza. When I walked in there was nobody even around and the person working there was not in any hurry to do his job. At the end of the day if a business can't keep up with the demand of doordash they probably shouldn't do them because I don't get paid to wait for pizza to cook, it's supposed to be cooked by the time I arrive. If your a doordasher don't accept orders here cause you will have to wait. I was walking by to get Mama's Pizza across the street but a lady on her break at Marco's said, "You wanna try our pizza? It's really good!" "I'm going to Mama's." "Our pizza is better! I eat it every day." I thought: 'Well, either it's good or I'll have an experience.' And then I entered. The place is impeccably clean and the service is excellent. Off to a good start. At the same time, my gut told me something was off. The pizza took about 16 minutes. When it came out, the lady working there mentioned their brownies and showed me a tray. I said, "Ok. I'll take two brownies." Then I paid for the pizza. After the pizza came out, she said, "That will be $12.96." "I already paid for the pizza." "That's for the brownies," she said. "Thirteen dollars for two brownies?" "Two trays." She then presented the trays with excitement. I'm not easily sold, but this is one of the best salespeople I've met. One other problem.... One of the other ladies came over and very casually and put drizzle stuff on the brownies. She was extremely methodical, like she was sewing something for a competition and had three months to complete the task. This led to the pizza getting cold. Then she slowly put the cover on each brownie tray one by one. By the time I got home, I had lukewarm Dominos-like pizza and two trays of tasteless brownies for $12.96. The staff is young and loud. They played and cursed the whole I was there. Immature staff. The manager looked 12 or 13 and I asked him for the managers name and he said he was the manager. I asked if he was ok with the staff cursing and playing around when they fixed our food. No one washed there hands. Only one person wore gloves. We always get thin crust and never are disappointed by the ratio of toppings to cheese/crust/sauce. Marco's is our default for delivery.

Marco's has become one of our go to places for pizza during the pandemic. Their deluxe, thin crust pizza is always fresh and full of toppings. If there is one complaint it is that you can't cut a round pizza into 2" squares and have all edge pieces either the same size or equally covered in goodness. Have been ordering here for years but just had the worst experience ever. Ordered online and was given a pickup time of 7:09pm. I arrived at 7:05, no one at the counter, guy making pizzas ignored me. Finally a girl came to the counter and asked for my name. I gave her my name and told her I had an online order. She checked and said it wasn't ready. I waited about 10 minutes and I heard her tell the guy making pizza to make it so it wasn't even started yet. I finally just stood at the counter and she asked the guy making the pizza if it was ready. He handed her a box and she opened it and checked and came up and told me it was made with all the stuff I didn't want and none of the stuff I ordered. The website is easy to navigate and the driver was very polite but the pizza overall was just under cooked the vegetables look like they were put on there raw, and my salad came with packets of dressing instead of anything homemade. Yes, yes and yes! I've been on a Charlotte pizza quest for some time, just trying to find the best. Ok, I'm from CT where the New Haven pizza cannot be beat. Well, on the East coast, maybe NYC and Boston have better, but just barely. So, yes to Marco's!!! The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and the crust is worthy of eating every bite. I've only tried the pepperoni (two types) and sausage (just the right spiciness) but perhaps I'll branch out after overdosing on my favorite combination. Sauce is just perfect for me. The aroma emanating from the delivery box as soon as you get near delights the senses. We had the Philly cheese steak (I think that was a special of the month or something), white cheezy, chicken fresco and Deluxe Uno. They have all been great. These guys used the freshest ingredients and their doughs are delicious too! I love garlic flavored crust (Jet's has spoiled us) and these guys have the option of adding garlic butter to the crust. Been away for school and when I saw this place I just had to try it. The staff was extremely friendly when I went to collect my order. I also forgot to order a crust topper with out hesitation the took my pizza back and added it for me. Cant find many places that will do that with a smile on there face. Pretty good pizza in a pretty good location. A coworker and myself were starving after working late and were in the area. All we saw was a pizza sign and so we chose to eat here. The workers were nice. I could definitely see that they were busy because we had to wait a while to order. Delivery drivers were in and out and it seems like "all hands were on deck" and not just people standing around. My coworker and I both got small cheese pizzas (10 inches) with a soda. It was approximately $10 which wasn't a bad price for cheese but I can see how it can get pricey if you like a lot of toppings. It's over $1 per topping- ouch! The pizza was pretty good and still tasted good for breakfast the following day when I heated it in the oven.
